1ST 35 - Lasagesse A Kind of Magic of Pendlethrine (Mrs C Pendlebury) At nearly 6 months old this puppy was full of herself enjoying her day out. Liked her head shape with dark expressive almond shaped eyes. Ears well set and firm. Bit long in body as yet but has a lot of time to change here. Excellent coat qualities which was good for texture, colour and markings with the hall mark of thumb prints. Moving well side on.

3. English Toy Terrier (Black and Tan) - Minor Puppy Dog

1ST 7 - Neerodan Last Crusade (Mrs D A Dicker) I believe this exhibit is from the very last Neerodan litter, and he presented a very typical picture in profile and didn’t disappoint on closer inspection. He is stronger in head than most but there’s no mistaking his sex. Very good for skull shape which is wedged with flat back skull. Ticks the boxes for eye shape and colour and he has strength in his lower jaws. Lovely to go over further and he is already quite mature in rib. Topline and tail set just as the standard asks for with good underline and for his young age well-muscled hindquarters. He still needs some training, but when he got into his stride, he showed me his lovely correct front movement using his shoulders and extending well. Both exhibits here presented in good coat with correct markings. Could fine down a mite as he gets older. BPIS

2ND 34 - Ettology Stand and Deliver (Mrs C Pendlebury) Finer in bone compared to first which is what the standard is asking for but much less compact in bod just now. He’s going to need some time to really come together. Very well-schooled with accurate movement out and back. He has a much longer, leaner head type compared to the winner. His eyes are good which are small and dark giving a wicked expression. Great ear set which are bang on top of his head at the back of his skull. Quite the showman already and knows his craft.

1ST 13 - Pallisandre Vegas Lights (Mrs R & Mr W K & Miss C & Mr M Dowson & Dowson & Ramsden & Kagzi) Exceptional on the move. As he came into the ring, he was gaited at the speed appropriate to his size and showed true English Toy movement with the extension we desire in the breed. He excels in ears and eyes, and he is beautifully marked all over from front to rear and each and every toe. Very masculine in expression with firm ears.

1ST 9 - Am Ch Cottage Lakes Lasagesse American Pie (Imp Usa) (Mr G & Mrs L Dixon) His wicked eyes got me! Ideal sized male with fine strong bone and I love his eyes for shape, colour and the look he gave back at me. Compact in body with good turn of stifle which is disappearing in the breed. Excellent thick coat with rich tans. Steady mover only having eyes for his owner handler.

2ND 32 - Winsome Flames Aussie Gold (Imp Swe) (Mrs C E & Mr L R Partington-Palmer & Palmer) Lovey boy and very terrier like in his general appearance. I preferred the wedge-shaped head of this exhibit when viewed with first. His ears are strong which are well placed. Eyes just fractionally fully in shape and would like them darker. He is balanced in body but has a slight break in his topline. He shows beautifully and I like his front action in profile and coming towards. Two exhibits here which do and will change places with each other.

1ST 42 - Rhymswell Fields of Gold (Mrs T & Mr J M L Warren) Lovely headed dog with correct head, ear and eye and good mouth with strong under jaw. Correct topline and tail set. Keeps a good shape in profile and very precise coming towards. Tans fractionally lighter and he has mini thumb prints. Still needs time to reach his best. Can coat up a little more on his body.

9. English Toy Terrier (Black and Tan) - Limit Dog

1ST 26 - Lasagesse Paint It Black (Ms A & Mr J Keylock & Collins) Exhibit I have judged before as a puppy and thought highly of him then and now. He has the most wonderful coloured rich tan. Admirable wedge-shaped head, correct small almond shaped eyes and a good mouth with strong dentition. Has strength in his under jaw and creates the impression he would have no trouble dispatching any small rodents. Shown in immaculate coat. Sound mover with a high degree of showmanship which put him above his lovely brother who’s shape I prefer. Needs to be shown more.

2ND 19 - Lasagesse Jumpin Jack Flash (Mr D & Mrs C Howard) If only this exhibit made so much more of himself, he could very easily turn the tables on his brother. Has the breeds typical outline in profile. Has a correct wedge-shaped head, good length of neck, desirable topline and tail set is low with a slightly rounded bum. In thick harsh coat and shown in wonderful hard muscular condition but still retaining some elegance amongst his muscles. Sound mover going around but a bit flat in attitude. I would love to see what gets him going as I think he’d look a different dog. One I look at often.

3RD 24 - Edalene Upside Down JW (Mrs C & Miss R Inch)

RES 33 - Ettology Small Gods of Pendlethrine (Mrs C Pendlebury)

1ST 27 - Witchstone Nasabe Strikes Back JW (Mr A Leonard) DCC, BD and RBIS. Quality male of the outline I was looking for. Wedge shaped head with good back skull where his ears are set on high at the back of his skull and forward facing. Eyes dark and sparkling. Could be a little more refined in muzzle to perfect his head for me. Hands flowed over a well-conditioned body with correct topline and tail set. Liked his ribbing and short couplings which were muscular and strong. Thick plush coat and well presented. Moves well in profile showing extension and coming towards is straight. An outline everyone should study.

2ND 30 - Witchstone Follow the Dream with Tettoy (Mrs V Love) An exhibit I have seen before and been very close up for top awards. Like first admiral silhouette in profile and the template which I am seeing less and less as the years go by. Lovely wedge-shaped head with good ears and eyes. Has depth to his chest and has the compact body with the correct backline and croup. Side on using his correct front assembly holding a good topline. Just needs a bit more angulation behind to give him a touch more drive. In super coat.RCC

3RD 11 - Ch Lasagesse Dazed N'confused JW (Mr G & Mrs L Dixon)

RES 31 - Etruria Hear The Word (Mrs C E & Mr L R Partington-Palmer & Palmer)

1ST 15 - Ch Witchstone Not Apache On Me for Peopleton VW (Mr J & Miss W Francis & Blatchford) 11 years young and still puts in a faultless performance. You cannot get away from his very correct profile action. Love his head properties and he’s so well made with good shoulders, typical topline which has just the right amount of curve. Tans are now lighter, but thumb prints remain. I believe this year is his retirement year after so many successful years showing. BVIS

2ND 21 - Lasagesse Supersonic (Mr D & Mrs C Howard) Better size compared to first. I like his compact body and his rear is strong. Has length to his head but would prefer a slightly flatter skull. Good mouth and I like his under jaw. Could move out more freely but he has super overall breed type.

3RD 41 - Pedara The World Is Mine (Mrs T & Mr J M L Warren)

1ST 38 - Ettology Worth The Wait (Mrs Z Phillips) Beautiful puppy in immaculate coat and condition. Shows her heart out. Lovely for shape and size and for her overall balance. Excellent length to her head and she has super dark wicked eyes with good ears which were firm and set well back on her skull carried forward and she was alert. Lovely to go over. Fine, elegant and in excellent condition. Lovely side action which was typical and balanced. Only preferring the better back skull, topline and tail set of the dog puppy for top awards today. RBPIS

1ST 39 - Pallisandre Time to Dance (Miss C & Mr M Ramsden & Kagzi) Raw puppy within the ideal size range the standard is asking for, and I do hope people looking at this exhibit realise this. As a breed we are all going above the ideal. Fine and elegant and well animated on the move. Watching her carefully she’s very precise in profile with perfect foot fall. Lovely tans and mini thumb prints. Will need lots of time and patience to fulfil her promise.

1ST 25 - Dandytweed Lily The Pink (Mrs M P Jackson) This exhibit I’d happily take home. Fils the eye for overall correct breed type. Fine and elegant and love her shape. Lovely long lean wedge-shaped head. Moving very well in all directions and presented in good condition. Just needs to generally mature and just stand out a bit more. One to keep an eye on.

1ST 8 - Neerodan Thyme Bomb (Mrs D A Dicker) Her type immediately appeals and ticks a lot of boxes .In lovely coat. Presented and shown in excellent condition. Shapely body with good topline and good rear. Liked her depth of chest and now very mature in rib. Bit more in neck would give her more elegance and she could have made a bit more of herself on the day.

2ND 36 - Wykewoks Autumnal Sunsetta of Pendlethrine (Mrs C Pendlebury) Adequate in head shape with really dark eyes but needs more fill under her eyes. Has fine bone and a well-conditioned compact body. Dense black coat and moves well enough in profile albeit needs better angles fore and aft more so in her rear. Very well handled and presented.

20. English Toy Terrier (Black and Tan) - Open Bitch

1ST 22 - Edalene Court and Spark JW ShCEx OSW (Mrs C & Miss R Inch) BB, BCC and BIS. If every dog has its day, Court and Spark was having hers. In her prime and today stood out in what was a hot class. Balanced throughout and I admired her elegance so important for the breed we cannot loose. Fine in bone and in exceptional hard condition. You have to go over her to admire the smoothness of her body yet she’s well-muscled with a strong framework. Typical wedge-shaped head with strong ears, very dark almond shaped eyes, strong jaw with super dentition. Good neck which she used well. Her body is shapely and she has depth to her chest. Correct in her topline with gentle curve from withers to rear and this goes neatly into a rounded bum with moderately angulated hind quarters with good turn of stifle. Coat harsh, dense and tight fitting. Covering the ground well in all directions showing enough extension in front and accurate out and back. She could do no wrong on the day. Balanced outline stood out on the day.

2ND 29 - Lasagesse Whole Lotta Love with Tettoy JW (Mrs V Love) RCC and really looking the part today. Feminine in head with super eyes and expression. Very desirable size, fine in bone and yet strong in bone and has elegance with substance. Compact in body with deep narrow chest, good ribbing and strong in loin. Coat in good order and her tans are spot on with faint thumb prints. On the move has some extension in front and drive from behind. Shows well standing her ground.

3RD 28 - Ch Witchstone Silent Prayer (Mr A Leonard)

RES 10 - Ch Lasagesse Black Magic Woman (Mr G & Mrs L Dixon)

VHC 12 - Ch Lasagesse Kashmir JW (Mr G & Mrs L Dixon)

1ST 18 - Ch Witchstone Minnehaha VW (Mrs H & Mr J Haffenden & Wood) One I have judged before and my opinion of her still remains the same. Lovely size, compact in body with lovely coat and conditioning. She stands on four good feet defiant. Head type appeals with super eyes and ears. She motors around the ring using her strong hocks and still shows her heart out. For best veteran in breed, the male is more typical in movement and I prefer his overall type with elegance.

2ND 23 - Edalene Never Let Me Go VW (Mrs C & Miss R Inch) I think in all the years of showing the breed Ive yet to come across another dog who every time I see her, gives 101% with more to give. The energy is almost never ending. Lovley type with a distinct wedge-shaped head with dark almond eyes . Lovely body and condition and one of the few who has neck which she uses well. Lovely on the move with a super topline.

3RD 2 - Ch Nasabe Lily Marlene JW (Miss M J Benson)

22. English Toy Terrier (Black and Tan) - Special Beginners Bitch

1ST 17 - Moretonia Royal Wren (Mrs H Greenwood Johnson) Considered for the RCC

just preferring the cleaner front action of the eventual rcc winner. Beautiful

elegant head with well-shaped ears. The head type I love. Slightly arched neck of good

length. Shown in such good condition and she shows so well. Keeps a good shape going around. Such a hard decision today.

23. English Toy Terrier (Black and Tan) - Brace

1ST 20 - Lasagesse Starman VW (Mr D & Mrs C Howard) Two lovely boys, Father and son showing in harmony. Both very much in tune with each other. Very correct distinct outlines.

2ND 41 - Pedara The World Is Mine (Mrs T & Mr J M L Warren) Not as well matched as first but both of lovely size with typical characteristics of the breed. Liked the bone and overall muscletone of both.
