SARAH WILLETT BIRMINGHAM YEARLING ST (Day 4)

AV G Yr D (17 Entries) Abs: 4

1st: OBRIEN, Miss E R Soletrader Rockin Robin

Won a junior class under me as a junior and I considered him for top honours then. A smart young man who has a clean outline. His head is well made, good overall shape, kind eye and well-set ears, giving a masculine expression. He has a good reach of neck into well placed shoulders. Stands on well boned legs, tight elbows and good feet. Body of good proportions. Quarters well developed for his age. Moved out well with a clean action, plenty of drive, holding his shape throughout to take the class

2nd: CLARKE, Miss Chloe Riverbrue Gives You Hell

Smart young dog who at this age presents a very impressive outline on the stack. Good size and substance, a clean picture which portrayed his racy lines and elegance. Masculine head with raised brows and balance, correct amount of work for his age and low set ears. Super front assembly, ribs sprung and well back and firm through loin, would just like him a little shorter in loin. Well-developed quarters and second thigh. Moved soundly with a good action but needs a little more fluidity to complete the picture.

1st: BELLAMY, Miss Abby Moontorn Chasing The Dream JW (FCR)

This bitch has both style and personality and is a real show girl. Head balanced with a good eye shape. Best outline in the class, clean through the neck which led in to well set shoulders and a good return of upper arm. I liked her body proportions, very balanced with a level topline. Well ribbed up and firm loin. Super quarters with stifles well bent. Good muscle tone and condition. Drove round the ring with a fluid action. Totally at one with her hander who showed her to advantage

2nd: COLLINS-PITMAN, Mrs Jean & CRAFT, Mrs T & WATKINS, Empyrean Desert Tempest At Glenmaurangi (imp Can) (Gordon)

Well-made bitch who presented a clean picture on the stack with good overall balance. Feminine in head, enhanced by a good eye to give a pleasing and beautiful expression. Neck into shoulders was super with shoulders well-placed. Good front make-up, well boned legs and depth to chest. Body well made, ribs well sprung and a firm loin. Topline level and tail set correct. Quarters well developed, stifles well bent and short from hock to heal. Good, well-defined tan markings. Moved out well.

3rd: LAMB, Mrs Jacqui Ms Eire Junior At Kayldemb (IKC) (Imp)

THE BETTY FLAVELL BIRMINGHAM OPEN ST (Day 4)

OD Gu (16 Entries) Abs: 8

1st: NEATH, Miss Janet Albadora Total Madness JW. Eng Set.

This young man won under me when I judged the breed last year and I said then I thought he was an exciting prospect, great to see him back as the finished article. I thought he was a lovely typy blue boy. He has a super headpiece of good proportions and a dark eye giving a typical masculine expression. Good through the neck and shoulders and desired return of forearm. Ribs well back and correct depth to forechest. Has the right amount of substance throughout. Once settled he put his powerful quarters to use with a free driving action, good going away and accurate when he came towards me, on the move he held his shape and topline. In super coat and condition.

2nd: BAMBROOK, Mrs Karen Winsleywood Waghorn At Ravoakar JW. Lab.

Another who has done well under me before. Good overall outline on this four-year-old young man who is starting to come to his best now, he is progressing in the right direction. He has a good head shape and masculine expression. A clean reach of neck and well-placed shoulders. A decent length of body, well-made quarters with good angulation, hocks well let down. Very clean outline on him which he held on the move just wanted him to hold his shape more as he kept trying to sniff the ground. Movement was sound, good footfall and with the appropriate amount of drive.

3rd: DARWESH, Mrs Jo & DARWESH, Miss Eliza S Chanderhill Smart Edition For Elizad JW

OB Gu (10 Entries) Abs: 5

1st: HILL, Miss Pamela & SMITH, Mr Dale Sh Ch Sh Ch Megarvey Clementine JW. Goldie.

I liked this bitch as she entered the ring and did not disappoint when I got my hands on her. She won a junior class under me as a youngster and I thought she showed promise then, now here today as the finished article and I see as a champion. She has a beautiful feminine head. Strong and clean through the neck, with correct lay back of shoulder. I liked her overall body shape, forechest good, with the correct spring of rib. Good length & depth of loin, quarters well-made, well bent stifles, stands on well boned legs & neat feet, super level topline which she held on the move, correct tail set. Fluid mover with a good action, she flew round the ring.

2nd: JENKINSON, Mrs K Eastriding Royal Style. ESS.

She has a lovely feminine head shape and expression. Clearly defined chiselling and fluting and lovely eye colour. Neck of good length and muscular which led on to well laid shoulders and correct front angulation. Good body length with good depth of chest, ribs well sprung, correct finish to her body. Muscular through the loin, excellent rear angulation, quarters well made with stifles well bent and hocks well let down. Would just like a little less covering, moved out well with plenty of enthusiasm.
