I was asked to judge the Show at very short notice because the scheduled judge was taken ill and I would like to thank the exhibitors for supporting me on the day with a quality entry. BABY PUPPY DOG. (1:0) 1st Watson’s ETTERBERN GOZAN TO STEPDASHAR Confident, promising youngster with a sound steady movement. His head is well marked with expressive dark eyes & good ear set. He has round feet, good bone and well muscle hindquarters for his age. BABY PUPPY BITCH. (2:0) 1st Baldwin & Hartley-Mair VALLERIITA BIJOU DE LA SOURCE (Imp Pol) Very promising with attractive head & body markings. She is compact & well ribbed with a firm back, straight forelegs & round feet. She strides out well with a good tail carriage and keeping her lovely shape particularly in profile. Best Baby Puppy in Show. 2nd Marsden & Robertson’s TULIPANOS BERNI REBEL RIOT AT TRUDELEAZE (Imp.Hun) NAF TAF A lovely shape with a profuse puppy coat. She is compact with a level back, well sprung ribcage & muscled hindquarters. Moved well. DOGS. VD (3:0) 1st Green, Green & English CH. MATTHIAS VOM DURRBACHLER AT WALDERSHELF (Imp. Nld) JW 8-year-old who is compact & sturdy with good bone & substance who stands true on round compact feet. His head is masculine & broad with a flat skull, defined stop, strong muzzle & jaw. He has a broad chest & depth of brisket, well sprung ribcage & a firm level back. He has attractive head & body markings. He moves out with purpose with reach keeping a balanced shape. 2nd Bridges CH. KERNOW TROUBLUE. A balanced 7-year-old with a broad head with a good width between the eyes, defined stop with a strong muzzle & jaw. He has a muscular neck, level back, round ribcage & well-muscled thighs. He moved soundly but not quite the follow through of the winner. 3rd Copeland’s SZARHEGYALJAI FIFTY-FIFTY AT MAXJABAR (Imp. Hun) 7-year-old with plenty of substance & a profuse coat. He is masculine throughout with a broad head, strong muzzle & jaw. He is well bodied with a round ribcage & good depth of brisket. PD (1:0) 1st Love & Johnson’s GORSEBERN MISTER TWISTER 10-Month-old who is compact with a balanced outline. His head is masculine with a flat skull, almond shaped dark eye, strong muzzle & scissor bite. He has straight forelegs, with round feet, good length of rib but just needs to develop in chest and ribcage. He moved well with reach & good follow through. BPD JD (1:0) 1st Baldwin’s FORTONPARK TOP TONES Only 16 months old but there is a lot to like about this youngster. He is a lovely shape & balance with good bone & substance all through. His head has attractive markings and is broad with a flat skull, strong muzzle, high set ears and a dark eye all enhancing his expression. He is well developed in chest and ribcage with a level back and rounded rump. He stands true on straight forelegs & well muscled rear quarters. He carries his tail well on the move keeping his lovely shape. NOT BRED BY EXH. (3:0) 1st Bridges KRIMM BERNENSKA SFORA AT KERNOW (Imp.Pol) 3-year-old with a broad masculine head, flat skull, strong muzzle, dark almond shape eyes & tight fitted eyelids. He is sturdy with good bone, strong neck with good depth of brisket & well ribbed back. His back is level with a rounded rump and well-muscled, nicely angulated rear quarters. His movement is sound & straight up & down showing good reach and follow through in profile. 2nd Perks TREMYWYDDFA HOT GOSSIP 4-year-old who has a masculine head with a defined stop, strong muzzle & jaw. He is compact with a good width of chest and well sprung ribcage. Would like a little more length of neck to give a more balanced outline. Moved ok. 3rd Lindsay’s OAKBERN RIPSAW RYE. 2-year-old with good bone & substance. Masculine head with a strong muzzle. He is sturdy with a good depth of brisket & muscular hindquarters but is a little long in back which spoils the balance. PGD (3:0) 1st New’s ETTERBERN FOREVER FIRST. Compact & balanced 2-year-old with attractive coat markings, with a masculine head and good skull to muzzle proportions. He has a dark almond shaped eye and scissor bite. His neck is strong with a level back, wide chest and good spring of rib. He stands straight on round tight feet. His movement is sound particularly in profile. 2nd Jefferson’s ELBRUSBERN AMADEUS. 2-year-old with a broad head flat skull and defined stop. He has a lovely dark eye with a strong muzzle & scissor bite. He has bone & substance with a level back, depth of brisket and spring of rib. His forelegs are straight and rear quarters muscular. His movement is sound showing good reach in profile. 3rd Oakbern Ripsaw Rye. LD. (2:0) 1st Wort’s MEADOWPARK WHAT A DREAM AT GLORYBERN JW. 2-year-old with a broad head and good skull to muzzle proportions. He has dark almond shaped eyes, strong jaw with scissor bite. He is compact & balanced with a strong neck, level back & rounded rump, muscled rear quarters and well- let down hocks. His forelegs are straight with good bone, with well laid shoulders with width & depth of chest. He has an attractive marked and shiny coat. He has plenty of reach when viewed in profile. 2nd Tremywyddfa Hot Gossip OD (2:0) 1ST Mannix, Mannix & English CH. WALDERSHELFBJORN TO BE KING JW. 2- year-old masculine headed dog who is balanced with good bone & substance. His head is well marked with a broad flat skull, dark eye, strong jaw with a scissor bite and good pigment. He stands true on round feet with straight forelegs & well angulated hindquarters. His neck is strong with well laid shoulders, a firm level back, depth & width of chest and well ribbed. He covers the ground easily with a true straight action and showing reach & follow through in profile. BD & BOS 2nd Hughes CH. WALDERSHELF CUBBY AD ASTRA 5-year-old who is compact & balanced with a strong neck, level back and good tail carriage. His head is well marked & masculine with a flat skull, defined stop, dark eye & strong muzzle. Another one who stands true on round feet with slightly flexed pasterns, well-bent stifles & strong hocks. He is well bodied with a good length of ribcage and firm loin. Moves well with plenty of reach. RBD BITCHES VB. (4:1) 1st Baldwin’s TJOFSELINAS I VANA TALLIN (Imp Swe) 8-year-old of a nice size who is compact and a balanced shape with good bone & substance. She has good skull to muzzle proportions with a flat skull, defined stop, dark almond eyes and good pigmentation. Her strong neck flows into a firm level back and round rump. She has well laid shoulders, depth of brisket, well ribbed back with straight forelegs & angulated hindquarters. She moves soundly with reach and good follow through. BVIS 2nd Watson’s STEPDASHAR WINTERS WISH 8-year-old who is balanced with good bone. She is sturdy with good depth of brisket, good length of ribcage, firm loin & strong well let down hocks. Move soundly particularly in profile. 3rd Oakaby’s ISCABERN DAFFADOWNDILLY. Another 8-year-old who is compact in shape with a feminine head. She has a flat skull, dark eyes & scissor bite. She has a strong neck of a good length, firm back and a good length of ribcage. Moved well in profile. MPB. (4:2) 1st Wright & Kirk’s ROESILBERN FORS FORTUNA Lovely shape & balance, with good bone for her age, who stands true on round compact feet. She has a feminine head with attractive head markings and a flat skull, dark almond shaped eyes with close fitting eyelids, defined stop & scissor bite. Her neck of a medium length is strong and flows into well laid shoulders, level back & round rump. She moves well in profile with good reach holding her tail carriage correctly. Very promising youngster. BPIS 2nd Oakaby’s TICKBERN ONLY ONE CARINA AT ISCABERN 8-month-old with a nicely marked coat. She is compact with good bone, a level back and well ribbed. She has a feminine head with a dark eye, defined stop & scissor bite. She moved well in profile with good reach. PB (2:0) 1st Roesilbern Fors Fortuna 2nd King, Green & Dedman’s ARVELLA CAPTIVATING CALLIE 10-month-old who is compact & balanced attractive coat markings. Her head is well proportioned with dark almond shaped eyes, defined stop & scissor bite. She has a level back, rounded rump, good depth of brisket & well-muscled hindquarters. She moves soundly up & down keeping her shape in profile. JB (4:0) 1st King, Green & Dedman’s ARVELLA BUSY BEA Promising 15-month-old with good bone & substance. She has a flat skull with dark almond shaped eyes, defined stop & a strong wide jaw with a scissor bite. She stands true on round feet with well-muscled forelegs & hindquarters. Her neck is strong with well- laid shoulders, firm back, good depth of brisket and well sprung ribs. She moves soundly with good reach & follow through carrying her tail level to her back. Not the eye- catching head markings of some but still feminine with quality attributes. 2nd Peacocke’s HUSHEEN LOWER SABIE Another 15-month-old who is compact with a level back & round rump. She has a well-marked feminine head with a dark eye, strong muzzle & scissor bite. She is well bodied with a level back good length of rib, her straight forelegs standing on round compact feet. She moved soundly with good reach & follow though. 3rd Handley & Walton’s BERAISY SOMEBODY TO LOVE. 13-month-old who is compact in shape with level back & round rump. She is well muscled in body and hindquarters with round tight feet. Her head is feminine with dark eye, define stop, strong muzzle & scissor bite. She moved soundly up & down . NB (6:0) 1ST Husheen Lower Sabie 2nd Roesilbern Fors Fortuna 3rd Price’s NOBLEBERN GRACE 2-year-old who has a feminine, well-marked head with a dark almond eye, wide jaw & scissor bite. She stands on round compact feet with straight forelegs & well-muscled hindquarters. Her movement showed good reach in profile. NOT BRED BY EXH. She has dark almond shaped eyes with close fitting eyelids, defined stop & strong jaw. She has substance & bone with a well ribbed firm back, good depth of chest and muscle hindquarters. Her movement is sound & straight especially in profile showing reach & good follow through. 2nd Bridges OONNELLADREAM A STOLEN KISS AT KERNOW 2-year-old with good overall shape & balance. She has a flat skull with a dark eye, strong muzzle & scissor bite. She has substance & bone and is well bodied with a good width of chest and depth of brisket. Her neck is strong with a firm back and rounded rump. She moves well in profile with good reach & nicely carried tail. 3rd Noblebern Grace GB (5:0) 1st Arvella Busy Bea 2nd Wright & Kirk’s HIGH OAKS STILL WATER RUN DEEP TO ROESILBERN (Imp Ita) 2 -year-old with a feminine nicely marked head. Her head is well proportioned with a flat skull, defined stop, dark eye and scissor bite. She is well bodied with straight forelegs & well-muscled hindquarters. Moved soundly. 3rd Wood’s OSKEVABERN HOCUS POCUS. Nearly 2-year-old with a balanced shape, feminine head, straight muzzle & wide jaw. She has a strong neck, level back & muscular hindquarters. Although out of coat she deserved her place on her movement which was sound & true with good reach & drive. PGB (1:0) 1st Wood’s OSKEVABERN HELLRAISER JW. Nearly 2-year-old who is compact with substance and good bone. She has a feminine head with defined stop, dark expressive eyes & wide scissor bite. She stands true on round tight feet, straight forelegs & well-muscled hindquarters and is firm in body with good spring of rib. She moves straight going up and down and also in profile. She has a healthy shiny coat with attractive head & body markings. LB. (3:0) 1st Bridges KERNOW FLORIN This 3-year-old certainly catches the eye on the move with good reach & drive. She is sturdy with strong bone & muscle tone. Her head is feminine with dark eyes, close fitting eyelids, defined stop with a strong muzzle& jaw. She is firm in body with a good width & depth of chest, well laid shoulders & well angulated hindquarters. 2nd King, Green & Dedman’s HASTAA VOM DURRBACHLER WALD AT ARVELLA (Imp Nld) A 3-year-old with a balanced compact outline with a thick shiny coat & nicely marked feminine head. She has a dark almond shaped eye, defined stop, straight muzzle & wide scissor bite. She is well ribbed back with firm loin, round rump & muscular hindquarters. She stands true on round tight feet. She moved soundly with good reach and follow through. 3rd Marsden & Robertson’s KERNOW BITTERSWEET TALE FOR TRUDALEAZE. Another 3-year-old who is compact in shape with a strong neck & level back. Her head is feminine with a flat skull, dark eye, defined stop & scissor bite. She has a good depth of chest is well ribbed back with straight forelegs & round feet. She moved soundly. OB (5:0) 1st Green, Green & English CH. WALDERSHELF GIN AND TONIC A quality Class. A 4-year-old who has a balanced outline with a strong neck, firm level back & rounded rump. Her nicely marked head is feminine with dark eyes, defined stop strong wide jaw and good pigmentation. She is sturdy with well laid shoulders, good width & depth of chest and well ribbed back. Her forelegs are straight, with angulated rear quarters which are strong boned and well- muscled. She covers the ground with ease showing good reach and follow through. BIS 2nd Baldwin’s CH. FORTONPARK CHASE THAT DREAM Another quality female who is compact & sturdy with good bone and attractive head & body markings. Her head is broad and feminine with good width between her dark eyes, defined stop and wide jaw. She has a well laid shoulder, width & depth of chest and a firm back. She stands true on round, compact feet and well bent stifle giving her a balanced outline. Her movement is sound & straight and shows reach & drive in profile. RBIS 3rd Green, Green, English & English WALDERSHELF QUEEN’S INGLISH A 2-year-old of a lovely size & outline. Her head is feminine with a dak eye, defined stop, strong muzzle & jaw. She is compact with a medium length of neck, well laid shoulder & good depth of brisket. She has straight forelegs with good bone, muscled hindquarters and round feet.
