VD (1) 1. DRING, Mrs Donna & DRING, Mr Shaun Ch Yelsek The One And Only, Very well proportioned, masculine D with excellent bone and substance Good length of rib, short loin, nice in shoulder, could have a stronger head and a bit more hind angulation. Well set tail, which he carried well when in the ring with others. RCC, BV

PD (1) 1. MCGILL, Miss S Casa Do Ricidio Jamie Via Winterkloud, Another very well proportioned, just off square, only a baby but loving his day in the ring. Could have a little more length of upper arm. Excellent muzzle, good bite. Loved his spring and depth of rib, just a little long in loin. Moving a little erratically today due to his exuberance. BP, Delighted to hear he was shortlisted in the puppy group

JD (2)1. JOHN, Mrs Chris Ankors Fraser River Among Cristakell A robust, curly, masculine dog. Excellent bone and substance. Strong muzzle, good bite but lacking frontal bones. Good depth and width of chest and also nice feet. Very erratic on the move today. Slightly longer cast than 2, well carried tail. Coat makes him look very big but underneath he is within standard size.

2. CRISP, Mr Steve Roy & CRISP, Mrs Kate Rarjo Harlequin. Good type, wavy black and white. Scored in head over 2, much better in skull, good bone and feet. Good in depth and spring of chest. Could carry his tail higher on the move.

PGD (1) 1. SMITH, Mrs Wendy & SMITH, Mr Nicholas Oldeely Swiss Etziken Rubin J-EW '26 J-LW ‘26. My star of the day, a lovely dog who has matured significantly since I last saw him, very well balanced, just off square with strong moderate neck. Good bone and feet, very good depth and spring of rib, nicely angulated both ways. Lovely eye, could perhaps have a stronger muzzle and more stop. Good frontal bones and width of skull. Well set and carried tail. Good width of thigh. Moved out soundly with an energetic light trot, filling the eye with a complete picture which won him the CC & BOB.

OD (2) 1st: 445 WILLIAMS, Mrs S Peixinho Caput Draconis JW. This was a tough class to judge. 2 dogs at each extreme of the standard for height, both moved well. 1 is a short dog, better balanced than 2 which had a little more length. Excellent bone, well presented curly coat. Good depth and spring to chest. A little short in muzzle. Could have carried his tail higher.

2. MARDLE, Mrs G R & BARTON, Mrs D A Auldhelm Charmed One. A little longer cast than 1 and I would prefer him just slightly bigger. Excellent depth of chest. Better proportioned head, strong muzzle and good width between the eyes. Preferred his hind quarters to 1 with good width to thigh.

SBB (2 )

1. RICHINGS, Mrs Christine Marguerite Barqueiro Amora, won on maturity. Lovely head, skull and expression, well balanced. Correct moderate length of neck, good bone and substance, could move out at bit more. Showed very well. BSB, so pleased to hear she was later 4th in the Special Beginners Group.

2. MOSS, Mrs Carole Winterkloud Sun Blessed, Only just 12 months old and lovely to see with this new exhibitor. Somewhat unruly to start with but settled more and more through the class and by her later class was going very well. A little longer cast than 1. Not quite the bone and substance of 1 and head needs to come but giving a lot away in age and maturity today.

VB (1 ) 1. MARDLE, Mrs G R & BARTON, Mrs D A Ch Auldhelm Bizzy Lizzie, 10 year old and one I have admired before. Brown wavy, still a rich colour. Very well balanced in outline. Lighter for bone than some but she is in a smaller frame. Strong muzzle, well proportioned head, good width between the eyes. Great depth and spring of rib, just could be a bit longer in rib. Strong hind quarters with fabulous long, well curved buttocks, well set and carried tail. Moved with purpose. Showing very well. She definitely earned the RBCC today.

JB (3 ) 1 HART, Mrs Harriet & HARRIS, Mr Danny Ankors Athabasca At Violaceae Another well proportioned bitch, Strong head, feminine expression, lovely dark attentive eyes with good frontal bones. Croup a little steep which can pull her hindquarters underneath her, however she moves with such enthusiasm that this does not hold her back. Tail well carried on the move. Good bone and feet and depth of rib. BJ, delighted to hear she went 2nd in the Junior Group.

2. MARDLE, Mrs G R & BARTON, Mrs D A Winterkloud Sun Kissed At Auldhelm, very similar to 1 and all positive comments apply here too, just a little longer in back and not quite so strong in skull. Preferred her hind quarters to 1.

3rd: 440 MOSS, Mrs Carole Winterkloud Sun Blessed

LB (1 ,1)

OB (4 ) A very nice class, all 4 beautiful girls.1. SLACK, Miss Megan & NEWTON, Ms Glenda & WILLIAMS, Ch, Swiss Sh Ch Rarjo Macduff Making Waves With Meg. One I have long admired and itched to get my hands on, she did not disappoint. Handled so well to show off her attributes. Robust, just off square, moderate, strong neck, nothing shelly here. Really excellent bone and substance, good spring and depth of rib, lovely, strong muzzle and skull, feminine expression, good pigment, good feet. Well set and carried tail. Great curve to buttocks. Just moving close behind today which lost her the BOB, a tad more bend of stifle would probably help this. CC, I understand this was her 17th which equals the BCC record, congratulations.

2. SMITH, Mrs Wendy & SMITH, Mr Nicholas Ir Ch Int Ch Swiss Oldeely Hope And Glory, larger slightly longer B. Moved well both ways, particularly behind which scored over 1. Strong skull, good in chest and bone. Just not quite so well balanced in outline as 1.

3. MARDLE, Mrs G R & BARTON, Mrs D A Auldhelm Candy Floss

4. BISS, Miss L A Ankors Aria
