PAPILLON
I would like to the thank the SKC for their invitation to judge Papillon’s at the above show, as well as the Stewards who worked hard for me enabling me to move the classes on and not least of all the exhibitors who brought their dogs to the show for my judging opinion. I had some lovely dogs to go over. Thank You.
I could see an improvement in the rear movement since I judged the breed some 2yrs ago whether this was due to being shown on a hard surface against a grass venue previous at my last appointment. However, I did notice the lack of hare feet and as its one of the characters of the breed lets get it back as it sets it apart from other breeds, we need to focus on keeping the hare foot. Also, the length of the structural tail on some where very short but overall, the presentation of all was good.
