Dachshund Smooth Haired. Class 49 Junior (2,0ab) 1st Hinwood, Longmel Courvoisier Truffle. 15 month old male, was of good proportions and balance. Had a pleasing head with nice eye. Moved round the ring with ease with nice extension. BOB. 2nd Hinwood, Longmel After Eight Truffle. A bitch of finer bone, but still lots to like. Created a very nice picture when stood, and flowed round the ring effortlessly with good carriage. Class 50 Post Graduate (3,2ab) 1st Roberts & Smith, Rayol Cherry Pancake. A bitch with great overall balance. Great expression on a head of good proportions. Moved with ease round the ring with good reach and drive. Class 51 Open (3,1ab) 1st Starkey, Carpaccio Magnum PI At Hamoura. A male of correct size who had such a presence. He had a masculine head with good eye. Correct shoulder assembly into body. Ok ribs, of good length. Nice topline and well put together rear. Moved out well. 2nd Roberts & Smith, Craimose Aquilegia For Rayol. No Chance for critique as exhibitor left ring. Dachshund Miniature Smooth Haired. Class 52 Puppy (7,4ab) 1st Johnson, Chocobrandy’s Dream Girl. 6 month old who was of correct size. Lots to like on her with her movement accurate from all angles. She needs time to mature and body up will come with age. 2nd Williams, Novavida Summer Sunshine. A bitch who was more mature than one with balance and proportions that really compliment her but needs time to find her feet on the move. Class 53 Junior (10,4ab) 1st Reynolds, Kelinstar Moongazer. Great for balance throughout. Head was of good proportions into body of good build. Carriage was correct and movement effortless. 2nd Herald, Winterfield Lady In Red. Nice for overall type. Good head and expression with pleasing eye. Front assembly is correct, topline and tail set. Class 54 Post Graduate (7,2ab) 1st Herald, Winterfield Lucky Star. Black and tan that is pleasing for overall shape who is of good size. Head was of good expression and shape. Correct topline. Moved well and accurate. 2nd Robertson, Marvale Comanche At Ravenwood. Bitch who was elegant in profile. She had a good length of neck into well laid shoulders with ribbing extending well back. Covered ground easily. Class 55 Open (7,1ab) 1st Hunt, Mylforbe Red Velvet At Sunara. A bitch who had so much to like stood and on the move. She was of great size and had a great attitude, pleases in head, eye and expression. Moved with soundness throughout. BOB. AVNSC Hound. Class 86 Puppy (4,2ab) 1st Martin, Savuka Shaquille For Stalwart. Saluki. A young male who had a pleasing head and correct eye. Of good weight and condition which showed standing and moving. BP. 2nd Warner & Hetherington, Savuka Shakira. Saluki. An appealing bitch at her first show, with typical Saluki attitude. She was of good body and bone. Handled very well. Class 87 Junior (7,2ab) 1st Sanders Parker & Revay, ERA Lilian Giliath Classicus (IMP CZE) JW. Saluki. Loved this bitch as soon as she walked in the right. Stunning expression on a feminine head. She excelled in elegance when stood and moving which was effortless and precise. Best AVNSC. 2nd Sawer, Boughton Back On Top. Greyhound. Another fantastic male who had great body on him. Was in fantastic condition and muscle. A powerful mover. Class 88 Post Graduate (5,2ab) 1st Sawer, Boughton Back On Top. Greyhound. Seen. Class 89 Open (7,5ab) 1st Allenby, CH Soletrader Fun Times At Rangali JW. BGVP. Striking bitch who was balanced throughout. Shown in great coat, flowed round the ring showing carriage, reach and drive. RBAVNSC. AV Hound. Class 91 Puppy. 1st Percival, Talacaty All or Nothing. 1st show and excelled in given this. She was of good body and angles for her age. Had correct shaped ears and neat feet. Moved soundly around the ring at one with handler. 2nd Herald, Winterfield Whiskey Made. Miniature Smooth Dachshund. Seen. Class 92 Open. 1st Giles-Wyatt, Clarismore Crown Prince. Beagle. Pleasing head with nice eye. correct expression, was good in body with correct tail set. Well-presented and handled. 2nd Powell, Mycroft & Mycroft, Supeta Jammie Dodger For Almakaeala. A lovely male with lots to like. Such a pleasing expression into strong front. Moved with reach. Class 93 Veteran. 1st Whittaker-Crosby, Cobyco Could Be The Last At Mulcair JW ShCM VW. 9 year old dark brindle girl who was in fantastic condition for her age. Well balanced in front and rear. Neat feet. Moved well in profile and so sound. 2nd Allenby, CH Rangali Tigger. In fabulous condition showing age here and there but none the less a great example. Nice length of neck into good shoulders. Super temperament which showed always. Moved soundly.
