South Western Gundog Club 19/10/2025 Thank you to South Western Gundog Club, for the invitation to Judge. Graduate (3/2) 1st Mahon-Hunns; Middleton & Haskin Susqudilla Yankee Shadow (IMP USA) Brown male with Kind Expression, Good eye colour, correct length of ear, would prefer a more pointed muzzle. Good bone and strong feet, excellent depth of chest, short in the loin, would prefer more rear angulation and turn of stifle. Shown in excellent coat, handled and moved well, a little close behind but otherwise sound. BPIB 2nd Mellersh-Tett; Oakmarsh Land of Promise of Roquehart: 22-Month-old Brown bitch, I like her feminine head in proportion to her body, with correct ear set and eye colour. Filling out nicely, good bite, nice length of neck, good chest, carried her topline well on the move, correct hare feet, possessing typical Chessie coat with a good oily texture. Tail of a good length and carried correctly. This is my second time judging this girl and she is maturing nicely, starting to settle and I can see her being a late bloomer. I am sure that this bitch has a very promising future. She has good bone and balance and moves freely and shown in good hard condition. Open (3/2) Blaber Mrs L, Mr L & Miss K ; Oakmarsh Laurel JW: 22-Month-old Brown bitch typical bitch from this kennel, femine head, good bite, correct colour eye and ear length. Another shown in hard condition, good length of neck, carried her topline well on the move, correct coat and well angulated throughout, moved with purpose. Bament Mrs F C; Pixiesrock Maestro Cadenza : 4-year-old Nicely headed dog with a pleasing expression, correct scissor bite, muzzle pointed but not sharp, small and well-set ears, amber eye colour. Has a good front with good bone and neat compact feet, strong muscular neck, powerful laid-back shoulders, a deep bodied dog, well ribbed, slightly long in the loin. Moderate rear angulation, coat of very good quality and texture. Strong dog on the move and held his topline with a good open side gait, shown in fit hard condition, moved with drive and purpose.
