Feminine yet powerful head with a slightly curved skull, moderate stop, and parallel muzzle. Dark, oval eyes show intelligence; pricked ears are wide at the base. Muscular neck flows into well-laid shoulders. Deep chest, well-sprung ribs, level back, and strong loins. Low-set tail. Well-muscled hindquarters with moderate angulation. She has a beautiful, well-proportioned head with a strong muzzle, prominent nose, and powerful jaws. Ears are well-set and erect; correct eyes expressive of intelligence and confidence. Her muscular neck flows into well-angulated shoulders and a well-developed chest with good depth and ribbing. She has a firm topline, broad back, and a slightly sloping croup leading to strong, short hindquarters. Thighs are broad and powerful; hocks well-let-down. She shows moderate angulation, tight feet, and a correctly set tail. Well-handled, she moves with strength, drive, and efficient ground cover—a promising young female of excellent type. BPIB


2nd Place: Milham’s Droyales One And Only At Shaddowhack (No. 493) - A 10 month old black saddle tan female of a different type to the previously viewed female. She has a slightly long neck and higher head carriage, contributing to a more upright profile. Her head is strong with a broad skull, well-set ears, expressive eyes, and a firm muzzle though slightly less refined than the prior female’s. She has a deep chest with good width, well-formed and long ribs, and a short, strong loin. Forequarters and hindquarters are well-developed, with good angulation and strong bone. Leg length and overall outline were preferred in the previous female. She moves well with purpose and reach, showing strength, balance, and confidence. A promising young female with solid structure.

1st Place: Waite’s Jojoba Wyoming (No. 498) - A 16-month-old black and tan male, medium-sized with excellent proportions. His developing, masculine head shows strength, with a defined stop and a muzzle tapering smoothly to the skull, creating parallel planes. Dark almond eyes convey an alert, intelligent expression. His powerful jaws, tight black lips, and well-defined cheeks add to his strong facial features. A moderately long, muscular neck sets well on a well-laid-back shoulder. The forechest is well-defined for his age, with parallel, straight forelegs. He has a deep chest, well-formed brisket, and ribs carried back into a moderate tuck-up and firm belly. Strong back, short loin, and well-muscled hindquarters complete his solid structure. He moves well, displaying strength and power. BOB

1st Place: Chapman’s Konatian Baggy Trouser (No. 489) A 2-year-old bi-color male with a powerful, muscular body full of substance. His strong, masculine head is well-proportioned in width and length. The skull and muzzle are parallel, with the muzzle tapering to a nice wedge shape. Dark brown, almond-shaped eyes are well-set, giving an alert expression. His strong jaws and prominent dark nose complement his masculine head. His neck is strong and muscular, setting well on well-laid shoulders. The chest is well-developed and not overdone, with good width and a deep, powerful brisket extending into a defined tuck-up and firm belly. He is slightly longer in the loin, which alters his overall silhouette. His broad back, strong hindquarters, and well-muscled thighs are excellent. Tail set just below the backline, and his coat is dense and unpretentious. He moves with strength and balance, his level topline is noted. RBOB.

2nd Place: Austen’s Deroaust’s Elara (No. 486) - A black saddle tan female, just shy of two years old. Her head is refined yet strong, well-proportioned to the body, with a slightly domed skull, defined stop, and parallel planes. The tapering muzzle, defined nose, strong jaw, and tight black lips enhance her feminine expression. Ears are high-set with good carriage, adding to her alert presence. She has a muscular neck flowing into well-laid-back shoulders. Her chest is well-developed with good width, and she stands on straight forelegs of good length and bone. A deep chest and strong brisket lead into a moderate tuck-up. Her topline falls slightly from the withers to a gently sloping croup and moderately short, well-muscled hindquarters. Thighs are broad, hocks strong and well-angulated, with good rear width. She has tight, compact feet and carries her tail well. Handled effectively and moves soundly, covering ground with ease. Out of coat today.

1st Place: Sharp’s Sharphouse’s Meridaleah (No. 496) - A 3-year-old black saddle tan female of good proportions, substance, and strong bone. Mature and in her prime, she shares a similar body type to the 2nd place Post Graduate class winner. Her head is balanced and feminine, with a domed forehead, gentle stop, and tapering, strong muzzle. Black nose, tight black lips, and good jaws complete a pleasing expression. She has a strong neck flowing into well-laid shoulders and developed forequarters. The chest is deep with a long, strong brisket and defined tuck-up. Her firm, broad back gently slopes from withers to a well-set croup and into moderately short, powerful hindquarters. Muscular thighs and well-angulated, parallel rear legs with good bone. Tail carriage is correct in stance and on the move. A powerful yet feminine female, handled well and moving with confidence, strength and balance.

2nd Place: Brown’s Swnynant Guiliana (No. 487) - A 5-year-old black saddle tan female with good proportions and balance. Her feminine head has a domed forehead, gentle stop, and tapering muzzle, parallel to the skull. High-set ears, well-set eyes, black nose, tight lips, and strong jaws create an alert expression. Her strong neck flows into well-developed forequarters, with good bone, well-laid-back shoulders, and straight forelegs. The chest is wide, deep, and has a long, strong brisket, carried into a moderate tuck-up. The back is firm and broad, with a gently sloping topline to short, powerful hindquarters. Muscular thighs, parallel rear legs, and well-angulated hocks. Tail reaches below the hocks. Tight feet, dense coat. Handled well, moving with confidence and ease.

Slightly long neck leading into a long, level back and extended croup. Moderate forechest, moderately broad chest to elbows. Upright shoulders, short forearms from side view. Straight and parallel forelegs. Moderate tuck-up, long loin. High-set wiry tail. Would prefer more thigh muscle. Hocks well down, round feet. Moves better behind than in front, but maintains breed type and balance.

Slightly arched croup and well-developed, powerful thighs. Tail carried low and relaxed. Moderate angulation front and rear. Dewclaws and well-arched, rounded feet. Full coat with a good undercoat, well-groomed. Two years ago, he was short in loin, but now he is a balanced, well-matured dog. He has sound conformation; he was out moved by the winner today. RBOB

Deep chest with well-sprung ribs, good width between forelegs, and moderate tuck-up. Strong, broad loins and slightly sloping croup. Powerful hindquarters with well-developed thighs. Tail carried low and plumed. Strong, well-let-down hocks and moderate angulation. Dewclaws. Correct coat with thick undercoat. Well-handled, with sound movement.

Her head is clean and well-proportioned, forming a soft blunt wedge with a slight stop. Appealing tapering muzzle, well-filled and balance giving her a classic, elegant expression. Dark, almond-shaped eyes are obliquely set, enhancing her gentle, intelligent look. Ears are correctly carried semi-erect, with tips falling forward, adding to her alert, sweet expression. She has a slightly longer neck and higher head carriage. Her shoulders are well laid-back, and her topline is still maturing. Ribs are beginning to spring, with a developing chest, well-angulated hindquarters, and well let down hocks. She moves with a light, smooth stride.

2nd Place: Rennison’s Zaniah’s Illusionist (No. 525). A 9-month-old blue merle male with a promising structure and masculine appearance. His broad face and correct ear carriage enhance his masculine look. His muscular neck arches smoothly into his well-formed back, improving his overall outline. He has a deep chest that reaches the elbows. His straight, parallel fore and rear legs are well-boned, and his good turn of stifles adds to his sound structure. His low-set tail completes his balanced profile. The heavy black markings on his head, cheeks, and flank will likely refine as he matures. He has a lovely temperament, showcasing intelligence and a calm demeanor, moving happily with his handler. Promising puppy.

On the move, he maintains a strong topline with good reach and drive.

Her flat skull is parallel to the muzzle, with a slight stop, and she has typical ear carriage. Oval, obliquely set eyes complement her sweet, intelligent expression. Her flat cheeks blend smoothly into the muzzle, with a black nose and tight lips. She has a good neck length that flows into well-laid-back shoulders, and her forechest is of good width. Her straight forelegs, strong pasterns, and level topline arch gently into a strong rear, with broad thighs and good rear angulation. She carries a low-set tail and has a textured, long harsh coat. She moves well, though not in full coat, which cost her the win.

His neck is muscular, flowing into well-developed forequarters and strong, straight forelegs. His chest is deep and wide, with well-sprung ribs. His back is firm and broad, with a level topline. The hindquarters are powerful and muscular with moderate angulation and parallel rear legs. On the move, he shows free flowing, balanced gait with quick, athletic movement. 2nd Place: Day’s Starvon Binit Sinit Dunit With Kirkholme  (No. 529) - A 7.5-year-old female, she is a very pretty and feminine example of the breed. Her head is refined, well-balanced, and distinctly feminine. She has strong bone structure, with well-developed forequarters. Her chest is wide, and her straight, parallel forelegs are sturdy. Her shoulders are well-laid back, and her ribcage is deep, well-sprung, enhancing her overall proportion. She has a firm, level back with short loins, and her croup gently slopes into balanced hindquarters. Her thighs are muscular, and her hocks are strong and well-let-down. She has well-knuckled, tight feet. On the move, she is graceful and efficient, demonstrating the fluidity typical of the breed. A lovely, mature female with much to appreciate in form and function.
