Show Reports Day 1 and Day 2
This two-day Open Show provided a typical celebration of canine excellence. The Committee and Officers impeccably organised it throughout with clear scheduling, working tirelessly in preparation and throughout this very busy week-end. They created a welcoming atmosphere for everyone. The quality of dogs across all groups was impressive for which I had the honour of adjudicating Best In Show.

Stanbury's Belgian Shepherd Dog (Tervueren) Ch HRV Ch Domburg By Appointment At Woodbriar SH Ex. D. Produces such a stunning profile. Alert and attentive. Fabulous head and mask. Moved effortlessly, with an accurate light action. Presented in amazing condition.
Reserve Best In Show
Salmon's Spaniel (Cocker) Crimicar Blu Diamond. B. Feminine and so balanced throughout, feminine head. Well proportioned. She moved with reach and drive just flowing around the ring with an ever wagging tail.
Best Puppy In Show
Smith's Alaskan Malumute, Snowshoes Sweet Symphony, B. Balanced outline with substance. Most attractive feminine head with dark expressive eyes. Neck of correct length and moderate front assembly. Tidy hocks aided accurate purposeful movement. Loved her temperament!

Mignano-Fricker & Fricker's Jack Russell Terrier, Moorbell Moon and Stars Over Calavey (Imp ITA). D. Eye-catching puppy with a balanced skull containing appealing dark eyes. Cobby body and clearly full of quality. Holds a secure level back with well set tail, carried well. A real show off!

Caldicott's Aritaur Cirilla With Philmont JW. Dobermann. B. Well-constructed and elegant. Super head. Lovely reach of neck and well sprung ribs. Strong straight parallel front legs with balanced rear angulations aided effortless reach and drive.

1. Vargen's Alphaville's It's So Easy (Imp Swe), D. 11 months and promising. Nicely proportioned. His head, eye and underjaw were pleasing. Ample length to neck; smooth shoulders set well under. Strong feet and short hocks aided positive movement which gave him the edge in the challenge. BP & BOВ.
2. Godber-Ford's Affynetta Desert Wind, D. 5 years. Nicely balanced head, leading to a long enough neck. OK for front angulation. Pleasing outline and well angulated rear.
3. Bovey's Sitana Infinity Stone At Shimonay.
Open 1 1. Godber-Ford's Affynetta Mountain Breeze, D. 5 years. Litter brother to 2nd in Graduate. Again a nicely proportioned head with strong jaw. Balanced body. OK for neck. Presented in good condition. OK forehand; strong rear drive. RBOB.

2. Carter's Gouvier Espresso Martini JW D. 3 years. Lovely character. Masculine Head. Compact in build. Not the topline or forehand of 1. Strong action from well angulated hindquarters. In super condition.

1. Quantick's Parkebreeway Rumour. D. 16 months Tri. Maturing nicely and of good breed type. Impressive well-proportioned head. Well placed neck of good length. Neat secure front assembly; correct feet. Strong topline. Correct tail set. Super mover. RBOB.
2. Barrow's Redcap Pretty Women at Maganjin. B. 21 months. I liked her a lot. Excels in size, overall proportions. Pleasing head with such a kind expression. Enough neck, firm topline, deep chest and good tail set and carried well. She was unsure on the move which was a pity.
3. Wojcik-Kalamus's Askel Mellow.

Barrow's Rosanka Sky Meganjin, B. 4 years. Very appealing head, which is correctly balanced giving such a kind expression. Nice type all through. Level topline, deep chest and well ribbed. She moved particularly well demonstrating both reach and drive which gave her the nod over 2.
2. Breeze's Dufosee Honestly Of Parkebreeway. B. 22 months. Another with a feminine head. Good for muzzle and bite. Low set ears. Ample length of neck. Deep chest and well sprung ribs. Secure topline. Well set tail. Close call.
3. Wojcik-Kalamus's Askel Mellow.

1. Scarlett's Vanitonia Enchanted Over Michelroy JW. B. 20 months. Impressive tricolour. Her balanced headpiece contains super eyes giving a melting expression coupled with strength and breath of muzzle. Firm topline. Her hindquarters were well developed being of ample width and depth. Her topline was secure, good ratio of brisket to elbow. Moved really well and attentive to handler at all times. BOВ.
2. Barrow's Redcap Knucklebones At Meganjin. B. 3 1/2. She produces a balanced outline but is carrying a tad too much weight. Super coat. Loved her head and expression. Correct ear set and bite. Shoulders well laid back; secure topline. Moved OK.

1. Thomas, Datta and Pinkerton's Menigma Stay With Me at Rockyhill. B. 13 months. I thought her most promising. Shapely throughout. I admired her head for proportions and expression. She has a an impressive front with chest developing. OK for neck. correct topline. Well angulated rear angulations which aided impressive light movement. BOВ.
2. Umfreville's Stubbylee Penderyn At Voyshka. D. 1 year old and was completely overalled so therefore restricted my examination to an absolute minimum. He is of a lovely shape and size.

1.Umfreville's Barnesmore Betelguese At Voyshka. D. 4 years. Well balanced classic head but would prefer ears a tad smaller. Elegant, classic, neck. Stands well. Hindquarters are well muscled. Good feet. OK forehand. Super Coat. RBOB.

2. Vargen's Jeque La Princesa Rosa De Podi (Imp SVN), 8 months. D. Giving some away in maturity to 1, but clearly promising. Correct front with the right depth from narrow ribcage. Nicely angled hindquarters. Moved well for his age. RBOВ.

Ears correctly on top all contributing to her super expression. Neat front assembly; tight cat feet. Short coupled body; correct spring of ribs. Solid round bone throughout. Muscular hindquarters with well-muscled second thighs. Exemplary show girl and at one with her handler at all times. BOB & G2.

2.Samson's Silak Never Miss A Beat, B. 2 years. Pleasing for type and balance. Feminine head with lovely eyes. Slightly arched neck of good length. Typical topline rising gently to a well-arched loin. Impressive ribcage. Well set tail. On the move she was not as settled as 1. RBОВ.

2. Jackman's Dryfevalley Golden Lullaby At Carnkie B. 7 years. Appealing mustard bitch. She has a lovely balanced head. OK for reach of neck. Goop width in front. Well bodied. Correct topline. Steady mover. RBOB.

2. Mullan's Watercroft Maybellene At Tamodan, B. Another with a very pretty feminine head. Good for neck and body. Liked her tail set and carriage. She moved steadily in all directions. Coat needs attention. Close call.

Deep chest, and wide rear. In excellent jacket. Moved smartly with accuracy and determination, and at all times holding her impressive outline. BOB.
2. Skudder & Caley's Les Huit Hadrien Del Colle Di Ottone (Imp ITA) TAF. D. 7 months. Another promising youngster. Head is balanced and contains expressive eyes; good dentition. Ears well set. Overall balanced in outline. OK for length of neck. Secure level topline. Tail set on well. Steady mover. RBOB, BPIB and PG4.

1. Warner's Talanors Time For Fun ShCEx. Manchester Terrier, D. Now 61/2 years and judged him a few years ago. I was delighted to see he has gained his title. Presented in fine order. Head has an impressive wedge and correct scissor bite. Well set ears. Super colour and complementary markings. This well balanced dog moved with accuracy and purpose. Best AVNSC Terrier.
2. Samson & Crawley's Ragus Pearl Maiden, 9 months. Norwich Terrier B. Giving a lot away in maturity to 1 but clearly is a very nice example of the breed. Well-made all through with good overall balance. Head of good breadth. Well laid shoulders. Good length and spring of ribcage. Short in loin. Strong hindquarters with well-turned stifles. Should do well. Reserve Best AVNSC Terrier.

2. Scanlan’s Sparkaway Jeepers Creepers Of Franmar B. 8 months and very promising. Scores in outline and shape. Feminine but not without substance. Head still to develop; good ear set. Pleasing reach of neck set well into shoulders, Firm top line. Steady mover. BPIB.

Body is well ribbed; strong loin and broad thighs. I liked his turn of stifle which produced effective movement. Attentive at all times and was presented in lovely coat. BOB
2. Glasspool and Gray’s Ungaro De Chester (Imp FRA), D. 2 years. Handsome youngster. Engaging eyes giving typical masculine expression. Good for neck. Pleasing leg length with plenty of air under his body, but would prefer him a shorter coupled. Well-made in front angulations and hindquarters. Moved well. RBOB.
