Pomeranian United Kingdom Toydog Society 28th March 2026

I would like to thank the committee of United Kingdom Toydog Society for the invitation to judge my loved breed. I was happy with my entry numbers as the numbers are becoming worryingly low.

I had very efficient stewards who kept the ring running smoothly. I was pleased to see no open fontanelles except in a dog under 12 months. Mouths seemed to have improved but my one concern was the size of the dogs was mainly acceptable a few who were on the large size but the area of most concern is the size of the bitches who are becoming smaller. Many bitches being smaller than the dogs.

1st Simmons Mrs C Ch PETITPOM LEGEND OF LOVE JW 7 year old orange sable who was in good coat on the day. Very pleasing head correct ear set and moved well. Attentive to the handler and was still enjoying his showing. Compact and high tail set with ample plume.

2nd Slough Mrs G SPECIAL EDITITION OF PERSIMOONE(Imp) JW VW 8 year old orange in good coat Pleasing head good mouth and small cat like feet. High tail set pushed 1 hard but preferred the size of 1.

2nd Holman Mrs C EMMETT THE SMALL STEPS AT ALTINA 8 Month old orange larger type than 1 but still a good type. Had a pleasing head with correct ear placement. Nice round barrel and moved well to and fro. Highest tail set with coat just starting to bloom.

2nd Niven Lewis Mr R ROSTELLARS OSENTATIOUS 13 month old orange this young dog caught my eye as he entered the ring. He had a delightful sweet head with high ear placement small in proportion. Well rounded barrel compact with highest of tail sets with plenty of plume. He was unsettled on the table which was a pity but I'm sure he will have a bright future

1st Holman's Mrs C DIVINITY TOUCH OF BROOKLYN AT ALTINA 12 month old orange sable. This young dog had a very pleasing head with captivating expression. In good coat with a short compact body well rounded barrel. His colour was a rich orange sable with the high tail set. Moved well to and fro attentive to the handler and had some good ring presence.

Lovely tight feet with the highest of tail sets and with an abundance of plume. Short, well rounded barrel who made a beautiful picture stood still. He moved well to and fro Happy to award him RDCC

2nd Baranzeck Mrs A VILLENELL'S CREAM CRUSH 8 year old cream. Longer in body than 1

Nice head moved well but her tail set was a little low. Good coat and nice cat like feet. Handled well by the exhibitor.

puppy. Good head with correctly placed small ears. Good barrel rib high set tail Well presented and handled. A lovely silhouette when stood.

22 month old orange bitch. This bitch had it all exquisite head with highest set small ears correct almond eye. Her expression was captivating correct scissor bite with darkest pigment. Harshest coat texture. Lovely round barrel tight cat like feet. Her tail had an abundance of plume high set and was carried straight over her back. A girl of good size not too small but at the same time not big. Very well presented and handled. A real pleasure to award her BCC

2 year old orange again in good coat. Her head was pleasing with good ear placement and correct dentition. Almond shaped eye with dark pigment. Straight tail with full plume Moved well to and fro. Another good sized bitch.
