1ST Sh Ch Hernwood Achilles at Ettrick JW VW (Mr A J & Mrs D A Harker) Put down in fabulous condition, well muscled and toned throughout. He has depth to his muzzle, a bright brown eye and a gently rounded skull giving an overall quality to his head. Balanced angulation with fill to his forechest which was missing in a lot today. On the move he covered the ground showing a lovely profile action and a firm topline. BV
2ND Locksheath Beach Comber (Mrs S Gregg) Compact dog, I liked his size and bone, he has a soft, masculine head with a kind eye. Balanced in angulation with a good spring to his rib. On the move he showed a good profile action but a touch close behind today.

1ST Benbuie The Last Hurrah (Mrs A New) Standing this puppy has a lovely make and shape, clear in tan with a bright eye and cheeky expression. He did make it difficult for me to get my hands on him but thankfully I managed to get over him eventually. Very much a handful for his owner on the move but a change of handler certainly made a difference and later in the challenge he put on an impressive performance which earned him BPD

1ST Cottonstones Dawn Treader by Brobruick (Mr C & Mrs S A Mitchell) Very promising youngster just up on his legs at the moment. He has a balanced head with a lovely dark eye set off by a well shaped skull and lowset ear. His neck flows into his shoulder, pleasing flat bone and oval feet. Well muscled rear gave drive, he just needs to tighten in front as at the moment he has a traditional puppy action.

Both were a bit of a handful today
1ST Rhiwgerrig Caractacus by Melview (Mrs L Hall) Typey moderately sized dog with the correct amount of bone and well shaped feet. He has a kind eye, good length to his foreface but his stop and backskull just need to settle and finish as I would expect them to. Good layback to his shoulder and he has a nicely angled front which balanced with his rear. He held a strong topline on the move and once settled showed an excellent profile action.
2ND Hernwood Master Blaster TAF (Mr P & Mrs C A & Mr J K & Mrs G T Sandiford & Sandiford & Beagle & Beagle) Well built boy with a gentle expression, deep in muzzle and dark in eye. He has plenty of bone and good depth to his rib, he does tend to drop off at the croup at the moment but is still growing up. He really gave his handler a workout but showed reach and really covered the ground.

1ST Caradilis Fiach Dubh (Mrs S Gregg) Another standard sized dog with a well shaped brown eye, he is a touch strong in stop for me but has a slightly rounded backskull and lowset ear. He has a good length to his neck and depth to his chest but tended to hunch his shoulders slightly when standing. He had a strong topline and firm coupling leading to a good width of thigh and muscled rear which he put to good use on the move.
2ND Hero Majestic Manon Lescaut Yennadon (Imp Cze) (Ms M J Halliday) A young dog who still needs to mature and finish but he is very promising in outline. Balanced masculine head with a soft expression, firm through the neck leading to a well made front assembly with depth to his rib. His strong, well shaped rear has excellent muscle which gave him great drive, a touch on the light side weight wise today.
3RD Kewstoke Ocean Commander at Glendudmoor (Mr I & Miss L A & Mrs E A F Robson)

1ST Caradilis Sky Rocket JW (Ms M Morgan) Correct size and substance to this boy showing lovely flat bone and deep well developed body. His head is definitely masculine but the strength of skull is softened by a well shaped brown eye and long lowset ear. He has a cracking front assembly with good fill to his forechest, strong through his topline to a broad rear. On the move his power came from the hock which was pleasing to see, clean and tidy in all directions.
2ND Burroughtof Loch Leven at Glenarden (Mrs E M Ede) A very different type of boy who has such a delightful head with a good length of muzzle, chiselling under the eye and well shaped skull. Strong through the neck with a good layback of shoulder and depth of rib. He has a strong topline which he kept on the move, not as developed in rear as his front and this showed on the move where he had a good reach in profile.

1ST Sh Ch Cafotaliena Thief of Hearts by Brobruick JW (Mr C & Mrs S A Mitchell) What a handsome boy he is, stood out as soon as he entered the ring and demanded attention. Such a beautiful masculine head with a gentle, melting expression, good stop and correct width to his skull, well set ears. Flowing arched neck leading to a fabulous front assembly with plenty of fill in his forechest. He has balanced angulation throughout with a lovely deep body and well sprung ribs leading to a firm coupling and well muscled rear. He did try to pull away from his handler on the move but simply swapping him to the other side stopped this and he moved out covering plenty of ground. Put down in tip top condition with a rich, clear tan to finish the picture CC
2ND Sh Ch Red Admiral by Rubymoon JW (Mr K D & Mrs C E Butler) Another lovely boy who pushed my winner hard. He is a standard sized compact dog with plenty of bone and tidy oval feet. He too has a quality head, well balanced with chiselling under the eye and a correctly shaped skull. Everything about him is so well balanced with a laidback shoulder, good fill to his forechest and depth to his rib. His strong well shaped rear gave plenty of drive covering the ground well. I would prefer a clearer tan but I could not deny his quality RCC.

1ST Dj Bee Black Ivy (Imp Pol) (Mrs K Clark) Well schooled bitch with a kind eye and good length of muzzle. She has a tidy outline with enough bone for her size and shown in excellent muscletone. On the move she covered the ground showing a good profile action.
2ND Bonnienicht’s Aurora Blaze (Mr D & Mrs H Crowsley) Mature bitch with a feminine head and bright eye. She is balanced throughout with pleasing bone. She lacked enthusiasm on the move but her steady action was without fault.

1ST 1738 - Sh Ch Cairacailie Night of Love with Ordett JW (Mrs Y Slaughter) Striking bitch in amazing condition for over 9 years of age. She has the most beautiful head and expression with bright expressive eyes, chiselled underneath them and a gently rounded skull. Her firm neck flows to well set on shoulders and well made front. She has substance with good depth of rib and a level topline standing and move. She is an effortless mover despite her years covering the ground well.
2ND Dt Ch Locksheath Princess Tiana JW (Mr K Whiting) Classical headed bitch with a lovely muzzle and bright eye. She has a good length of neck and laidback shoulder just not quite the forechest of my winner. She is presented in fit condition with depth and spring of rib. On the move she showed a lovely profile with drive.

1ST Empyreal Desert Tempest at Glenmaurangi (Imp Can) (Ms T & Mrs T & Mrs A Watkins & Craft & Phillips) This girl has naughtiness in buckets, her bright eye, full of mischief is set in a well balanced head with depth of muzzle and nicely shaped skull. She is a pleasure to go over with lovely angulation front and rear and strong flat bone. Presented in toned, muscled condition she moved with plenty of verve and enthusiasm but when she settled she showed great co-ordination for one so young BP and went ont on to PGroup 4

1ST Waseley Hazy Dayz (Mrs K G Sweryda) Stood alone but a worthy winner, a pretty, feminine bitch presented in excellent coat and condition. She has a kind eye, good length and depth to her muzzle which is balanced out well by a softly rounded skull and lowset ear. She has a laidback shoulder with a good length of upperarm but just needs to fill in forechest as I would expect at this age. Strong topline and firm coupling lead to a broad well muscled rear which gave ground covering drive.
Yearling Bitch
A strong class my top three are all really promising youngsters

1ST Laurelhach Lotus with Muckypups JW (Mrs T Bryant) Loved the make and shape of this girl, she has a strong outline with lovely substance. She has a good length to her muzzle and correct brown eye, just a touch strong in stop at the moment but has correct width to her skull. Her firm neck leads into a well set shoulder with length to her upperarm and fill to her forechest. She has depth to her body and is well ribbed up. Lovely muscletone throughout giving strong, steady movement.
2ND Amscot She’s No Angel (Mrs J Collins-Pitman) I really liked the look of this girl on the stand, she is of good size and substance with a pretty chiselled head and dark eye. She flows through the neck and shoulder with depth and spring to her rib under a strong topline. Balanced in angulation and put down in lovely condition. She let herself down on the move making it a race with her handler, running into her lead and throwing herself off balance.

1ST 1746 - Locksheath April in Paris (Mr K Whiting) Dainty bitch with a pleasing outline. She is very feminine with a gentle expression and dark eye. She is well put together with enough rib for her size. I would like a little bit more of her but what is there is very pleasing to go over and she moved out steady and very tidy.
2ND 1708 - Bonnienicht’s Aurora Blaze (Mr D & Mrs H Crowsley) (repeat)

1ST 1724 - Kilnrae Back to The Future JW (Mrs K M Marsh) True settery outline so balanced in shape. She has a classic head, well balanced with a pleasing brown eye and width to her skull. Elegant through the neck and shoulder with good forechest and depth of rib. She has a firm topline and is well ribbed up underneath. Her rear needs to strengthen up a little to match her front but I’m sure that will happen in time. Moved at just the right pace to show off her clean, ground covering action.
2ND 1699 - Harley Manon Lescaut Yennadon (Imp Cze) (Mrs N Ackerley-Kemp) Feminine bitch of correct size with a classical outline. She has a pleasing head with good length to her foreface and chiselling under the eye. Strong and firm through the neck with balanced angulation and a nice fill to her front. She held her topline on the move but was not as toned in muscle as my winner, I later learned she was recently off a litter which explained things.
3RD 1741 - Chartan Little Black Dress (Mrs S P Thomas)

1ST 1731 - Amscot Air of Success at Boyers (Miss J Osborn) The moment I saw this girl stacked up I fell for her, she so reminded me of the magnificent bitches I admired when I first started in the breed, especially those from the great Inkersall kennels. She has a beautifully elegant classic outline, her head is so feminine, balanced in proportion with lovely chiselling under a soft brown eye and the skull is just the right length and shape. Her neck flows smoothly into a lovely layback of shoulder with a complimentary return of upperarm. Deep, well sprung ribs under a strong topline lead on through a firm coupling to a broad well shaped rear which when all put together meant she really covered the ground showing lovely reach and drive. Put down in fabulous condition with gleaming black coat and a rich tan meant I could not deny her the CC and ultimately BOB
2ND 1737 - Eusanit Marcella at Hernwood (Mr P & Mrs C A & Miss D Sandiford & Sandiford & Mazzeo) Although a different type to my winner this girl is certainly out of the top draw. She has a striking head, nicely balanced with a lovely dark eye and soft expression, deep in muzzle and clean under the eye. She is rugged in outline but still with an elegance to her, firm through the neck and shoulder with a good fill to her forechest, she has bone to match her size and a lovely depth to her rib. At one with her handler she really showed off her clean, driving movement. Pushed the winner hard just had to settle for the RCC today. One I will certainly watch in the future.
3RD 1718 - Cafotaliena Hello My Love (Miss N C & Miss C Hardy)

1ST 1733 - Am Grchs/can Ch Fenwyck's Glamour (Mrs S. & Dr M. Patterson) This bitch was a joy to go over, her conformation is fabulous with near perfect angulation. She is well up to size with bone and substance to match. Deep in muzzle, just a little throaty, with clean cheeks, a bright, well shaped eye and good width between her ears. She has plenty of rib under a strong topline and broad well muscled thighs. In amazing coat and condition she was so well schooled standing and moving, never putting a foot wrong. When it came to the top awards I just preferred the refinement of my winners today.
2ND Roydack Portrait of A Lady (Mrs S & Miss H Upton-Lovett & Upton) Typey bitch who was unlucky to come up against 1st in such top form today. She has a pretty head with a good length to her foreface and a cheeky expression. Strong through the neck, balanced in angulation throughout with deep ribs and muscled rear. She moved out well just not covering the ground like my winner.
