LABRADOR RETRIEVERS
PUPPY (5, 0 abs)
1st Charlton’s Foxrush Hope So. BP.
Well schooled 8 month old bitch who was happy and keen to please her able handler. Attractive outline, well balanced, strong but feminine. Head developing nicely, beautiful expression from dark eye, clean neck well set into impressive forequarters, hindquarters with equal merit. Straight legs all round and good round feet. Short coupled body with well sprung barrel ribs, moved well with free ground covering stride and true footfall. Short dense yellow coat, thickly clothed true otter tail.
2nd Brambles’ Shaymiloney Saucy Olive.
Nearly 12 months old, impressive black jacket with dense waterproof undercoat, pleasing otter shaped tail. Beautiful feminine head, broad skull, good stop, powerful muzzle, kind and attentive expression. Strong neck of good length, excellent shoulders with correct length and angle of blade. Good depth to body but I would have preferred half an inch less length of loin. Straight when moving away, but front movement a bit untidy today.
3rd Morrow’s Ruembers’s Rose To Fame.
JUNIOR (3, 1 abs)
1st Smith’s Binnaig Sea Barnacle on Flyenpyg JW. RBOB.
Quality dog, masculine in every way, excellent bone and muscle tone. Clean neck and well angled shoulders. Pleasing body properties, excellent barrel shaped rib cage, short couplings, depth of body and length of leg in perfect balance. Free striding powerful gait both in profile and coming and going, very good feet. Presented in clean yellow coat. Only 14 months old, I am sure he has a bright future.
2nd Charlton’s Foxrush Happy Days.
Sweet natured bitch, eager to please her sympathetic handler, strode out well, active on the move. Well shaped head developing nicely, clean cut in profile. Strong neck flowing to well angled shoulders, enough width of chest. Ideal rib cage with good length and spring, a tad longer in the loin than her litter sister in the previous class, plenty of width across thigh and good turn of stifle. Well presented yellow coat, 8 months of age.
YEARLING (1, 0 abs)
1st Mullett’s Seatallan Damson.
Lovely masculine head on this black coated 19 month old male, intelligent expression from kind eye, alert and ready to do what was asked of him, used his ears well. Correct layback of shoulder, level top line, short coupled, wide loin, powerful hindquarters. Good spring of rib, pleasing depth of body. Excellent bone, strong and well muscled throughout. Beautifully schooled and well handled, would just have preferred tidier movement when coming towards, front pasterns not as positive as would have liked, tail set on slightly too low.

Fabulous head, appealing expression from well shaped medium sized eye. Preferred her head to her kennel mate’s in the previous class. Feminine head, well shaped and balanced, melting expression from lovely eye, obviously adores her handler. Excellent bone and feet, chocolate coloured correct coat, pleasing layback of shoulder and strong firm chest. Plenty of depth of body, very good rib cage with good spring and length, short strong loin. Would prefer more bend of stifle, moved willingly but not as true as I would have liked.

A very well made yellow coated male. Excellent muscle tone, moved with power and drive, carrying just the right amount of weight. Impressive forward reach with strong straight legs, strong drive from behind, a joy to watch in profile. Handler moved him at just the right pace to show off his flowing ground covering stride. Really lovely head, strong neck, pleasing shoulders, excellent barrel shaped rib cage, good turn of stifle, ideal round feet with well arched toes.

Exquisite in profile, but not quite the spring of rib, flank needs to fill in, just coming into yellow coloured coat. Clean neck flows through to level top line and excellent tail set. Good depth of rib cage, good width and depth of chest. Clean cut attractive head, pretty face, kind eye, open nostrils, was happy and attentive to her handler.
