Black and tan male of excellent colour. Excellent eye shape and position, definite stop, pleasing ears, well set and carried, well developed cheeks. Strong neck, excellent front, elbows set close to the body. Firm topline, moderate tuck up. Strong second thigh. Moves out very well in all directions. BPD.
2ND 10 - Trixwood Atsushi Akiruno (Mrs C A Best-Rawlings)
A much stronger and heavier type of dog all through, typical in head shape, dark eyes, obliquely set, ears a little on the large side. Could be cleaner through the neck and front. Quite heavy in body, chest has good depth, holds a firm level topline. Moved soundly in all directions, just not the positive action of 1.

Ears well set and carried; they could perhaps be an little, smaller. Neck of good length, excellent front, bone and feet. Firm in topline, tail well set and carried. Moves out to advantage in all directions holding his outline.
2ND 24 - Marilouvale Sky's The Limit (Miss M L Bryans)
Ultra compact dog of pleasing colour. Head of correct shape, pleasing eye colour. Could be better in front and this showed on the move. Correct for bone and with good feet. Firm body, in excellent condition. Tail well set and carried, moved soundly fore and aft.

Neck of medium length, excellent forehand, just right for bone and has compact feet. Body of good depth, ribs moderately sprung. Firm topline, tail set on high and well carried. Muscular rear he used to advantage on the move with a light, energetic gait. Pushed his kennel mate all the way, a certain ch. RCC

More immature than 1 and still needing time to develop in head. Pleasing eye colour and good ears, correctly set. Pleasing front, good bone and correct feet. Well-developed body, carrying too much weight., firm in topline. Moved ok in all directions. Not in his best jacket here. Elbows set close to body, correct in bone.

Red dog who is well balanced all through. Wedge shaped head would prefer better eye set but they are good colour. Enough neck, excellent topline and tail set. Body has good depth, firm and well ribbed. Of pleasing colour and shown in dense double coat well presented. Made the most of himself moving.
2ND 46 - Jarshimar Baz’s Bear (Mr J Greenwood)
Black and tan dog, who wasn’t in his best coat on the day. Typical in head and eye shape, pleasing eye colour. Has enough bone, excellent topline and tailset. Moderate rear angulation, hocks well let down. Shown in muscular condition, moved positively fore and aft, a little restricted in profile.

More extreme in type but with much to admire. Really appeals in head and eye, dark obliquely set eyes, dark in colour, small ears well set and carried, well developed cheeks. Excellent front, bone and feet. Firm in topline, deep chest, short in loin. Well-muscled quarters, moderate bend of stifle. Presents an excellent outline standing and holds his outline moving. Clear red colour and excellent coat.

Excellent outline and impressive moving in profile. Small dark eyes well set, not quite as typical in head as 1. Shoulders well positioned, straight well boned legs and stands on firm catlike feet. Body has good depth, slightly longer in loin, firm topline and tailset. Well-muscled thighs, moderate turn of stifle.

Excels on the move with a light-footed easy gait.

Eye-catching young dog, excellent head well proportioned, enough stop, small dark eyes. Neck of medium length, pleasing front, bone and feet. Elbows set close to body, still needing to develop a little through the middle, moderate tuck up. Firm level topline, tail set on high. Harsh, dense jacket of good colour, well presented. On the move he is very accurate in all directions.

A picture of balance his excellent front assembly, strong arched neck of medium length, firm level topline with withers high-set. Moderate tuck up, firm level topline and high set tail. HIs well-muscled rear is used to advantage on the move. Straight and true coming and going but when he moves in profile, he is at his best with a light, effortless gait. Shows to advantage aided by his skilled handler. Presented in optimum condition, CC & BIS.

One I have judged before, pleasing balance and of medium size. Typical in head, ears could perhaps be a little smaller. Has neck of medium length, moderate front angulation, I would prefer better feet. Deep in chest, firm in topline and has well-muscled quarters. Coat of good colour and texture moved straight and true but could have a little more freedom in profile.

Not quite the action of the B & T dog in the challenge for BV.

Well-muscled thighs which she used to advantage. Moved out very well in profile. Dense double coat well presented.
