Thank you to Crufts Committee for inviting me to judge German Pinschers and award the first set of CC’s in the UK. It was an honour and a privilege. Congratulations to everyone who worked so hard for the breed reach CC level. 

Over the last few years, I have watched the breed increase not just in numbers but also in quality. Thank you to the exhibitors who entered not just from the UK but also from overseas. The quality of my entry was fantastic. 

I would also like to thank my stewards who looked after me so well on the day and kept my ring running smoothly.

1ST - Danixaris Daydreamer (Miss C Lowe) 

 Smart red male with a wedge-shaped head and dark eyes with tight eye rims. Enough length to neck and firm topline. Good front assembly with correct angulation and forechest. Hindquarters well angled with good turn of stifle. Such a sound mover. 

 2ND - Inxs Carbon Copy for Remikz (Miss S & Mr D Baker & Lodge)

11-year-old but I don’t think anyone has told him his age. Black and tan with a masculine wedge-shaped head with good expression. Firm topline and well angled hindquarters. Moving with drive from the rear but preferred the front action from the class winner.

1ST - Dexterity Enthusiastic Crush for Danixaris (Miss D Lewczuk)

Quality masculine puppy of correct size and bone for age. Wedge shaped head with deep muzzle and dark eyes. Good front angulation and firm topline and deep chest to close fitting elbows. Strong hindquarters. Moving with ground covering strides

1ST - Danixaris Flame of Glory (Mr A & Miss D Mordacz & Lewczuk)

Exciting 17-month-old male with a masculine wedge-shaped head and strong muzzle. Good length of neck into excellent front assembly with well laid shoulders and forechest. Lovely compact, short coupled body with firm topline and shown in hard muscle. Moving with good reach on the front and driving action from the rear.

2ND - Danixaris Firestorm (Mr A & Miss D Mordacz & Lewczuk)

Another smart male with excellent shaped head, firm topline and well angulated hindquarters with good bend of stifle. Moving so well in profile.

 Strong masculine Black and tan with an elegant yet strong neck into well-laid shoulders and compact body with deep chest and firm topline. Well angled hindquarters and moving well. 

2ND - Maxally’s Albus (Miss K & Mr M Unsworth & Williams)

 Lovely wedge-shaped head to this male with dark oval eyes. Would prefer better ear set. Strong neck of good length. Would prefer a deeper chest and firmer topline.

1ST - Falkor's Artax (Miss L Henderson)

 Quality 5-year-old red male with super head and expression. Enough length of neck into excellent front assembly with good forechest, deep chest and close-fitting elbows. Compact, short coupled body with firm topline. Well-muscled hindquarters with good bend of stifle and straight hocks. Moving with excellent reach from the front and drive from the hind action.

 2ND - Danixaris Equinox (Mrs J & Mr G Fettes)

 Black and tan male with a lovely masculine well shaped head and well-set ears folding down close to the head. Good length of neck into his well angled front with parallel front legs. Deep chest down to close fitting elbows. A little longer in body than 1. Standing on excellent feet

1ST - Int/multi–Ch Smarty Pants Wot A Thriller Lux Jch Eujw22 Ljw22 (Ms D Gamble)

A strong, masculine four-year-old male who was very well made. He had a strong head with parallel planes, a deep muzzle, dark oval eyes, and correctly placed, high-set ears folding close to the head. His arched neck flowed into well-laid shoulders, with parallel forelegs and close-fitting elbows. He had excellent forechest extending beyond the point of shoulder.

His compact, well-proportioned body featured a slightly sloping topline, balanced angulation, and a good turn of stifle. On the move, he displayed excellent, balanced reach and drive. It was a pleasure to award him the first male CC.

2ND - Falkor Stand and Deliver (Mr A & Mrs J M Ellis)

A smart, clean-cut three-year-old male of correct size and proportions. He had a masculine, wedge-shaped head with dark, medium-sized eyes, parallel head planes, and a good muzzle. His clean neck flowed into a compact body with a firm topline. Parallel forelegs, a chest reaching down to close-fitting elbows, and correctly shaped ribs completed the picture.

Strong, well-angulated hindquarters contributed to his lovely, sound movement. Very well handled and presented. He pushed hard throughout the class but had to settle for the RCC today.

9 ½ year old smart red male with lovely clean lines. Wedge shaped head with dark oval eyes and good pigmentation and parallel planes. Arched neck into well placed shoulders and well angulated front and parallel legs. Deep chest and firm topline. Well angulated hindquarters and such a sound mover. Shown in excellent condition. Best veteran in breed

2ND - Goodsouls Mr Brightside (Mr D & Miss E Gilder & Duncan)

 Smart, clean outlines to this compact 9-year-old black and tan male. Good neck into Firm topline and balanced angulation. Moving with reach and driving action from the hindquarters.

Smart 3‑year‑old female with the darkest oval eyes and a well‑proportioned head. She has a good length of neck flowing into well‑laid shoulders and a strong front assembly with correct angulation and forechest. Her firm topline, chest to close‑fitting elbows and well‑arched feet give her a clean, balanced outline. Moving with ground‑covering strides and a rotary hind action, she shows both reach and drive.

2ND - Goodsouls Rumour Has It It's Falkor (Mr A & Mrs J M Ellis)

At nearly 9 years of age, this young lady is still looking well. She has a well‑shaped head, enough length to her clean neck and a firm, unbroken topline. I would prefer a little more angulation and forechest, but she has good parallel forelegs and tight feet. Her compact body and strong hindquarters complete the picture. Such a sound mover, holding her topline at all times.

1ST - Kariwight's Little Aurora (Mrs K Harvey-Miller)

Beautiful 7‑month‑old red female with a wedge‑shaped head, dark oval eyes and lovely ears set high and folding neatly to the head. She presents a clean outline with a firm topline and well‑angulated hindquarters. Such a sound mover, already showing excellent promise for her age. I could not resist awarding her Best Puppy in Breed.

1ST - Danixaris Fabulous Zee (Miss V J Turrell)

Very pretty black‑and‑tan female with a well‑shaped head and deep, well‑filled muzzle. She has a clean neck flowing into an excellent front assembly and stands on well‑arched, cat‑like feet. Strong hindquarters complete the picture. A sound mover both coming and going. 

2ND - Danixaris Fanta (Miss L & Mr M Robson & Adamson)

 Litter sister to 1 and another very pretty female with a wedge‑shaped head and parallel planes. This red girl has a square outline with balanced angulation and good feet. She just needs to settle to show her full potential.

1ST - Unforgettably Remember All (Mr J Neame)

Smart dark red female with a well‑proportioned head and the darkest brown oval eyes. Her ears are well set and carried correctly. She is compact with balanced angulation and moves with both reach and drive, showing an easy, efficient action.

2ND - Brintala’s Girl On Fire (Mrs J Knight)

 Beautiful head on this red female, with dark oval eyes, level head planes and a strong, well‑filled muzzle. She has a good length of neck leading into a firm, unbroken topline. Moving well, showing a clean, easy action.Beautiful girl, just preferred the front angulaton of 1.

1ST - Maxally’s Andromeda (Mr S & Mrs S C J Hayter)

Very pretty female, made so well with a pleasing head and expression. She has a compact body with balanced angulation, a deep chest to the elbow and flat ribs. Her front is clean and parallel, finished with well‑arched, cat‑like feet. A beautiful mover—light, effortless and true.

2ND - Falkor Poetry in Motion (Mrs K & Mr S & Mrs J Lawrence & Lawrence & Ellis)

Very pretty, compact black‑and‑tan female with a correct height‑to‑length ratio. She holds a firm topline and shows a straight, clean front. On the move she is sound on the up and back, with reaching strides and an easy, balanced action on the go‑around.

1ST - Cro/lux Ch Brintala Angel Lynn Ww 24 (Mrs K E Wakefield)

Absolutely stunning female of correct size, bone and proportions. She presents a beautiful wedge‑shaped head with level planes, dark oval eyes, well‑set ears and excellent pigmentation. Her arched neck flows cleanly into well‑laid shoulders. She has an excellent front assembly with a defined forechest, parallel front legs and tight elbows. The chest is deep to the elbows with well‑sprung ribs.

Her topline is firm and her tail set is exactly as the breed demands. The hindquarters are well angulated with a good bend of stifle. She is such a sound mover on the up and back, showing ground‑covering strides in front and strong drive from behind.

A pleasure to award her the BCC and Best of Breed. Watching her in the group ring was a joy—she represented the breed with real quality and presence.

2ND - Int/n/se/dk/slo/ger/fin Ch Sommarstadens Hegemon Hera Akstaria Int/n Jch Nv-25 Sv-25 Jww-24 (Miss O R Akselsen)

This 3‑year‑old female pushed hard throughout the class for top honours. She shows excellent breed type with a beautiful head and expression, and a good length of neck flowing into well‑placed shoulders. Her front and forechest are excellent, and she maintains a firm topline at all times, presenting a totally balanced outline.

On the move she shows good reach in front and powerful drive from the hindquarters. Expertly handled and presented in excellent condition. RBCC.
