1. Moss’s AUST CH FIELDSPAN AN UNFINISHED TALE WITH EWTOR A very balanced black youngster of quality and character, presented a super outline, his head was masculine but not overdone, so well chiselled with tight dark very expressive eye, and long low ears, long neck into well laid shoulders, forelegs straight with flat bone, chest deep enough for age, correct length of rib cage to body, strong quarters from which he moved out with drive and animation whilst maintaining good reach in front and holding topline. 1. Stone’s SONNETEND BROTHERS IN ARMS JW Beautiful boy in outline with all the correct proportions and so balanced throughout , super masculine head, well chiselled with dark expressive eye and well set ears, good neck into well laid shoulder, correct body proportions and strong quarters with well let down hock, sadly he was not being very co-operative with me today but he did move well when settled and covered the ground true both front and rear with good reach and drive.

1. Hepburn & Laverick’s IRISBEL FROM NOW ON Pleasing masculine well shaped head , kind dark eye, well set ears, strong neck, shoulders quite well laid back, correct rib to body proportions, short coupling, muscular quarters, moved well holding a level topline and tail.

OD (3, 1 abs)

1. Moss’s GADHELIC JACK FROST Presented a very balanced outline, masculine noble Field head of correct proportions with nothing overdone, very expressive dark eye, dark pigment, forelegs straight with flat bone and tight feet, very well laid shoulders with return of upper arm, strong topline, muscular quarters with moderate bend of stifle, moved true front and rear with good front extension and drive from the rear and it was this positive strong movement with animation that secured the CC

2. Harding’s KINGSMIST REMEMBER ME JW Very close up. A quality liver boy who is so well constructed throughout , super head with such a gentle expression from dark eye, deep chest, flat bone on straight forelegs, good length of neck into well laid shoulders, ribs of correct length, level topline & strong quarters and moved with pleasing tail carriage but just not quite so much drive as 1 on the day.RCC

1. Harding’s KINGSMIST MISS MARPLE JW VW What a lovely girl with nothing overdone, feminine noble head, well set ears, kind expressive eye, deep through chest, shoulders well laid back with return of upper arm, correct length of body with rib cage of correct length, muscular quarters and moved out well.

2. Jones EWTOR CRAZY KIND A LOVE AT PENNYBECK Smaller girl but everything balanced and in proportion, head OK with kind expression, enough length of neck into reasonable lay of shoulder, good length of body to adequate quarters, moved true but tail was down and she was not giving of her best on the day.

1. Murray, Murray & Hird’s SONNETEND MONEY FOR NOTHING Lovely girl in outline presenting a very balanced picture, well chiselled feminine head with endearing expression from tight eye, well set ears, enough depth for age, long neck leading to well laid shoulder with return of upper arm keeping forelegs nicely under body, ribs of correct length in relation to body, level topline and strong quarters which she used to advantage on the move, true front and rear with reach on front and drive from the rear. Must have a bright future as she matures and gains her feathers but at this stage has nothing to hide, RES CC

PGB (2, 1 abs)

1. Welburn & Angus’s ELGERT QUEEN OF HEARTS TO SPARKENHOE Black who presented a balanced outline standing, pleasing head with dark eye and well set ears, enough length of neck leading to reasonable lay back of shoulder , level topline, short coupled, moderate bend of stifle, well set tail, moved quite well holding firm topline but let herself down on front movement in the challenge.

1. Jones’ SONNETEND YOU BELONG WITH ME AT PENNYBECK(Ba2) Not moving at her best today but overall a nicely constructed bitch, pleasing head with all the essentials, well laid shoulders, good bone , well ribbed, level back and quarters with correct bend of stifle.

OB ( 8, 1 abs)

This was a quality class where some lovely examples of the breed went cardless as all had to give of their best on the move on the day in such company as I was splitting hairs in some placings.

1. Lewis, Lewis & Adams’ IRISBEL CHERISH YOU This Black girl took my eye as she presented such a super outline , so balanced and overall so well constructed under a gleaming full coat, just loved her true field head , nicely chiselled, feminine and noble with such an endearing expression from dark tight eye, forelegs straight with flat bone and strong pasterns, deep chest, long neck leading to well laid back shoulders with correct return of upper arm, well ribbed with correct proportions to body, muscular loin and strong quarters with correct bend of stifle and well let down hocks, her movement was a joy to watch as she held her topline and level tail carriage whilst covering the ground steadily with good reach on front and drive from the rear. A 7 year old in super condition who is a real credit to her owners. CC and BOB  

2. Moore’s FANTASTIC FIELD SHINE LIKE A DIAMOND AT GADHELIC JW ( Imp Fin) Close up to 1 and another very well constructed and balanced girl with the correct body proportions, Loved everything about her head and kind eye, well constructed front with straight nicely boned forelegs, good length of neck and lovely shoulder construction, deep chest, well sprung ribs, strong topline and muscular quarters, moved with reach and drive steadily covering the ground in this class but did not give of her best in the challenge.
