Firm in body with good depth of brisket. Well angulated rear aids effortless, accurate movement, covering the ground with ease. BOB G1 & delighted to award him BIS.

1. McLellan’s Anadain Dead Ring For Love. D. 14 months. Took my eye immediately for balance and shape. Masculine head profile, correct neck and lay of shoulders. Body is well ribbed, deep chest. Nicely angulated hindquarters. Moved with determination and drive. BOB.

2. Foster’s Ravendane Like A Prayer. B. 10 months. Naturally, still very young and immature. Produces a pleasing outline. OK dentition. Balanced head; good neck and topline. Moved positively. In super coat and condition. BPIB.

1. McClellan’s Kinnegans Daydream Beliver At Anadain. 2 years B. Appealing head containing dark eyes and mask. Liked her overall make and shape, lengthy neck and good fill to front. Secure topline. Moved OK.

1. Blaney’s Nipnattens Strong Avaalaqiakulooq Fenrirkin (Imp Nor). D. 6 months old. Really nice to examine. Head with correct wedge shape and balance. Correct coat texture for age and well set tail. Good depth of chest, neck of balanced length and body with well sprung ribs. Good bone for age. Smart impressive mover. A lovely puppy. BPIB & PG2.

1. Esp/Sui/Ir/Int Ch Suna-Sanki’s Electric Noah Of Fenriur kin (Imp Nor). 6 years. D. My notes say ‘Fit for purpose’. This masculine, dog is certainly strong and powerful as adequately demonstrated on the move. Super head. Good for neck and shoulders; broad chest with plenty of depth. Well set tail. Strongly boned throughout but not overdone. I enjoyed judging him. BOB & Group Shortlist.

1. Burrell’s Kalizmar The Hitch Hiker, 8 months. D. Nicely put together. Moved steadily for age but just to strengthen behind. Nice head; excellent dentition. Mask gives a pleasing expression. Lovely body with ample bone. Correct length of tail. Presented very well and handled sympathetically, BOB & BPIB, PG4.

1. Duff’s Tiotanbears Notorious. 8 months. D. Lots to like. He has a pleasing masculine head containing dark eyes aiding typical expression. Nice to examine; his conformation is impressive. Super coat. Secure top line and moderate angles. Stands on good feet. Moved very well. BPIB & PG3.

2. Duff’s Tiotanbears Requiem. 8 months B. Litter sister to 1 and very similar in type so the same attributes apply. Pleasing feminine head. Preferred topline and movement of her brother at this stage.

1. Russell’s Zentar Fizzical Damage. 3 years. M. I particularly liked his head and expression. Appealing eyes and finished with a good muzzle. Impressive overall proportions, balanced and with good bone. True on the move and presented in excellent coat and condition.

2. Adair’s Chateaunewf Make My Day For Dartebear. 23 months. B. Has substance whilst being feminine. Balanced head with good width to skull. Her forelegs are well boned. Good for length of neck and front construction. Secure back line. Moved with style. Close call.

1. Crosier’s Nurburgnewf Cayman. D. 6 years. Mature and handsome. Masculine head with expressive eyes. Impressive for angulations and proportions. Ample depth of chest; well ribbed. Presented in excellent coat and condition and moved really well. Won a hotly contested class. BOB & G2.

2. Duff’s Titanbears Excommunicado JW. Almost 2. Another lovely young dog and pressed 1 all the way. Produces an impressive outline when standing and on the move. Masculine, well balanced head with kind expressive yes. Deep chest. Good for ribs. True and accurate on the move.

1. Topham & Malta’s Virlees Infatuation. 17 months. B. Balanced head containing round dark eyes. Good for neck. Would prefer more bone and substance throughout. Level top line. Moved OK. BOB

1. Rogerson’s Gercekask Born To Run. 6 months. D. Clearly has a bright future and thought him something special. Foxy well chiselled head, lovely almond shaped eyes, well set. Good ear placement. Liked his length of neck and well laid shoulders. Excellent ribbing. Correct topline and tuck-up. Hindquarters have a good turn of stifle. Moved superbly for one so young and stood attentive to handler as and when required. BPIB & PG1.

2. Freeman & Wakefields Siberiadrift Hocus Pocus. 16 months. B. Super for head, eye and ear set. Correct length of neck leading to a good front with correct sloping pasterns, good ribbing and correct slight arch over the loin Impressive angulations. She moved well. Sadly completely out of coat.

2. Jackson’s Aloustair’s Circle of Life. Almost 2 years. B. Third in Junior. Good for make and shape. Liked her overall size. I felt she was a tad unsure, but moved soundly. Good coat.

1. Kent’s Lyfearon Off With Their Head ShEx. 4 years. B. Lovely size and shape. Liked her balance, good for head shape; alert expression. Well-made front. Balanced bone and good feet. Niceley angulated hindquarters. So impressive on the move; it was effortless. Well handled. BOB & G4.

2. Odell’s Lyfearon She Is A Wildflower Howlvally. 4 years. B. Nice size and a pleasing head of good proportions. Good ears, set well. Neck of ample length and a good lay of shoulder. Preferred overall balance of 1. Steady on the move.

1. Robinson and Brown’s Hightimbers Oreo Cookie. 2 years. B. Hovawart. Well-made body. OK for overall shape. Feminine but has substance. Plumed tail; good coat and feathering. On the move she reach out well; a tad narrow behind. In good condition. Best AVNSC Working.

Clean, strong front and super pasterns. Well angulated hindquarters. Moved out well with excellent reach and drive. In super condition. BV and BVIS.

2. Jackson’s Lyfearon Blazing Heart JW. Siberian Husky. 8 years. D. Liked his overall balance. Correct medium bone, lay of neck and shoulders. Secure topline. Strong hindquarters aided accurate, free movement. Unlucky to meet 1.

1. Allison’s Big Boy Brucie, Bullmastiff. 11 months. D. Really impressive. Square skull, super eyes, deep muzzle and broad nostrils. He is developed in front; broad and deep in chest and secure topline. Nicely angulated hindquarters. Tight feet. Impressive on the move.

2. O’Connell’s Sionnachdu First Of Her Name. 6 months. B. Giving some away in maturity. Her head is balanced and has a flat skull; nice for muzzle and a good underjaw. OK for neck. Correct body/height proportions. Needs to develop in chest. She has a good spring of ribs.

1. Clegram’s Smiddy All The Glitz. 20 months. B. Lots to like about this feminine tricolour. Correct head portraying a pleasing expression from beautiful almond shaped eyes; well set ears. Correct dentition. Nice for neck, shoulders and body. Moved very well.

2. Wade’s Willowthorn Tri Dreamin. 18 months. B. Sweet feminine disposition. Beautifully balanced. Excellent head piece contains expressive eyes. Ears used well. Excellent mouth. Good neck. Well bodied. Preferred the movement of 1.

3. O’Connell’s Degallo Golden Girl At Sionnachdu.

1. O’Connell’s Rowancrest Rather Smart At Sionnachdu. 2 years. Produces an impressive outline when standing. S/W Coat in full bloom. Correct for head giving endearing expression. Ears used to advantage. Good depth of chest and well sprung ribs. Short strong hocks and neat feet. Moved so impressively in the challenge. BOB.

2. Wade’s Doonelodge I Will Survive. 7 years. B. In excellent condition. Appealing head and eyes. OK front. Good dentition. Not the overall balance of 1.

3. Ferguson’s Dinmore Wild Blue Younder Of Fervaila.

1. Welford’s Ristine Emerald, 6 years. B. Nice to examine. Good clean wedged shaped head with correct stop and eye shape. Excellent ears, well set and used to enhance her expression. Very good to go over. Coat on the change. In the challenge she did not move as well as in the class.

1. Proudler’s Kimapa Kalaon. 15 months. D. Cocker Spaniel. Liver/roan coat. A real showman. Head is impressive - square muzzle, intelligent eyes. Well places ears. Correct neck and shoulders. Body with ideal width of chest, impressive rib cage. Hindquarters have lovely turn of stifle. Moved superbly showing plenty of pad. Must have a bright future.

2. Mason’s Teckeltown Lord Of The Rings. Dachshund (Min S/H). 2 years. D. Head gives an intelligent expression from his dark eyes. Good through neck and shoulders. Good keel and neat front. Ample width to thighs and great finish to croup. Impressive carriage and style. In this hotly contested class, on the final go around, his topline became a tad soft which gave 1 the nod.

3. Fletcher’s Sharnor Sultan Of Spica, Bedlington T. D.

Post Graduate Stakes 26/16

1. Atkinson’s Raedwulf Moondance JW. Border Terrier. 22 months. B. I thought her something quite special. Super for size, shape and balance. Feminine head of good proportions; neat ears. Clean front. Spans well; good rib and short loin. Good feet. Excellent jacket of good texture. Moved and presented superbly. Must have an exciting future.

2. Proudler’s Kimapa Kalaon. 15 months. B. Cocker Spaniel. Litter sister to winner of the Junior Stakes and many of the same comments apply. Feminine, sound on the move and of happy disposition.

3. Hunt & Oliver’s Songshijia Chief Kwangchow. JW. D. Chow Chow.

A really fun class to judge.

1. Middleton’s Basset Blue De Gascogne. Both in harmony, producing free easy movement and at one with their handler. Both presented in lovely coat and condition. Clearly very happy with it all!

2. Bell’s Maxmadadh Brace of West Highland White Terriers. D & B both have attractive heads containing lovely eyes. Both moved in harmony with a free gait and holding firm top lines.

2. Smith’s Binnaig Sea Barnacle On Flyenpyg, Labrador Retriever D. Yellow. Well angulated throughout. Moderate shaped head, good eye colour. Secure topline, moved well. Close call.

Copeland’s Kernow Dollar Promises At Maxjabar. 3 years. D. Winner of the Working Group and really came into his own in the large BIS ring. I was told later he has a CC and RCC’s to his name and I wish him well for his title.

Moss & Connolly’s Ch Ashmair Live to tell Mamose ShCEx (IKC). Bichon Frise. 3 years. D. Completely new to me. Delightful to examine and sports the most amazing coat and presentation. Dark pigmentation. Moved Superbly.

BEST PUPPY IN SHOW

Brandenburg & Smith’s Nikara It’s Keats. Samoyed. 11 months. D. I thought him so impressive. Appealing head with super eyes and pigmentation, neat ears all contribute to such a wonderful expression. Stunning, harsh coat in great condition. Loved his overall proportions and moderate angulations. Clean front, good for body, loin and tail set. Holds a strong secure topline. On the move he took the ring by storm so headed a wonderful lineup of puppies.

Dixon’s Lasagesse Kashmir, English Toy Terrier. 11 months. B. Ultra Sound on the move and produces a shapely silhouette when standing. Balanced head, tapering muzzle and dark almond shaped eyes. Correct neck into well laid shoulders and gently curving backline. Already a confident showgirl, she demonstrates the required extended trot. Super coat and condition.
