Boxer - 17 entries Puppy Dog 1 1st - Mrs R Stew's - Oswald Wonder Wilder - red & white 11 months, very boisterous puppy that I found hard to go over, dark well shaped eye, unable to examine mouth, good shape to head and correct ear set, fairly well balanced, would really benefit with more ring training. Junior Dog 2 (1) 1st - Misses S & S Carter's - Farvalley Major Luke at Susancar - Brindle 12 months, just into junior, nice well put together youngster, developing well, good proportions to head, dark well shaped eye, correct dentition, balanced frame with adequate bone, lovely topline and tail set, good angulation fore and aft. moved well. Post Graduate Dog 1 1st - Ms C & Mrs F Johnson & Pynegar's - Sashbob Never Would I Ever from Berwynfa JW - striking brindle, 2 years, beautiful balance throughout, good depth to chest, lovely shape to head, dark expressive eye and correct mouth, good length to neck into correct shoulder, well angulated fore and aft, a lovely exhibit with solid overall construction, moved with good reach and drive, definitely one to watch Open Dog 1 1st - Mrs V Van-Beck's - Newlaithe Respect JW - Outstanding brindle boy of excellent breed type, combining balance and strength, lovely head of good proportions, broad skull, well defined stop, muzzle deep, well filled and good width, correct mouth, dark expressive eye, broad nose, strong well muscled arched neck flowing into well laid shoulder, compact well muscled body, straight strong front legs, tight feet, good spring of rib, deep brisket, firm back and good tail set, well angulated and muscled fore and aft giving free, powerful and purposeful movement , presented as they all were in beautiful condition. BOB & Working Group 1 (judge Dr Ian Gabriel) Puppy Bitch 4(3) 1st - Mrs C Johnson's - Sashbob Miss'D Meana - 10 months, brindle, Quality puppy, showing maturity and ring presence already, well balanced throughout, lovely make and shape, head developing well, very pretty, dark eye and lovely expression, front starting to fill, good depth to chest and lovely well held topline, sound on the move, lovely potential for the future. BPIB & Puppy Group 2 (judge Nr Frank Borg) 2nd - Miss A Hudson's - Norwilbeck Bellchime A Star - 6 month- another lovely baby, giving a lot away on age, coming along well, showing a lot of promise, well balanced head with dark eye and lovely shape to head, very pleasing expression, growing well into frame and well off for bone, moved well. Junior Bitch 5 (4) 1st - Mrs LA Fay-Smith's - Lorrosa My Type on Paper - 16 months brindle, promising youngster, lovely breed type, well proportioned head with expressive dark eye, balanced frame with good bone, good length to neck into correct lay of shoulder, strong topline held well stood and moving, good depth to chest and nice spring of rib, well tucked up, good angulation which showed in her movement. Another presented in excellent condition. 2nd - Miss C & Miss J Murfin & Cobbledick's - Farvalley Goody Two Shoes - 12 months brindle, another of good breed type, confident youngster, lovely head shape, and body developing well, gave a little away to 1st in maturity, balanced frame with adequate bone, movement free and energetic. another with lots of potential for the future. Post Graduate Bitch 2 1st - Mrs V Van-Beck's - Diddle On Newlaithe JW - brindle, lovely well balanced head, lots of expression from dark well shaped eye and correct ears which she used. strong neck with good length, flowing into correct shoulder, this in turn flowing into strong topline, well developed chest and good spring of rib, well tucked up, pleasing overall outline, moved well 2nd - Miss C & Miss J Murfin & Cobbledick's - Jeddhi Spice it up at Farvalley - brindle, another well put together girl, well balanced head, with dark eye, correct mouth, good neck into correct shoulder placement, lovely outline and balance, another with good sound movement. Open Bitch 2 1st - Mrs LA Fay-Smith's - Lorrosa Senorita - brindle, very pretty girl, lovely proportions to head, dark eye, good ear set and soft mouth with correct dentition, good length and well arched neck, flowing into well placed shoulder, well balanced body to head ratio, good depth to chest and excellent spring of rib, well muscled throughout, strong straight bone to front legs, ending with lovely tight cat like feet, good angulation giving sound easy movement. RBOB 2nd - Miss C & Miss J Murfin & Cobbledick's - Farvalley Milyon Dollar Baby - well balanced, lovely feminine well proportioned head, dark eye, good strong neck into correct shoulder, strong topline leading to correct tail set, well angulated fore and aft, nice tight feet, another that excelled in movement. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Doberman - 14 entries Puppy Dog/Bitch 3(2) 1st - Mrs L Webb's - Shalissa's Into The Shallows - 9 months bitch - what a super girl for age, promising puppy of excellent breed type, alert and confident temperament, clean wedge shaped head with lovely proportions, well filled muzzle, dark eye, correct dentition, lovely ear set which complimented her head. Neck of good length, flowing into correct lay of shoulder, body developing well, good tone and muscle for a baby, adequate chest and fore chest, firm topline. Correct angulation fore and aft. Lovely tight feet. Coat in immaculate condition, Free and easy movement. Very smart youngster. BPIB, very happy to see her go on and take Working Puppy Group 1 (judge Mr Frank Borg) Junior Dog/Bitch 4 (1) 1st - Miss O Timm's - Aritaur Return To Play With Olijah - 12 months bitch - only just into junior class, but showing a great deal of early promise, good breed type and balance, front continuing to develop, clean head with dark eye, alert expression, correct scissor bite and correct ear set, nice length to neck into correct shoulder, good topline and tail set, Good angulation giving free easy movement around the ring. 2nd - Miss K Mc Gowan's - Aritaur Allegiance - litter sister to 1st and not much between them, similar attributes to 1st, loosing out as a little looseness in front on the move, which is quite expected at this age and will certainly improve as she matures. Post Graduate Dog/Bitch 5 (1) 1st - Mr N & Mrs J Pollard's - Manzart Yuliana At Whizzbean JW - 2 years bitch - Well proportioned feminine girl, dark eye, correct dentition, lovely ear set and great expression, long lean necking good shoulder, strong topline, well developed fore chest, good spring of rib and well tucked up, strong straight forelegs ending in tight feet, good rest angulation, moved well. 2nd - Miss JA & Mrs JA Groves & Hyett's - Lateagain Wish Upon A Star JW - 20 month male, another lovely example of the breed, good head proportions, lovely shape to eye, good depth and fill to muzzle, correct dentition, neat ears, good length to neck, correct topline, good angulation fore and aft, moved well. Open Dog/Bitch 3 (1) 1st - Mr G & Miss M Hut & Flitcroft's - Ch Tuwos Mr Majestik Vonsallate - Wow this dog took my breath away, shown in gleaming coat, ideal blend of power and precision, stunning head, clean well proportioned with correct places, giving alert expression, lovely shape to eye, correct scissor bite, well shaped muzzle, excellent length to neck, carrying that lovely head, neck flowing effortlessly into strong shoulder, well laid back, body compact and muscular, firm topline, deep chest and strong loin, well developed hindquarters which provided solid, effortless movement. BOB, upsetting to see his handler pulled a muscle in the group and had to pull out, as Im sure he would have been placed. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Newfoundland - 16 entries Puppy Dog/Bitch 3 1st - Miss C & Mr D Moore & James's - Starnewf Mr Dark Sky - just coming up onto 12 months dog , very nice youngster, good size already, showing lots of balance, well developed head for age, short square muzzle, dark eye, small well set ear, strong bone and frame, chest and body still developing but well on the way there, good neck into well laid shoulder, topline fairly steady, Coat dense and in lovely condition. Lovely well rounded feet. moved well with that typical roll even more pronounced in the youngsters. BPIB and Working Group 3 (judge Mr Frank Borg) 2nd - Ms S Blake's - Sandbears Magnus Opus - lovely puppy dog of just 6 months, giving so much away in this class, lovely balance to body and head, with the kindest expression, developing well, Big nose, dark eye, good bite. Lovely softness to muzzle, good length to neck into correct shoulder, topline good and tight for age, moved well, lots out daily on coat, his sadly was just coming, otherwise could easily have swapped places. Junior Dog/Bitch 2 (1) 1st - Miss C & Mr D Moore & James's - Starnewf Mr Dark Sky (1st in puppy) Post Graduate Dog/Bitch 3 (1) 1st - Mrs K Scott's - Sandbears Aerodynamic - 23 months male - Lovely breed type, in fabulous condition, pleasing head, starting to broaden across the skull, good depth and proportions to muzzle, good bite, dark eye, good ear set giving a soft expression, body well developed for age, good neck into well placed shoulders, good depth the chest and nice spring to rib, loin and quarters developing well, well rounded feet, overall a well balanced youngster with correct construction, moved very well in extreme heat. RBOB 2nd - Mrs G & Dr M Popple's - Mileoak Wishing on a Star JW - 18 months bitch, lovely feminine girl, again very good breed type, lovely balance throughout, dark eye, good dentition, soft muzzle. good strength to neck into good shoulder placement, strong topline ending in broad croup, well muscled, good spring to rib, strong leg and good angulation, moved well. Limit Dog/Bitch 4 (3) 1st - Mrs S Constable's - Valhalabears Just In Time - bitch, very good quality girl, shown in excellent condition given the weather, large feminine head, typical expression, dark kind eye, neat ears. good length and strength to neck into correct shoulder, nice tone overall, strong topline, lovely croup and tail set, substantial bone, with correct angulation, tight well rounded feet. Moved very well Open Dog/Bitch 5 (2) 1st - Ms S Blake's - Sandbears Twenty Two - 3 years male, impressive typey boy, head is a strong feature, broad skull, well developed occiput, clean cheeks and deep square muzzle, correctly set dark eye, and neat ears given soft expression, correct bite, powerful neck into well laid shoulders. Body showing excellent substance, deep chest and well sprung rib. firm topline held stood and on the move, going strong, and broad well padded croup, overall very well constructed boy who owned the ring on the move.
