Northern Counties Chihuahua Club
Championship Show 19th June 2026
I would like to thank the Officers & Committee for inviting me to award my first set of CCs in Longcoat Chihuahuas. It is always an honour to judge at a breed club. I was thrilled with my entry of 105 dogs! Thank you ever so much to the exhibitors for providing me with such a fabulous entry, which made a good few of the classes tricky work, with nit-picking being needed to find a class winner.
The majority of the dogs I judged were great examples of the breed. However there were a handful of poor mouths. I did not come across many overly short muzzles, but some were longer than I would prefer. The wind did affect some dog’s performances, which I allowed some wriggle-room for.
Thanks to my fantastic stewards, Chelsey & Mitzi, who kept the ring running as smoothly as possible.

2nd Lewis’s Tyssul Gentle Breeze
Another black tricolour! This one a 6.5 month old baby. She has a nice expression, well placed ears & good mouth. Her large white collar marking can make it appear she has too much neck, but this is not the case, so I hope future judges look closely. Nice backline & good set & shape of tail. Moved well.
