Minehead & DCS Open Show 2/11/2025 Many thanks to the Officers & Committee for the kind invitation to judge this Show. I would also like to thank my 2 efficient Stewards, Karen & Shayne for their sterling work on what turned out to be a very long day Kooikerhonde PG. (1:0) 1st Jones GLADSHEIM SAVANNA AT MAPLECOOMBE 4-year-old Red parti female who is balanced with good head proportions. She has dark brown almond shaped eyes, defined stop & scissor bite. She is well bodied with a deep chest & well sprung ribs. Moved freely with plenty of reach & drive. BOB O (1:0) 1ST Jones VALLEYRISE INSPIRATION AT MAPLECOOMBE 8-year-old in good overall condition. She is balanced in head with dark brown eyes, defined stop & scissor bite. Her shoulders are well laid with a deep chest & level back. Lost out on movement in the challenge. RBOB Lhasa Apso O (1:0) 1st Barnett & Carter CH. ALAMIKS PERFECT ILLUSION JW Stunning 4-year-old b. in an excellent presented cream coat. She is balanced & feminine with good head furnishings, dark oval eyes, reverse scissor bite & black nose. Her head sits on a strong arched neck leading on to well laid shoulders, level back & firm loin. She keeps her lovely shape on the move, which is true, particularly in profile, showing plenty of reach & drive. BOB and later headed a strong Utility Group. Tibetan Terrier P (3:0) 1st Lawrence TAZIQUE KISS OF LIFE 6-month-old G&W who shows a balanced outline. Her head is well proportioned with a round dark eye, defined stop & black nose. She is well bodied for her age with a good length of rib, level back with a slight rise over the loin. Her rear quarters are well muscled and stand on large round feet. She moves freely around the ring with good reach & drive. BPIB & PG4. 2nd Rutley’s WATERLEY TIME TO SHINE AT JAVEY. 6-month-old B&W who is balanced in shape. Her head is well proportioned with dark eyes, with a fall of coat over the eyes, defined stop, well feathered ears & good pigmentation. She has straight forelegs, well laid shoulder, level back & well-muscled rear quarters. Well-presented coat. Unfortunately, she was in a playful mood bouncing around the ring giving her handler a hard time. 3rd Lawrence TAZIQUE SWEETEST TABOO G (2:0) 1st BOSHAY PUMPKIN SPICE WITH TETSIKARMA 13-month-old B&W female. She is sturdy with a square outline & feminine head consisting of a round dark eye, strong muzzle & dark nose. She is well bodied with a firm level back, spring of rib, straight forelegs & muscular rear quarters. She has good head furnishings and is in well-presented coat. She moved around the ring freely with a strong driving movement. RBOB 2nd Harrisons BOSHAY BOOTIFUL MOMO. Litter brother of the winner. He too has a pleasing shape with a masculine head. His head is well furnished with a dark eye, defined stop, equal muzzle to skull proportions & reverse scissor bite. His neck is strong with a level back, slight rise over loin, good depth of chest & well ribbed back. Well-presented coat. PG (1:0) 1st Plummer, Plummer, Knight & Bingham ARAKI COLOUR MY WORLD FOR TETSIKARMA JW 22-month-old gold/sable b. She is sturdy, square & balanced with a pleasing head of good proportions with a feminine expression. She has well laid shoulders, straight forelegs, depth of brisket & well- muscled rear quarters. She moves moved freely with plenty of drive. O (1:0) 1st Plummer, Plummer & Bingham ARAKI KRAISIE MAZIE FOR TETISIKARMA JW ShCEx OSW 4-year-old b. in a well-presented coat who covers the ground with ease with good reach & drive. She is balanced with good head furnishings, round dark eye, defined stop & strong jaw all giving a resolute expression. Her head sits on a strong nicely arched neck leading to well laid shoulders & level back. Her body is firm with a good spring of rib, short loin & well- muscled hindquarters. Pleased to award her BOB & G2 AVNSC Utility P (2:1) 1st Moore’s ODIVANE BROTHERHOOD OF MAN (Schnauzer) 7-month-old sturdy young male with a strong head & muzzle sporting chin whiskers, dark oval eyes, high set ears & scissor bite. His body is firm with a well sprung ribcage, level back & muscular hindquarters. His movement is true with a powerful driving action. He has a deep forechest, firm back moderate front & rear angles. Moved well. O (5:1) 1st Marshall’s DEVONIA BLACK PEARL (Keeshond) 5-year-old b. who is balanced with attractive coat markings. She has a wedge-shaped muzzle, small ivy-leaf ears, oblique dark eyes with desired spectacles. She has straight forelegs, deep brisket & well sprung ribs. She has a coat of the correct texture with a dense ruff & feathering on legs. His head is broad with a strong muzzle. He has a long-arched neck, well laid shoulders, firm body and well-muscled rear quarters. Smooth easy movement. 2nd Pook’s TWOOFUS MAKE A WISH (Stan. Poodle) 8-year-old black b. She has a narrow skull with a strong muzzle & jaw. Well laid shoulders & straight forelegs. Her body is firm with well sprung ribs, muscular loin & hindquarters. A sound mover with plenty of drive. VET (12:7) 1st Marshall’s ARABESQUE AT DEVONIA (Imp Rus) (Keeshond) 7-year-old male who is compact with a dense ruff and harsh off-standing coat with defined shadings. He has a wedge-shaped skull with a definite stop, dark almond shape eyes with required spectacles & black nose. He has a well sprung ribs & muscular hindquarters. His movement is brisk & sound keeping his balanced outline. His skull to muzzle proportions are good with round dark eyes, defined stop & strong lower jaw giving a resolute expression. His body is firm with deep brisket & well sprung ribs. Her head sits on a strong arched neck and is broad with a large muzzle, obliquely set eyes & scissor bite. She stands true on large tight feet and her well-furnished tail sitting over a slightly sloping topline gives her a balanced outline. She has an attractively marked thick coat.
