Thank you to the Officers and Committee of SKC for inviting me to judge at this prestigious and very well run show. My stewards, Shelagh McKenzie and Edith Wallace, made it a very entertaining day; you had a very long day and must have been exhausted. I am very grateful to the exhibitors for spending their hard earned cash by entering under me and for their support; you all took the best dog home. As a breed you are to be commended for your camaraderie and sportsmanship.

1ST 3733 - Sinsircariad Silver Bullet (Mr L & Miss C Armstrong & Roberts). A substantial boy with good markings and a lush coat. Wedge-shaped head with well set ears and a strong neck. Well ribbed with good depth, and he moved soundly. BPD but beaten by his litter sister for best puppy.

1ST 3770 - Tollpepper Celtic Zephyr (Mrs J M & Miss E K Trickett & O'connor). Nice type with correct wedge-shaped head, the muzzle tapering cleanly from a rounded skull, almond shaped eyes and high set medium ears. Straight front with tight feet and elbows close in, would prefer more lay of shoulder. Carries a firm, level topline and correct tail carriage both standing and on the move. In good, correct coat with a well feathered tail. Moves with a springy action.

1ST 3728 - Afonbach River Guardian (Ms A M & Miss A L Adshead). He won this class with his superb head carriage. I liked his head and expression and he has lovely pink pigmentation. Well boned straight front but would like tighter feet. Holds a firm level topline both stacked and on the move, good croup and tail set. Moved with reach and drive with a great tail action.

2ND 3761 - Danehaven Haha (Miss C Powley). Handsome head, good front assembly, neat feet, well sprung ribs, moved OK. Out of coat today.

1ST 3744 - Arelechen Galileo Figaro JW (Miss M J Davies). A quality male of correct type, presenting a balanced and workmanlike outline. He is moderately built throughout, showing good bone without heaviness. His head is clean and well proportioned, with a soft, alert expression and correct ear placement, giving true breed character. He has a well muscled neck flowing into well laid shoulders and a sound front. His body is well proportioned, with good spring of rib, a firm, level topline and a strong loin. Well made behind with good width to thigh, a well angled stifle and a correctly sloping croup, finished with a well set tail carried in typical fashion. Carries a straight dense coat with lovely feathering. On the move he is free and agile, covering the ground with ease and maintaining his outline, showing the lively, jaunty action characteristic of the breed. A worthy CC winner; his third I believe. Congratulations.

2ND 3755 - Riverwatcher Paluktak (Mr A & Mrs A Limerick). A dog I like very much and who was unlucky to come up against the winner today. Masculine head and alert expression, super front, moved well with drive and good head and tail carriage.

1ST 3749 - Delphox Guiser (Mr L Gibson). Lovely type with a gorgeous head and well balanced throughout. Correct proportions of muzzle to skull, with well set, medium sized ears. Strong neck into a well constructed front, with good bone and a deep chest. Straight front with tight elbows, a firm, level topline and moderate angulation fore and aft. Moved straight and true, maintaining shape. Finished with an excellent coat. RCC.

2ND 3776 - Ir Sh Ch Eusanit Proper Job JW (Mrs T M & Miss S Westwood). A quality, mature dog of excellent substance and balance. Strong, well-proportioned head with broad skull, well set ears and a kind, alert expression. Muscular neck into well laid shoulders with matching upper arm, giving a clean, well angulated front. Deep chest, good rib and correct underline. Short coupled with a strong loin and well muscled quarters, correct tail set and well let down hocks. Didn’t have the hind movement of the winner but was good in profile.

1ST 3747 - Sh Ch Schindow Junior Cowboy with Cretshengan (Mr P G & Mrs J Fielder). A quality dog for whom I have done well in the past. I love his size, shape and head and tail carriage. He is compact and well muscled, has an excellent front assembly, is well boned and very clean over the neck and shoulders. Plenty of depth and heart and lung room. His handsome head has the softest expression and he covers plenty of ground on the move. In lovely bloom. BVIB.

2ND 3762 - Danehaven Homathko (Miss C Powley). Needs to gain confidence and fill in front. She has a lovely slightly wedge shaped head, lovely ear set and soft expression. Compact body, tight feet.

1ST 3743 - Rosettia Lady Marmalade (Mrs H F & Mr M Dalton). Beautifully and quietly handled, this lovely bitch stood out for type and quality. She presents a balanced outline with a firm, level topline. Good through the front, with a well set neck flowing into well placed shoulders. She has a well proportioned body with good spring of rib, moderate tuck-up and strong quarters, showing good width to thigh. Excellent croup and correct tail set, her tail carried with typical, jaunty action. Her head is so pretty with a lovely friendly and alert expression, ears correctly set and carried very slightly erect at base. She carries a very well presented double coat with ample feathering. On the move she is lively and free, covering the ground well while maintaining her outline. A quality exhibit to whom I was delighted to award the CC and BOB.

2ND 3753 - Sawbridge Cairdeas JW (Mr C & Mrs K How). A taller girl of good make and shape. Decent front, lovely bone and fabulous round tight feet. Whilst I preferred the croup of the winner, she maintains a strong topline both stacked on and the move and has a moderate tuck up, good profile movement.

1ST 3729 - Afonbach Syrax JW (Ms A M & Miss A L Adshead). Balanced head but would prefer a slightly more almond shaped eye, strong muzzle, medium sized ears held well. Straight front, big ribs, lovely big bum. Her movement was classic holding a great shape with head held just above the level of her back.

2ND 3745 - Arelechen Mother Mercury (Miss M J Davies). A really nice girl presented in excellent coat and has a constantly wagging tail. Feminine head, well muscled throughout, great bend of stifle.

1ST 3775 - Eusanit Bay of Fundy (Mrs T M & Miss S Westwood). Her constantly moving tail and compact and powerful appearance took her to the top of this class and the RCC. Good bone and substance, plenty of heart and lung room, level topline, wide quarters and strong loin. She has a beautiful slightly wedge shaped head with an imploring expression in her almond shaped and correctly set eyes. Moves with reach and drive and typical springy gait.

2ND 3734 - Ir Sh Ch Coedhelyg Ho Pes and Dreams An Ch 25 Cjw25 Cw25/26 Ir/int Jch Jd (Ms J & Miss Sr Beaumont). Well made with a pretty head framed by high set ears held very slightly erect at the base. Well ribbed back, level topline, good bend of stifle, hocks well let down. Very well presented.

1ST 3727 - Afonbach Dance with Dragons JW (Ms A M & Miss A L Adshead). Balanced with wide thighs and well muscled quarters. Strong neck, well laid shoulders, strong topline. Clean cut skull, flat cheeks, moderate stop. Moved well; pity she didn’t get her tail up.

2ND 3738 - Melanitta Sinamay JW (Miss S E, Mr & Mrs J E Burgess). Presents a typical Toller shape, moderate length of neck, good angulation. Very jaunty on the move.
