1. Ware’s Millubie Parachute Into Wassail (Imp Srb) Naf Taf. Two pleasing youngsters here who show much promise. My winner was found in this 9 mth old sable bitch who was so good to go over. Feminine all through, she pleased in outline with nicely arched neck, firm topline with slight rise over the loin, ribbing developing as it should, correct croup and tail of correct carriage. Attractive head with good proportions and planes, slight stop, eyes good for colour, size and placement, pleasing ears, clean cheeks and correct dentition. I liked her angles front and rear and she had a good stride when viewed in profile. Reserve BOB, Best Puppy and later took Puppy Group 4.
2. Lockyer’s Gataj Just Like Jesse James. Unfortunately this 7 mth old sable dog wasn’t entirely comfortable on the go around and therefore had to settle for this placement. Having said that, he very much appealed and I thought him such a good type and he presented an excellent outline. Well arched neck of correct length to balance, firm back line, good depth to brisket, ribbed well back and tail pleased for set and carriage. Super headed pup with correct proportions, planes and stop, expressive obliquely placed eyes, very good ears, clean cheeks, very good underjaw and scissor bite. He stands true in front on excellent feet. On the down and back, he is correct coming towards but a little closer behind. Good quality coat.

Balanced headpiece with flat skull, excellent eye and ear, slight stop, clean cheeks and scissor bite. She stands nice and straight in front, has excellent feet and is well angulated in the rear. On the move, she is excellent coming towards and carries herself well. Good texture to coat.
2. Patman & Grainger’s Samhaven Sound Effects. 7 yr old sable bitch. Feminine throughout, this veteran girl has an excellent neck which is well arched, correct in topline and croup and she carries her tail low as desired. Head of good proportions with flat skull, slight stop, expressive eyes of good size and placement, pleasing ears and strength to underjaw. Good angulation both ends and she stands on pretty good feet. When gaiting, she has a nice length of stride and was ok coming and going. Good coat.

Like the winner, this girl has nice dark eyes but not quite the shape I was looking for, ears are ok, stop a touch more pronounced but she is correct for dentition. She stands well naturally and has correct oval-shaped feet. Moving ok but winner had the edge today. Profuse coat.

Quality head of good proportions, expressive oval-shaped eyes and scissor bite. Soundly constructed all through and still moving with ease and using himself as he goes. Excellent coat. He also made my Group shortlist today.
