Grateful thanks to the committee for giving me the opportunity to award my first set of CC's. I really enjoyed my day!
Many thanks to my 2 very capable stewards.
Finally, huge thanks to the exhibitors for bringing their lovely dogs for me to judge!

10 mths fawn baby of good size, lovely masculine head with dark eyes, high ear set, neck is of good length & he has well laid shoulders with good return of upper arm, nice level topline with adequate rear angulation, tail reaches the hock with a J coat texture was ok, colour developing, movement was sound & true coming & going with a lovely side gait, well balanced overall gained him Best Puppy over his equally lovely litter sister.

17 mths fawn of outstanding type & conformation, masculine head lovely dark eyes with a mischievous glint, correct scissor bite, neck of good length & nice arch leading to great front angulation, chest deep, excellent bone, superb level topline standing & moving, great rear angulation, long tail with a J, hocks lovely & parallel, coat texture really nice & coarse with added plus of being a super colour, his movement was strong, sound, with reach & drive, although still a junior I had no hesitation in awarding him his 2nd CC & BOB, his crown is imminent!

Two & a half year old fawn with a lovely masculine head, good dark eyes, scissor bite, ears well set & carried, neck is of good length with arch, shoulder placement correct as was return of upper arm, lovely bone, topline level standing & moving, rear angulation good, nice length of tail with J & carried correctly, Movement was steady & sound with good reach & drive, coat coming along nicely with coarse texture, would prefer a richer colour, but totally deserved the RDCC, I liked him a lot.

1st 7673 - Mr & Mrs Trevor & Angie Fieldsend Ch & Ir Ch Honey I'm Home Moravia Campanella At Starwell
This two & a half year old fawn boy really caught my eye on the first run round, good head, dark eyes, well set ears, lovely length of neck leading into good front angulation, deep chest, topline level on the stand but lost it slightly on the move, good strong bone, tail of good length with J, coarse coat of paler colour than I prefer ,but it was on the move that this boy outmoved the 2nd placed dog, powerful long reaching stride, well handled & close up to the RDCC.
2nd 7686 - Mrs N Rual - Keogh UK Ch Gilcoru Wolfblass D'brie
I was excited to see this well known 7 year old Ch had entered under me, hands on him everything was as it should be, masculine head, dark eyes, good scissor bite, decent length of neck leading to excellent front angulation, good bone, topline level, tail of good length with J, when asked to move unfortunately he lacked the reach drive & extension that I know he is capable of, seemed to be a tad lack lustre on the day & unfortunately paid the price.

Having had the pleasure of judging this 8 year old fawn boy before I was pleased to have the chance to judge him again.
Not the biggest of males, but he has a good head, with dark eyes, scissor bite, lovely ear set which he used well, neck of acceptable length leading into well placed shoulders slightly short in upper arm, good width & depth of chest, topline level but slightl slope to croup, hindquarters well angulated, tail of good length with J, lovely coarse coat of great colour, his movement is strong, with good reach & extension. Best Veteran Dog.
2nd - 7681 - Miss J A Parry Ch Stormymoon Untamed Irish
This 8 & a half year old black is impressive on the stand, great head dark eyes good scissor bite, neck of good length, front angulation good, chest deep & wide, topline level would like a tad more length of back, tail of good length but carried a bit high, coat texture lovely & coarse, didnt have the extension on the run round as the 1st placed dog, but altogether a good type.

1st - 7682 - Miss Jane A Parry Stormymoon Limited Edition
10 mths fawn litter sister to the Puppy Dog & has many of his qualities, beautiful head with the darkest of eyes, correct scissor bite, ears set well up on head, delightful expression, nice neck leading to good front angulation, chest ok for age, topline level, hind angles good, tail long with J when she relaxed, coat texture good & colour developing well, movement was steady & sound, just lost out to her brother for Best Puppy as he was a little more confident, but I really liked her.
2nd - 7689 - Miss G Trimnell Vallonne Magical Flame
11 months fawn who is still a tad raw at present, but has nothing to hide, pretty head with dark eyes, good scissor bite, ear set correct & well carried, lovely front, with correct shoulder & upper arm, topline ok but inclined to be a bit bum high, needs to drop slightly at the rear, but angulation is good, tail of great length with J, moved well with reach & drive, just needs time to settle into her frame, but a very promising puppy.

1st - 7679 - Mrs SA Kellett & Miss I Burrow Fostebrie Just Klassique Of Kellbry
21 months fawn who has a nice outline, good head with dark eyes, scissor bite, carried ears well, enough neck leading to good angulation, chest deep, topline level standing & moving, tail of good length with J, movement was sound with reasonable extension, just prefered her size to the 2nd placed girl.
2nd - 7692 - Mrs T Wescott Smith & Mr S Smith Sunrise Madison Dilorini With Rozimba Lux Jch (Imp Pol)
This 3 yr old fawn presented herself well, lovely head with dark eyes, good ear set, correct scissor bite, front angulation was correct & she stands on good bone, topline was level, great tail length & carried with the desired J, movement was steady but sound with good reach & drive, for me, I would just like a bit more of her, but I thought she was rather nice.

This 19 mnths black girl really took my eye & didnt disappoint on going over her, beautiful head with the darkest of eyes, lovely scissor bite, ears well set & carried, neck of good length with matching shoulder & upper arm angulation, enough bone, topline was mostly level but she does have a tendency to tuck her rear under her at times, tail of good length & carried ok, movement was a tad erratic but when she settled she had really good reach & drive with lovely extension, I seriously considered her for the CC but the Open Bitch winner was more settled.

1st - 7677 - Mr Max L & Mrs Storm Jones Stormfield Roisin
I make no apologies for saying how much I have admired this beautiful 8 & a half year old fawn lady, classic Briard type, strong but feminine head with dark eyes, correct scissor bite, ears well set & carried, perfect front angulation with hindquarters to match, a good deep chest, excellent bone, topline level standing & moving, tail of good length with J & held perfectly on the move, & my word can this girl move, such exceptional reach drive & extension, best mover of the day, coat texture was correct & a superb rich colour, just lacking furnishings to beat the dog for BOB, but I was so pleased to award her the CC making her a Champion, (subject to RKC confirmation)
2nd -7671 - Mr C & Mrs M Bithell Ch Gilcoru No Rules D'brie At Bourntwyn
2 & a half yr black that has a very pretty head, dark eyes, & good scissor bite, ears are well set & carried, lovely length of neck leading to a good depth of chest & front angulation, hind angles were good too, coat was of lovely texture & was well presented, tail was long with J,unfortunately she was dipping her topline on the stand, & didnt appear to be moving with the reach & drive that I was looking for & for me I prefer a slightly bigger type, but overall a very worthy Champion.
