Quite elegant male well, built. I would prefer a more masculine head. Excellent high set ears and expression. Good length of neck, pleasing top- and underline. Excellent depth of brisket. Elegant bone, good feet. Well angulated rear. I would like some more strength to his movement. Excellent temperament and muscle condition.

Well developed for age, excellent proportions and size. Masculine head with good width of skull, excellent expression and ear placement. Strong, long and well set neck. Attractive topline standing, tendency to lose it on the move. Hopefully it will improve by age. Excellent angulation front and rear, excellent bone, good feet. Very easy on the move, proud of his tail. Excellent sweet temperament and excellent muscle condition.

Attractive type, size and proportions. Masculine well shaped head with good width of skull, excellent ear placement. Good expression. Strong neck of good length. Slightly too flat in topline, loin could be shorter. Slightly barrel cheasted. Excellent front angulation, I would prefer less in the rear. Extremely parallel coming and going, enough reach, drive and strength from the side. In excellent muscle condition, excellent temperament.

2. Yamadan Kn Aijaz Haalim (Imp Usa) (Dr M A Ulyatt)

Quite high on legs, lacks angulation front and rear. Masculine head, excellent ears and expression. Good top- and underline, bone and feet. I would prefer better movement.

Attractive type, pleasing proportions and outline. Masculine well shaped head. Attractive oriental expression, excellent ear placement. Tendency to get a bit roached in his topline, excellent depth of brisket. Adequate forechest. Elegant bone, good feet. When willing to, he moves quite well.

Strong and well built but lacks the important element of elegance. Quite strong head, excellent expression. Excellent ear placement. Strong neck, attractive top- and underline, good bone, would prefer longer feet. Balanced angulation front and rear. I would like more reach and drive on the move.

Very attractive type and overall look. Beautiful head with excellent width of skull, ear placement and oriental expression. Good length of neck, neck a bit sharp set. Topline could be stronger when standing, improves on the move. Excellent depth of brisket, excellent forechest. Balance angulation both ends. Elegant bone good feet. Moves really well, if not very enthusiastic.

2. A'sim Sha'rif Al Asmaanii at Barakisch (Imp Che) (Miss C Andersson)

Eyecatching, lots to like about this dog, if not very masculine. Excellent proportions and size. Excellent ear placement and expression. Excellent neck of good length. His topline is slightly soft, still has a quite good shape. Would prefer a longer brisket, excellent forechest. His elbows could be tighter to body. On the move he has lots of energy, unfortunately his front movement is too high. This disturbs the overall look on the move. Excellent temperament and muscle condition.

Highlight of the day. It is very seldom these days to have a open class of 23 Saluki males. A joy to judge, I found all five that I placed to be excellent Salukis, as well as the two that made the cut among all these males.

What a beautiful Saluki! And what a presence. He is not in the need to impress anybody about his beauty; he is fully aware of it himself. Classical type, proportions and size. Masculine enough head, beautiful oriental expression. Extremely beautiful, long and well set neck. Excellent strong topline, depth of brisket and length of brisket. Beautiful forechest, balanced, excellent angulation front and rear. Long, excellent shaped feet. Excellent tail carriage. There is nothing that does not fulfil my expectations when this dog starts to move. It is all so balanced, effortless. The way he carries himself on a loose lead is exactly how I want it to be in a Saluki. Not too high, nor too low. He never put a foot wrong and looks the same both standing and moving. In excellent condition. CC/BOB and later second in a very strong Hound group.

2. Ch Jay Jp Sea Bird El Panjsher (Imp Jpn) JW (Ms L & Mrs J Aldous & Glaister)

Another classical Saluki of top class. I really like his type, proportions and size. Again, head is just enough masculine. In spite that his eyes could be slightly darker, he still has a beautiful expression. Excellent strong topline with excellent depth of brisket. Good forechest, beautiful, elegant bone, excellent feet of good length. Balanced angulation front and rear. I very much appreciate his way of moving, effortless and with excellent stride. He is one of those that you can not push to go faster, he has his one pace. High quality Saluki. Res CC and BV

Quite strong, but has lots of quality, I would not like any more of him. Quite strong, masculine well shaped head. Good expression. Strong, well set neck of good length. Excellent top- and underline, excellent long brisket. Elegant bone, beautiful long feet. Slightly out of balance as for angulation. I would like a better angulated front, and I would like less in the rear. Very energetic on the move showing excellent reach and drive. In excellent muscle condition. Well handled.

2. Ch Classicus Azim for Bordercot (Mrs R Brady)

Attractive, very well built and in excellent muscle condition. Masculine head, beautiful oriental expression. Beautiful long, strong and well set neck. Good topline, adequate forechest. Excellent depth of brisket. Balanced angulation front and rear. Very energetic on the move, I would have liked to see some more elasticity. If there was a competition for longest ear fringes this dog would win BIS. Lovely temperament.

Would prefer more frontfill, excellent elegant bone, feet could be longer. Balanced angulation both ends, very easy on the move.

Very curvy bitch, adequate feminine head. Good ear placement and expression. Good neck and topline, croup rather steep. Elegant bone, good feet. Lacks angulation front and rear, movement could be more fluent.

Elegant, gives a rather square impression. Feminine head, excellent expression. Jaws could be stronger. Rather short in her ribcage. Moderately angulated both ends. Moves well.

Attractive type, beautiful lines. Feminine head, beautiful long neck, good topline and excellent depth of brisket. Adequate forechest and angled upper arm. Excellent rear angulation. Very parallel coming and going, but somewhat restricted from the side. Excellent muscle condition.

Instantly attractive bitch, but too up on legs. Rather extreme feminine head, lots of attitude. Beautifully shaped neck. Good topline, just about enough depth of brisket. Lacks frontfill. I would like less angulation in her rear. Not very enthusiastic on the move, just enough. Excellent muscle condition.

A true beauty. Excellent type, proportions and size. Beautiful feminine well shaped head with top class expression and ear placement. Beautiful long neck well set into a strong topline with excellent arch of loin. Excellent forechest, depth and length of brisket. Good angulation in front, excellent in rear. Low hocks. Very easy and balanced on the move, could do with a bit more reach in front, but… Excellent typical temperament and top muscle condition. Pushed hard for BOB. CC

Lots of energy on the move keeping her outline really well.

2. Mouniir Har Kala Rachi (Mr M & Miss K & Miss S Webb & Webb & Benoit)

Beautiful type and proportions, smooth coated. Another that has a beauty about her that can make you stare at her all day long. Lots of Saluki attitude. Stunning head and expression. Extremely beautiful neck, attractive top- and underline. Her front could have some more fill and strength, lacks muscles probably related to her high age. Excellent angulated rear. Her movement from the side is a true joy, and the way she carries herself. Coat second to none!
