Hungarian Wirehaired Vizslas

As you all know In the early 1900s hunters wanted a stronger type of vizsla which could withstand the extreme cold, and work in the very harsh & rocky territory of what was then Czechoslovakia.. after many years of trying & breeding they finally bred what they were looking for.. a breed with stronger bone & coat for the cold & the territory .. that could hunt boar, deer, hare , birds etc .. and not be seen by the prey . Size & high tails would be telling the prey to run or fly away quickly. Pale & yellowish eyes also very much on the increase .

The ground was quite difficult for some exhibitors being very uneven in places .. so I took this into consideration…

VD 1. Davidson’s Throstlenest Helios.. such a young looking & fit veteran, lovely to go over .great wire coat. Superb dark kind eye, good chest, strong short loin, excellent rear quarters, moved very well on tight feet keeping a super level topline .BV. & RDCC .

JD.1. Busby’s Dolgos-nimrod Zsolos for Starshoot. Another nicely sized dog, great coat,Good head with lovely dark well shaped eye, & nose. Good neck & shoulders, nice short strong loin, moved well.

  LD. 1. Ridgeway’s Zöldmáli Hunter Saman pleasing dog with good head & eye, strong neck & shoulders, good spring of ribs, moved well on good feet & holding topline. 

OD. 4. 1. Upton’s King Fox to Tragus. having given him a CC in his last puppy class which I had never done before, my opinion of him hasn’t changed ..This dog is a great example of the breed, pleasing head with well shaped dark kind eyes, big nose & excellent facial furnishings.Good deep chest , excellent spring of ribs & strong short loin, strong rear & excellent tail set, superbly handled moving so well on good tight feet DCC & BOB

2. West’s Junetta Erno. Pleasing well shaped head, good neck & shoulders, deep chest, with very good coat , good topline & strong short loin, moved well on good feet.

3. Moss’ssh.ch Ewtor Blue Moon ..

VB 1. Upton’s SH Ch Tragus Honey Bee .. where have the years gone, remember this lovely girl 10 year old as a pup and still in super condition, lovely size, super dark eye, good head & shoulders, good ribs & topline which she held on the move RBCC

YB 1.1. Wilson’s Enryb Tickled me Purple.. solid bitch, super temperament, feminine head, strong neck & good top line, good rear angulation, movers well on good feet.

PG. 3 1. Busby’s Starshot Limiled Edition.. super sized bitch, good wire coat ,good head & dark eye , good shoulders & chest, strong short loin, good top line & tail set ..moved okay on good tight feet.

2. Pryer’s Fradaikee Just Like Fire .. another pleasing bitch of correct proportions & size pleasing head & eye, good depth of chest & good top line on the move, good tight feet.

3. Thorogood’s Homeforge Highlight

LB. 2.1. Busby’s Starshot Hawkeye .. I had a truly lovely shock once I had my hands on this bitch, superb head & well shaped dark eye , good nose, strong neck going into excellent shoulders, good deep chest & strong short loin, well set tail , powerful correct rear angulation, tight feet . So very well muscled & fit for purposes ..Handler really let her down when either  standing or moving her .. but bitch fitted the breed standard so very. BCC 

2. Pryer’s Fradaikee Private Dancer ..good well shaped eye, very pleasing head, strong neck & shoulders, Good shoulders, excellent top line which she held on the move.

OB.2. 1. West’s Junetta Emilia 1. Pleasing head, & very kind eye, good size. Well placed shoulders, good spring of ribs , strong short loin, good rear angulation. Moved on good feet 

2. Cooper’s Hazean Donetsk Donet to Deifstock (ikc) good head & strong neck going into good shoulders, good ribs & strong loin, good hindquarters, moved on good feet .
