1. Ferguson’s Fervaila Black Cuillin. Well presented tri of 16 months with masculine head, kind eye and expression, muzzle a little long for ideal, good lay of shoulder and straight forelegs, well padded feet and good depth to his chest, would have preferred better overall body proportions and better length to his tail but he moved out with a free active stride.

2. Clough’s Evad Lite Breeze. This 5½ year old male appealed more for breed type especially in his head, well placed ears and better balance in head properties, not the layback of shoulder I was looking for although he had good depth to his chest and straight forelegs with tidy feet, he had more ideal body proportions than 1 but another with a short tail, presented in lovely coat and condition.

1. Stafford’s Ch. Rannerdale Showmaster JW. Outstanding male of 7½ years not showing any signs of ageing and presented in the most beautiful coat and condition, loved his blunt wedge shaped head and appealing expressive dark almond eye, he had a flat skull and cheeks with well set ears, good arch of neck leading into a super front assembly with good depth to his chest, correct body proportions, level back and well sprung ribs, nothing to dislike about this mature gentleman and pleased to award him the RDCC & BV.

2. Goodwin/Simpson’s Highbrook Hobnob JW. Another eye-catching well balanced male of 8½ years presented in excellent coat and well muscled condition, well set ears and expressive dark almond eye, well laid shoulder with good return of upper arm, good depth to his chest and ribs well sprung, he was appealing in outline both standing and moving, good croup and well set tail and carriage, lovely male with lots of quality.

3. Sutherland’s Shougies Starmaker at Suthesley.

1. Walker’s Tooralie’s Game O’Fortune. Promising shaded sable of 7½ months, masculine head with lovely expressive dark eye, wedge shaped head with flat skull and well set ears, he had arch to his neck leading into a well placed front, sound body proportions, straight forelegs and lovely oval well padded feet, tail was of good length and well carried, he was a little unsettled at first moving but when he relaxed he showed some excellent free movement, BP.

2. Robinson’s Lavika Stormbreaker. Tri of 8 months where I would like a little more masculinity in his head, well placed ears, eye of good set and colour, good arch of neck but I preferred the shoulder placement of 1, sound body proportions with straight forelegs and firm oval feet, muscled hindquarters with well let down hocks, his movement was a little unsettled today, his coat was in excellent condition.

1. Whitchurch’s Emmaview Lord of Rings. Blue merle of 10 months, masculine head although it could be more balanced as he was a little long in muzzle for ideal, he presented a decent shape overall with good spring to his rib and some depth to his chest, he could be tidier in his front movement coming towards but did show steady movement in profile, presented in good coat and condition.

2. Bray’s Lianbray Launcelot. Sable of 11½ months where I preferred his more ideal head proportions and expression, well set ears, eye of good colour, he had decent shoulder placement and good depth to his chest, could have more spring to his rib but he looked fairly balanced on the stand, however on closer inspection this dog lacked a lot of condition, he needs far more weight and muscle tone to further improve.

1. Jeavons’ Grandgenes Panning for Gold JW. Really lovely shaded sable of 16 months presented in tip top condition, he had the most expressive wedge shaped head with well set ears and dark almond eye, arched neck set into a pleasing front assembly, straight forelegs and well padded oval feet, good depth to his chest and neat elbows, lovely proportions with firm top-line, balanced and free on the move, confident of a promising career ahead of him. 

2. Robinson’s Dippersmoor Starmaker for Lavika. Another lovely example, sable of 17 months, expressive masculine head with well set ears and dark kind eye, lovely shape to his head, arched neck into a well placed shoulder, straight forelegs and firm oval feet, good overall body proportions, well set and carried tail, not quite as settled as 1 on the move today but presented in excellent coat and condition.

1. Robertson’s Edglonian Edge of Glory of Vidlinvoe. Lovely sable male of 19 months with a very expressive masculine head, well placed ears and lovely dark eye, straight forelegs with oval well padded feet, good depth to his chest and well sprung rib, firm top-line, strong hindquarters and one of the very few dogs carrying correct muscle, he had a lovely outline both standing and moving and once settled showed some steady free movement, in excellent coat.

2. Gartland’s Arcot Polished Black JW. Beautifully presented tri male of 2 years, lovely expressive head with well placed ears and dark eye, he was a balanced picture standing and on the move, lovely arch to his neck with well placed shoulder, good depth of chest and neat elbows, good spring to his rib and well muscled hindquarters, he moved with a free ground covering gait.

3. Walker’s Cuilshelties Touch of Class with Grandgenes.

1. Stafford’s Rannerdale Jammy Dodger. Sable male of just 22 months, he ticked all the boxes for breed type, loved his masculine expressive head with eye of good colour and set, well placed ears and a lovely wedge shaped head, nice arch to his neck leading into a pleasing front assembly, he had lovely straight forelegs and oval well padded feet, he had ideal body proportions with good depth and shape to his rib, firm top-line and well muscled hindquarters aided his free flowing movement, lovely tail set and carriage, delighted to award him the DCC which I believe was his 3rd, congratulations, loved his ‘all about me’ attitude in the challenge for BOB, he won his argument!

2. Jeavons’ Grandgenes Play The Game JW. Another lovely sable male of 2 years, full of quality and promise, gorgeous head with well placed ears, flat skull and cheeks, balanced head proportions, lovely arch to his neck with well placed front and good depth to his chest, straight forelegs, neat oval feet, his body proportions were ideal and he presented a perfectly balanced picture standing and moving, strong well muscled hindquarters with well let down hocks, good width in his thigh which wasn’t evident in some today, excellent movement, just not quite the finish of 1 today.

3. Winfield’s Oakcroft The Mandalorian JW.

1. Sorockyj’s Padawan Mandalorian. Eye-catching sable male of 5 years, lovely masculine expressive head with dark eye and balanced head properties, could have used his ears a little better today to capture a better expression, nicely arched neck leading into a well placed shoulder, he had good depth to his chest and neat elbows, I liked his balanced body proportions with good spring to his rib, firm top-line with good croup and well carried tail, moved out with a steady free ground covering stride, presented in excellent coat and well muscled condition.

2. Robinson’s Multi Ch. Lavika Moonlight Storm JW. Attractive tri of 4 years, masculine head with a lovely expressive dark eye and well set ears, he presented a lovely outline standing and moving, strong arched neck into a well set shoulder with good depth in chest and well sprung rib, firm top-line, excellent rear quarters with well let down hocks, good tail set and carriage, moved out well.

3. Winfield’s Ch. Lirren Quickstep to Oakcroft JW.

1. Jackson’s Kishdigra An Irish Blessing for Clairavelle JW (IKC). Pretty sable bitch of 21 months, expressive head with well placed ears and dark eye, good neck and well placed shoulder with neat elbows, good depth in her chest and well ribbed, balanced standing and on the move, presented in excellent coat and well muscled condition, moved out with a free confident stride, BSpB.

2. Simpson’s Highbrook Hotpants. Ultra feminine sable bitch of 22 months, lovely expressive eye with well placed ears, balanced head properties, arched neck and well placed shoulder, straight forelegs with firm oval feet, well ribbed back with good spring, she moved out with an easy free stride, just lacked the condition and muscle tone of 1.

1. Hateley’s Ch. Mohnesee Sweet Dreams JW VW. Very sweet sable bitch of 8½ years with a divine temperament, so feminine in her head with the sweetest of expression, well placed ears, dark eye and lovely wedge shaped head, good arch of neck leading into a sound shoulder placement with good depth to her chest, lovely spring of rib and firm top-line, lovely balance standing and moving, she carried herself well with a light footed free stride. 

2. Welford’s Ch. Ristine Emerald VW. Beautifully presented tri of 8 years, very feminine and very balanced in her angles, wedge shaped head with lovely ear placement and dark almond eye aiding a sweet expression, she presented a lovely outline on the stand and moving, she had pleasing body proportions with a firm top-line, lovely tail set and carriage, presented in excellent coat.

3. Shaw’s Bramblecroft Reeba at Bluequarry.

1. Winfield’s Oakcroft Copacabana. Promising sable bitch of just 8 months, lovely expressive head when she used her ears, wedge shaped head with lovely dark eye, flat skull and cheeks, slight stop, arched neck and well placed shoulder, straight forelegs with firm oval feet, liked her balance all through, well ribbed with good spring, lovely muscle in her hindquarters, she moved with a free light footed gait.

2. Hanson’s Hillhenry Conspiracy with Basilbrooke. Shaded sable of just 6½ months presented in a lovely coat, she had a feminine expression with balanced head properties, her ears could settle, dark eye, good neck and well placed shoulder, neat elbows, straight forelegs with tidy oval feet, liked her balanced body proportions, she presented a nice outline standing and moving.

3. Gartland’s Arcot Adorable.

1. Sapsford’s Shelcrest Band of Gold. Sable bitch of 10 months who was initially a little apprehensive but she soon settled, lovely feminine head with expressive eye and well placed ears, could stand a little straighter in front, she had a nice arch to her neck leading into a pleasing front assembly, well ribbed back with good spring, firm top-line, well set tail which she carried correctly, in excellent coat.

2. Gartland’s Arcot Adorable. And aptly named! Sable of just 6½ months, very raw but has lots of promise and she took it all in her stride today, most feminine head with well placed ears that just need to settle, gorgeous expressive dark eye, she had balanced angles front and rear and she was a real picture standing and moving, she just needs time which maturity will address, in lovely coat and condition. 

3. Ayres’ Gemette Gotta Mocha.

1. Goodwin/Simpson’s Highbrook Hint of Honey. Ultra feminine sable bitch of 13 months, lovely expressive head with dark eye and well set ears, wedge shaped head with balanced head properties, she had a good neck leading into a well placed shoulder, depth to her chest and neat elbows, sound in top-line with a well carried tail of good length, excellent hindquarters with well let down hocks, moved beautifully.

2. Symons’ Sendora Skylark. Blue merle of 13 months, feminine head and expression with well placed ears, a little narrow standing in front, nice arch to her neck, not quite the shoulder angulation of 1, she had good depth to her chest with well sprung rib, neat elbows, well muscled rear quarters with good tail carriage, a lovely balanced shape standing and on the move.

3. Mottram’s Grandgenes Designed in Gold for Lochkaren.

1. Raaf’s Stormraven Shadoswift. Liked this 2 year old pretty sable bitch, she was feminine in her head with well placed ears and lovely expressive eyes, wedge shaped head, good reach of neck, well laid shoulder and sound top-line, straight forelegs and tidy oval feet, liked her outline standing and on the move, she was balanced throughout with good angles and well let down hocks, well muscled in her rear aiding free movement, in lovely coat and condition. 

2. Thomas’ Myter Lunar Eclipse. Another lovely example of this charming breed, a tri at 3 years full of lovely qualities, very nice expression with her well set ears and charming dark eyes, arched neck leading into a well laid back shoulder, firm in her top-line, good spring of rib and well muscled rear quarters, good tail set and carriage, she could lose a little bit of weight to improve her overall picture.

3. Cheal’s Valdosta Galadriel at Faemadra JW.

1. Robinson’s Lavika Sign of The Time. 3 year old sable bitch of good breed type who looked like she would show all day, beautiful expressive wedge shaped head which was feminine with dark eyes and well placed ears, lovely arch to her neck and well laid shoulder, good depth of chest, neat elbows and good spring to her rib, she was a lovely balanced outline standing and brought this altogether on the move to produce fluid ground covering movement, in beautiful condition and carried correct muscle, pleased to award her the BCC.

2. Stafford’s Rannerdale Coco Pop. Another lovely sable bitch of 22 months, who I now see is the litter sister to my DCC winner, she had many of his same attributes in a feminine form and she shows lots of promise, sweet feminine head with expressive dark eye and well placed small ears, lovely arched neck into a super front assembly, lovely outline standing, sound top-line and well carried tail, she was a little unsettled on the move today.

3. Hateley’s Mohnesee’s Meliya JW.

1. Pearson’s Ch. Edglonian Slack Alice. Quality sable bitch of 5 years, a little out of coat which was by no means of negative note, you could truly appreciate her shape and overall qualities, lovely feminine expressive wedge shaped head with well placed ears and lovely dark eye, arched neck leading into a well placed shoulder, neat elbows, straight forelegs of good bone with tidy oval feet, liked her outline on the stand, she moved with a lovely clean light footed stride, presented and handled to perfection, RBCC.

2. Robinson’s Ch. Lavika Lateca. 4 year old sable bitch, a lovely example and ticks many boxes for breed type, feminine expressive head with a lovely dark eye and well set ears, slight stop and lovely wedge shaped head, liked her arched neck and well placed shoulder, straight forelegs, neat elbows, good spring of rib and sound top-line, she carried herself well around the ring with a positive free stride, presented in excellent coat and condition.
