I have judged this wonderful breed for many years, so firstly I'd like to take this opportunity to thank the officers & committee for the opportunity to award my first set of CCs and to my very efficient stewards for all of their support.

 Likewise, I must thank you, the exhibitors, for allowing me to assess and comment on your precious dogs - it was an honour!

All the exhibits had excellent temperaments but I did have a few suspect mouths and a few that were carrying excess weight.

Class 1158 SBD/B (6 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 1999 KENNETT, Mrs Susie & KENNETT, Mr Don Magnavalleys Mojito D. Such a very biddable & eager youngster Balanced head with correct eye colour - strong muzzle, good reach of neck - well off for bone - well sprung rib - well muscled rear for age - hocks well let down moved well. 

2nd: 1980 FINDJAN, Mrs Vivienne Salvator's Hot Summer Rossacre B Pleasing Bk B with feminine, balanced head- good pigmentation and dark eye - bone ok - good forechest - level topline - typical tail with rounded shape and dense covering - rear quarters muscled- correct double coat -happy mover.

2nd: 1967 EDWARDS, Mrs Vivienne Fiona Chelmscote Daddy's Boy Again a lovely outline on the 7 mth Bk D - balanced head with defined stop - muscular neck into well laid shoulders - bone ok - correct feet - moved ok but was inclined to pace at times

1st: 1971 EVANS, Miss Emily Loretta Night Fury Over Eminala (Imp USA) This balanced Bk D had the most appealing head and expression - broad skull and defined stop - dark eye and good pigmentation - strong muzzle - well muscled neck - tight feet and good for bone - good spring and length of rib- short coupled - well muscled rear - correct tail set and shape - moved steady with drive . delighted to award him BP & Res.CC  

2nd: 1957 BRADDON, Mrs F. E. M. & BRADDON, Mr D. L. Trendlewood For All We Know  

A quality pale yellow D in good coat throughout - balanced head with correct eye colour - clean neck - good forechest - feet ok, slightly longer cast to 1 - well muscled rear - moved well

15 mth Yellow D - pleasing head with broad skull - medium set dark eyes - correct ear set- correct bite - strong neck - forechest ok - straight front into tight feet - level topline , well-muscled rear quarters - correct tail set and shape - moved well.

2nd: 1995 HOSKING, Mr W & Mrs P Cornishwater Whealprosper - 

just turned 12 mth and still needing time to fill out to balance the outline - pleasing head good pigmentation - neck ok - level topline into well-muscled rear quarters - hocks well let down - moved ok - slight pacing at times

1st: 2027 SHIRTON, Mrs Y Woolman Free And Easy ok for bone Lovely outline on this 15mt Yellow - typical head and expression with correct ear set - pigmentation ok would prefer a slightly darker eye - strong neck - good forechest and lay of shoulder - tight feet - good depth and spring of rib - hocks well let down, moved ok

2nd: 2011 MILLS, Miss & Mrs R J & J E Jaybec Winter Yule JW another yellow carrying some extra weight today - super head with balanced skull and muzzle - defined stop - correct ear set - preferred front quarters of above - correct dense coat - moved a bit close behind

1st: 1991 HODGE, Mr & Mrs & Miss Arv & R Naiken Island Hopping (ai) JW most wonderful texture and dense chocolate coat on this D - typical head with defined stop - well set ears - would like a darker eye - good bone throughout - muscular neck - well sprung rib - lovely forechest - correct tight feet - well set tail - hocks well let down - moved well covering ground freely

2nd: 1969 EDWARDS, Ms Caroline M Kimbajak Royal Mint Happy yellow D - typical head - defined stop - correct set ears, hazel eye -strong neck - carried level topline standing and on the move-  well muscled rear quarters - moved ok 

3rd: 2017 PERKINS, Mrs S Mcfarwin's Grey Legacy By Keeninspires Jw

2nd: 1997 JEFFERY, Mrs B Lembas Brooklyn At Mibridge Again a good-sized D in super black coat, again, like above such a typical pleasing masculine head and expression - strong skull correct stop- good for forechest - spring of rib correct - good bone - moved well but just lost level topline at times  

3rd: 1987 HALLGARTH, Mrs E Amberstope Gold Label At Chapelmanor (ai)

Smaller yellow D balanced throughout in super short straight dense coat. Super head with kind expression - medium eye of correct colour - good pigmentation - correct bite - muscular neck into well laid shoulder - well sprung ribs - good forechest - tight round feet - bone ok - level topline - muscular rear quarter which he used to advantage on move - hocks well let down - Delighted to award him CC and see this boy shortlisted in the Group.

A larger yellow D again in super quality coat strong, broad head excellent pigment and dark eyes. Strong neck, well placed shoulders, good for bone, correct feet. Deep body, well developed ribs. Tail well set and carried. Muscular hindquarters, stifles well turned. Moved well covering ground.

well covered 11 mth b in excellent coat - pleasing head - good front and forechest - excellent spring of rib - and well-muscled rear quarters, moved ok when settled
