Sunderland & District Canine Society: Centenary Show Judging Report 23rd November 2025
I had the honour of stepping in at the last moment to serve as a judge at the Sunderland & District Canine Society's centenary show. It was both a privilege and a pleasure to be entrusted with this responsibility, particularly at such a significant milestone in the Society’s history.
During the course of the show, I was delighted to judge three wonderful breeds: the Chihuahua Long Coat, Chihuahua Smooth Coat, and Japanese Chin. Each breed was well represented and the standard of presentation was exceptionally high.
I would like to extend my sincere thanks to all the exhibitors who entered their dogs under me. The care and attention given to the dogs were evident, and it made my role as judge both enjoyable and rewarding. The beautifully turned out dogs were a credit to their dedicated owners and handlers.
My thanks also go to the organising committee for their warm welcome and generous hospitality throughout the event. Their hard work behind the scenes ensured the show ran smoothly and made it a memorable occasion for all involved.
