very pleased with my entry of 15 with just one absent for this, my favourite hound breed. Thank you to all who gave me an entry, I was not disappointed by the quality in front of me.

MPD (2) 1 and RBD, BP and PG3 Callows Whittimere Spexy Beast a 7mth d with a pleasing head and dark oval eye emitting a friendly expression, strong neck into well placed shoulders, compact in body with a short loin and firm topline to high set well curled tail and standing true behind on straight hocks, on the moves he covers the ground freely and easily whilst holding his shape. He works so well with his handler who knows how to get the best from him. I have a feeling this young man will be titled early in his career as I couldn’t really fault him on his construction or movement although he could still come together just a little more in front. I was delighted to see him placed in a very good puppy group 2 Middletons Bowerhinton Belvedere Gold At Graythor another nice youngster with a good wedge head although a fraction longer in muzzle than the winner and small neat ears, he has a very good front, standing on strong bone and nice tight feet, ample depth of chest and close fitting elbows, not quite the topline of the winner today but covers the ground soundly and evenly.

LD (1) 1 Stephensons Kamgaard Kyffin For Brawdor a well presented dog, pleasing in outline with a lovely head and expression coming from dark well placed oval eyes, neck is of ample length and he stands true in front on compact feet with a good depth of chest and firm topline to a high set well curled tail, in profile he is effortless and holds his shape well but needs to tighten a little in front movement

OD (4) 1 and BD, BOB Mauns CH Bowerhinton Bassanio and impressive male both stacked and on the move, he has a super profile shape being compact and balanced with a good length of leg, masculine wedge head with such a keen expression and well set attentive ears, excellent front with well boned foreelgs, strong pasterns and neat feet with a topline to well curled tail and just the right amount of angulation behind. On the move he is powerful and accurate but displays such easy movement as he covers the ground. A real showman and I loved him. 2 Hennesseys Laakso Esko At Elskerdeg 7 yrs old and also with quite a nice outline, he doesn’t have the substance of the winner but is in proportion with a good wedge head and dark oval eye, strong neck with width and depth to chest and a level topline, he was presented in muscular condition moving out soundly off strong hocks. 3 Middletons Graythor Broadway

VB (1) 1 and BB, BVIB Hennesseys Bowerhinton Bombette VW a gorgeous girl presented in wonderful coat and condition, she has a well proportioned wedge head, tapering muzzle and dark eye atop of a strong neck and stands true in front on straight forelegs and oval padded feet, pleasing in profile being compact with a firm level topline, close fitting elbows and slightly bent stifles, on the movement she is effortless and smooth with soundness belying her years.

MPB (1) 1 Mortimers Laakso Reinstorm a compact girl with a feminine head and lovely dark eye, compact in body with straight forelegs and neat feet, she has enough length of neck and angulation at the shoulder and stands true in front with a level topline, short loin and minimal tuck up, very together for one so young and lots to like.

JB (2) 1 and RBB Tress’s Treskha Veuve Clicquot I really liked this 12mth grey b, she is so beautifully balanced with a compact well proportioned body and ample bone for her size, very attractive head, dark eye and keen expression with neat attentive ears adding to her appeal, she has a moderate length of neck, true front and beautiful tight oval feet, compact body with good height to length ratios and just the right amount of hind angulation, still rather loose in front movement but going forward smoothly and confidently. 2 Mortimers Laakso Lumi , a very pretty and feminine girl with a well proportioned head, lovely dark eye and small neat ears, she has a moderate length of neck and straight well boned forelegs, short backed with ample depth of chest for her age but needs to firm up in topline although this does level out somewhat on the move and she covers the ground quite freely albeit a tad loose in front.

PGB (1) 1 Mauns Bowerhinton Ball Of Fire 20mths old and a rather exuberant youngster with a square outline and presented in muscular condition, I liked her head shape and its proportions and she has a lovely earset, its just a shame she didn’t stand still long enough for me to appreciate it more! She has a good front and reasonable topline to high set tail and just needs to settle on the move as she possesses a lot of good breed points,
