Thank you to Michael and the Committee for the invitation to judge the Specials Classes, this is a breed I really have fallen in love with and an appointment I really looked forward to. Thank you to both my stewards and the exhibitors who entered and showed great sportsmanship. 

Junior Dog or Bitch 4 (1 abs)

1st Savell’s Petranella Strike A Pose

11 Month Liver and White Bitch, caught my eye for type and balance. She presents a super shape and is a lovely size. She has a very pretty head with good work to it, good eye shape, colour needs to darken a tad more. She has good front assembly, good bone and stands on tight feet. She has a strong level topline held at all times, showing excellent depth and a good spring of rib, excellent rear angulation and good thickness to her well muscled thighs. Strong rear pasterns. She needs to firm up coming and going but her open side profile covered the ground with ease carrying her tail level. A very exciting future for her I’m sure. 

2nd Hill’s Peasblossom Emotions with Teignvalley

16 month black and white bitch. Stronger head than 1 but presents a balanced outline. She has a good length of neck into well laid shoulders, I’d prefer a better length to upper arm, she has good depth and ribbing, short loin and level topline. I preferred the more compact outline of 1st. She has good bone and stands on good feet. Moved well in profile and loved her happy attitude. Presented very well. 

3rd Watt’s Peasblossom Eros

1st Jenkinson’s Eastriding Royal Style

21 months old scores for breed type. Pretty head and expression with good fluting, correct stop and good depth of flew, another whose eye needs to darken but time is on her side. She presents a balanced outline with reasonable front angulation, good depth and ribbing. Her topline isn't the best when moving but she moved with a good length of stride and correct footfall. Presented in excellent coat and condition. 

2nd De Carteret’s Dexbenella Believin In Dreams at Derindee

21 months old black and white bitch. Balanced bitch of a correct size. Pretty head and expression lacks strength to muzzle and foreface. Good length of neck into well laid shoulders but would prefer a better length of upper arm. She has good length and depth of ribs which are well sprung, short loin and well made rear with good thickness. Not the tidiest coming or going but moved really well in profile on a good length of stride holding her topline really well. She just lacked breed type for me in comparison to 1st.

1st Topliss’ Beresford Stand On Ceremony JW

Almost 2 years liver and white bitch. She didn’t catch my eye straight away against the upstanding males but on individual judging she took my eye. She presents a really balanced shape, a pretty head with an excellent expression would prefer more stop. She has a well constructed front, well developed forechest to be picky I’d like a slightly better angle of upper arm. She has good ribbing of the correct length and short loin. She has a moderate bend of stifle and well let down, straight hocks. She was the tidiest between the first 2 coming and going and loved her neck into shoulders and level topline. She covered the ground with ease.

2nd Topliss’ Beresford Stand N’ Stare JW

Litter brother to 1st, he is all male with an excellent head and dark eye, I preferred the head on this boy over his sister. I found him a tad upright in shoulders but has good forechest and upper arm, excellent bone and straight legs. Good depth of chest, well sprung ribs and short loin. His rear angles are a bit overdone for me and he wasn’t as tidy as 1 going away which cost him today. I preferred the overall flow of outline of 1 but he moves with a lot of power and purpose on a good length of stride, holding his firm topline, carrying his tail level he makes a super showman.

3rd Tracz’s Beresford On My Way with Acregate
