1. Welburn’s Oshowa Love to Dream. 10 mth old blue belton bitch who was a comfortable winner in this class. Elegant with a pleasing outline; slightly arched neck, firm topline, ribbed well back and tail of correct set and carriage. Well proportioned feminine headpiece with expressive eyes, well defined stop and moderate depth to muzzle. Pleasing angles and moves out with good length of stride. Front not perfect but nothing untoward. Best Puppy.
2. Beasley’s Latjeata Jack’s The Lad. 6 mth old blue belton dog who carries nice bone. Good outline with neck of correct length to balance, level back, rib developing well for age and tail good for both set and carriage. Pleasing head and expression; very good eyes and ears set on low. Good rear assembly with well bent stifles but standing a little untidy in front right now and also needs to tighten when coming towards.

1. Welburn’s Oshowa Just A Dream. 10 mth old blue belton bitch who I see is litter sister to the previous class winner. This girl also presented a nicely balanced outline and has the elegance of the breed. Lean neck of good length to give balance, short level back, pleasing rib and feathered tail of good carriage. Feminine head of good proportions, oval-shaped eyes of good colour, ears set on low and scissor bite. Moves freely on the down and back but could open up a tad more on the go around.
2. Beasley’s Latjeata Cup of Kindness. 6 mth old orange belton bitch. This girl is quite different to the winner. Neck of pleasing length, firm back but somewhat shorter and tail carried higher than preferred. Nicely proportioned head with feminine expression; lovely eye and ears set on low. Pretty good angles front and rear and she stands on good feet.

1. Welburn’s Oshowa Dream Come True. 3 yr blue belton bitch who I felt was a comfortable winner in this class. Full of femininity, she presented a nicely balanced outline with muscular lean neck, firm level topline, pleasing rib and feathered tail of correct carriage. Attractive head and expression; good skull to muzzle proportions, well defined stop, good eye and ear and correct dentition. Pleasing angles and she stands straight in front on nice tight feet. Moves out well in profile with good carriage and pleased when coming towards. BOB.
2. Williamson’s Hawklawn Jazzella. 2 yr old blue belton/tan bitch. This girl presented a pleasing outline with neck of correct length, level back, good length to ribcage and tail of correct set and carriage. Feminine head with correct proportions, oval-shaped eyes and ears set on low. Standing true in front on good feet. Moving pretty well on the go around but winner had the edge. Coat not quite what I was looking for.

1. Beasley’s Wansleydale Amaretto at Latjeata. 7 yr old blue belton/tan bitch. Feminine girl, full of desired elegance and pleasing for outline. Lean, slightly arched neck, level topline and feathered tail of good set and carriage. Nicely proportioned head with eyes of good colour and ears set on low. Pleasing angulation both ends and she stands on nice tight feet. Moving well on the down and back and gaited well on the go around too. Well handled. Reserve BOB.
2. Beasley’s Wansleydale Mayflower at Latjeata. 3 yr old blue belton bitch. Neck of pleasing length, firm topline and tail of correct set and carriage but preferred overall outline of winner. Feminine headpiece with good skull to muzzle proportions, well defined stop, lovely eye giving mild expression and ears set on nice and low. Could stand tidier in front and down and back action could not compete with 1, however she went well when viewed in profile.

1. Barrett’s Barold Forever Faithful. 10 mth old white/orange bitch. This youngster very much appealed. Carrying lovely bone, she scored for overall type and presented a super outline. Muscular neck of correct length to balance, characteristic breed topline, excellent ribbing for age and broad loin. Quality head and expression with good proportions, divergent planes, excellent eye ears of correct set. Good angles front and rear and moved well all through. Correct texture to coat. Reserve BOB and Best Puppy.
2. Culling’s Lucoru Punchinello. 8 mth old white/orange dog. All male, this pup carries lovely bone and also pleased for outline with muscular neck, correct topline, good length to ribcage which is developing well and tail good for set and carriage. Divergent head planes, expressive eyes placed well apart, ears of correct set and scissor bite. He needs to broaden all through but he has plenty of time. Moving ok but could not compete with action of winner.
3. De Grave’s Stowledge Sahara

2. De Grave’s Stowledge Sahara. 8 mth old white/orange bitch. This youngster is somewhat narrow all through right now and needs time. Neck of correct length to balance, topline slopes downwards and then rises as desired and docked tail. Feminine headpiece with divergent planes, ears of correct set and scissor bite. Still retaining puppy coat.

1. Cruse’s Inostricani Top That. Varied class which saw this 2 yr old white/orange bitch win with some room to spare. She pleased for type and carries good bone. Muscular neck, correct topline for the breed, deep brisket, well sprung ribs, broad loin and tail of correct set. Feminine head with divergent planes, expressive eyes, ears set on correctly and depth to muzzle. She stands true in front and moved out well on the go around. Not quite in full coat on the day.
2. McGregor & Wright’s Diggmere Marys Chi Bloom. 2 yr old white/orange dog who presented a nice square outline. Muscular neck, correct topline without exaggeration, good depth to chest, pleasing rib and broad loin. Masculine head of good proportions, correct planes and lovely eye and ear. Carrying good bone, he stands nice and straight in front with a well developed forechest. Not quite action of winner and tail carried higher than preferred.
3. Davies’ Fiducia Everest

1. James’ Sh Ch Inostricani Fianna. 5 yr old white/orange bitch. Quality girl who was a pleasure to go over. I thought her a super type and she presented a beautifully balanced outline. Muscular neck of correct length to balance, characteristic topline of the breed, good depth to brisket, excellent ribbing, broad muscular loin, slope to croup and tail of correct carriage. Super head and expression; good skull to muzzle proportions, divergent planes, best of eyes, ears of correct set, good depth to muzzle and scissor bite. Good angles front and rear and certainly didn’t let herself down when gaiting; moving freely on the down and back and opening up well on the go around. Excellent quality coat. BOB and later my choice for Group 1 in a very good group.
2. Lea’s Piccolonoce Vanilla Crunch. White/orange bitch of 5 yrs. Not shown in the best of coats but this girl was good to go over. Pleasing outline with sufficient neck, good topline, good depth to chest, ribbing carried well back, well-muscled loin and tail good for set and carriage. Nicely proportioned head with feminine expression, lovely eye, correct ears and divergent planes. She is well off for bone and stands nice and straight in front. Moves out well in profile but winner had the edge.

1. Topliss’ Beresford Stand At Ease. 8 mth old liver/white dog. Quality pup who very much appealed. Balanced outline with slightly arched neck of good length, firm topline, good length to ribcage with rib developing well, muscular loin and well feathered tail of good set and carriage. Masculine headpiece with kind expression, ears of correct set, flat cheeks and scissor bite with good sized teeth. Good angles both ends, standing true in front with good forechest and compact feet. Moving freely with particularly good profile action and carriage. Reserve BOB, Best Puppy and later Puppy Group 4.
2. Topliss’ Beresford Stand Aside. Liver/white bitch who turned out to be littermate to the winner. This youngster has lots to like too and is so very well balanced with clean, muscular neck, firm through the topline, ribbed well back and tail of good carriage. Attractive head, full of femininity, well proportioned, expressive eyes which blend with coat colour, ears good for length and set and scissor bite. Excellent front action and opens up well on the go around.

1. Topliss’ Beresford Stand On Ceremony. The first two here were also littermates to the two pups in the previous class. This liver/white bitch came out on top here and was so good hands on. Balanced outline with good length of neck, firm topline, ribbing carried well back, muscular loin and tail good for both set and carriage. Quality headpiece with fairly broad skull, expressive almond-shaped eyes, ears set in line with eye, chiselling developing well and good dentition. Carrying good bone, she has good angles front and rear, stands true on nice tight feet and moved out well.
2. Topliss’ Beresford Stand N’ Stare. Liver/white dog who appealed for overall type and carries lovely bone. Neck of good length but doesn’t quite flow into the withers as well as the other littermates, firm in topline, pleasing rib development and feathered tail good for set and carriage. Super headed youngster with excellent skull, best of eyes, ears set on just right and good dentition. Pleasing angles and stands nice and straight in front with a well developed forechest for age. Goes well in profile and when coming towards but winner had edge going away.
3. Williams & Toublic’s Cobhay Heavenly Hydrangea

1. Topliss’ Shersona I Believe In Angels at Beresford. I really liked the first two here and it was a very close call. My winner was this 2 yr old black/white bitch who was so good to go over, totally feminine and carrying very good bone. Slightly arched neck of good length to balance, firm in topline, good depth to chest, well sprung ribs and well feathered tail of correct carriage. Nicely proportioned head with feminine expression; excellent eye and ear and scissor bite. Shoulders well laid and stands true in front on excellent feet. Covering the ground when gaiting.
2. Frusher & Slack’s Chanangel When You Believe at Shersona. 2 yr old liver/white bitch. Soundly constructed girl who was shown to advantage here and put down in first class coat and condition. She presented a compact outline with muscular neck of correct length to give balance, firm through the topline, very good rib and feathered tail of correct carriage. Most attractive head and expression, correct skull, almond-shaped eyes of good colour, ears set in line with eyes and flat cheeks. Good angles both ends and stands well naturally in front with a good forechest. Opens up well when gaiting.

1. Topliss’ Sh Ch Beresford Lockdown. 4 yr old liver/white dog. For me this lad was a comfortable winner in this class. All male, well boned and so good hands on. He presented a super outline with clean, muscular neck of good length, firm straight back, excellent ribbing, well-muscled loin and well feathered tail set on low and of correct carriage. Super head and expression; fairly broad skull, almond-shaped eyes of good colour, ears set on just right, flat through the cheeks and excellent chiselling. Soundly constructed front and rear and moving freely with such good carriage. Very well presented and my choice for BOB and later went on to take Group 3.
2. Frusher’s Dexbenella Fenella at Shersona. 5 yr old liver/white bitch. Feminine all through, this girl pleased in outline with good length of neck, firm topline, good depth to brisket, ribbed well back and tail good for set and carriage. Attractive head with excellent eye and ear, good proportions and scissor bite. She is well made both ends and stands nice and straight in front on compact feet and also pleased in forechest. When gaiting, she moved well all through but winner had the edge. She has the best of temperaments and was well handled here.

1. Norbury & Adkins-Fry’s Bedeslea Pradasphere. 8 mth old Lagotto Romagnolo bitch. This young pup presented a nicely balanced outline with slightly arched neck, compact body with straight topline, rib developing nicely for age, short in the couplings and tail good for set and carriage. Most attractive head and expression; pleasing eye and ear and scissor bite. She stands nice and straight in front and has very good feet. Moving freely on the go around. Reserve Best AVNSC Gundog and Best Puppy AVNSC Gundog.

1. Drozdova’s Maliik Team Del Crepo (Imp Srb). 20 mth old orange/white Brittany dog. Rather unsettled but of pleasing type. Square in outline with moderate length of neck, short back with straight topline which slopes slightly as desired, ribbed well back and muscular loin. Masculine head and expression; nice dark eye, correct ears and good dentition. He stands on compact feet and moved out pretty well on the go around but needs to improve on the down and back.

1. Williams & Drozdova’s Sh Ch Bonapartist Peaky Blinder avec Aukskara. 5 yr old orange/white Brittany dog. Quality lad who I thought an excellent type and presenting such a good outline. Muscular neck of correct length to balance, short back with slight slope to topline, deep chest, first class ribbing, short in the couplings and correct croup. Masculine headpiece with correct proportions, expressive eyes, ears set on high, moderate stop and correct dentition. Soundly built front and rear and stands well naturally on very good feet. Moves out with characteristic gait and uses himself as he goes. Best AVNSC Gundog and later made the group shortlist.

1. Adams’ Keigame Mystique Aurora. 9 mth old German Shorthaired Pointer bitch. Promising youngster who was good to go over and very well handled here. She pleased in outline with slightly arched neck, short back with firm topline, ribbing developing well, muscular loin and correct croup leading to docked tail of good set. Feminine headpiece with very good eye and ear and correct dentition. Good angles front and rear, standing true in front on good feet and moved out freely all through.
2. Jacobs & Reynolds’ Secret Blue Dress Basteta for Gemswin (Imp Ltu). 9 mth old Flat Coated Retriever bitch. Another with so much to like and was good hands on. Feminine throughout, she pleased for outline with clean neck flowing into well laid shoulders, firm topline, short in the couplings and tail correct for both set and carriage. Quality head and expression; lovely eye, slight stop and good dentition. Soundly constructed and stands nice and straight in front on correct feet. Moving freely. Super temperament.

All male, he presented a nicely balanced outline with long, slightly arched neck, firm topline and nice short loin and tail of correct carriage. Moderate breadth to skull, expressive eyes, characteristic muzzle and scissor bite. Strong oval bone and pleasing angulation both ends, standing straight in front on well arched toes. Moving in typical fashion and very well handled.
2. Williams & Toublic’s Cobhay Heavenly Hydrangea. 17 mth old English Springer Spaniel bitch. Soundly constructed girl who was expertly handled here but needs more time. Neck of good length, firm in topline, ribbed well back, muscular loin and feathered tail of correct carriage. Feminine headpiece with pleasing eye and ear and scissor bite. She stands well naturally and has good feet. Gaiting true on the down and back.

1. Pipes & Groves’ Bushwacker Don Juan JW. 18 mth old Bracco Italiano dog. This young male very much appealed and was so good to go over. Strong, upstanding lad carrying good bone and presented in firm, hard condition. He presented a lovely outline with muscular neck, firm topline, excellent ribbing and broad well-muscled loin. Masculine head with excellent eye, ears of correct set, divergent planes and good dentition. Good angles both ends and moved soundly with good carriage.
2. McQuade’s Gemswin River of Dreams. 3 yr old Flat Coated Retriever bitch. This girl pleased in outline with neck of correct length, firm through the topline, good length to ribcage and tail of correct set which is carried gaily. Clean feminine headpiece with expressive eyes. She has pleasing angles both front and rear and stands true in front on good feet. Moves out very well on the go around.

1. Williams & Toublic’s Cobhay Fancy Phlox. 6 yr old English Springer Spaniel bitch who I see is the dam of the girl placed 2nd in the previous class. Another who is soundly built and she pleased hands on. Good length of neck and correct in topline but a shade longer. She has good angles front and rear, stands straight in front on compact feet and is well muscled all through. Moves out well with good carriage.
2. Salt’s Levelmoor Acorn Antiques via Wetnoses. 5 yr old Flat Coated Retriever bitch who presented a nicely balanced outline with clean neck of correct length to balance, pleasing topline, correct ribbing, short in the couplings and good tail carriage. Attractive head with feminine expression, eye of good shape and colour and correct dentition. She carries good bone and moved out well on the go around.

2. Bowler’s Sh Ch Winterwell Iggy Inch JW. 3 yr old German Shorthaired Pointer dog. This lad was so good to go over and presented in super nick and shown to advantage. He is so good in outline with slightly arched neck of correct length to balance which flows into well laid shoulders, short back with firm topline, good depth to chest, muscular loin and correct croup. Clean headpiece with masculine expression; expressive eyes, ears set on high and powerful jaws. Good angulation both ends and moved out so well on the go around with excellent ground coverage.

4. Mappin’s Bryerdale Qangeroo (AI). 4 yr old Gordon Setter bitch shown in super coat and condition and was so good hands on. Feminine all through with the most beautiful head and expression; well proportioned with slightly rounded skull, lovely dark eye and ears set on just right. Clean, arched neck of correct length to give balance, good depth to chest, excellent ribbing and tail correct for both set and carriage. Covers the ground when viewed in profile and so very well handled here.

1. Harrison’s Clonageera Summer Dreams at Millpoint. 10 mth old Irish Setter bitch. Feminine throughout, this youngster presented a lovely flowing outline with clean neck of correct length to give balance, firm topline sloping as desired, good length to ribcage with rib developing well for age and well-muscled loin. Well laid shoulders, stands well naturally and firm hindquarters with good turn of stifle. Most attractive head and expression; long and lean with kind eye, ears set on low and correct dentition. Moving freely with good carriage and so well handled.
2. Jennings’ Alibama Dot to Dot. 9 mth old American Cocker Spaniel dog. This youngster was close up to the winner here. Carrying good bone, he presented a compact outline and was so good to go over. Clean neck of good length, firm topline sloping slightly towards the rear, ribbed well back and nice and short in the couplings. Attractive head with rounded skull, expressive eyes, ears of correct set, breadth to muzzle and correct dentition. Pleasing angles both ends and moved out freely and used himself as he went.
3. Clack, Clack, Battle-Hunter & Eddery’s Krisbos Leonidas with Molokain (IKC). 9 mth old Curly Coated Retriever dog. One I have done well for previously. He pleased for type and has the degree of elegance required for the breed. Slightly arched neck of correct length to balance, level topline, pleasing rib development for age, well muscled loin and tail correct for both set and carriage. Masculine head of good proportions and planes, expressive eyes and scissor bite. Opens up well on the go around with good self carriage. Good quality coat.
4. Topliss’ Beresford Stand At Ease. English Springer Spaniel
Isle of Ely Early Post Graduate Stakes – Day 2 (41,25)
1. Duffield’s Meiho Kensha Akioshiro Go. Some very nice dogs challenged in this class with this 20 mth old red fawn Japanese Akita Inu dog coming out on top. Well balanced and scoring for type, he was also so good hands on. Moderate length to his crested neck, firm level back, good length to ribcage, nice short loin and curled tail set on high. Quality headpiece with breadth to skull, super eye and ear, correct length of muzzle to balance and correct dentition. Moderate angles front and rear and moves out freely.
2. Gee’s Watercroft Tiger Lilly. 10 mth old Norfolk Terrier bitch. Most promising youngster who was close up here. She appealed for type and presented a lovely compact outline correct length of neck to balance, firm through the topline, ribbed well back, short in the couplings and good tail set. Feminine head of good proportions, keen dark eye, strong muzzle and scissor bite. She stands true and didn’t disappoint when gaiting. Good texture to jacket.

1. Satherley, Satherley & Bye’s Silkcroft Crystal Ball (AI). 10 mth old bitch with so much to like. Feminine throughout with a lovely balanced outline; moderately long neck, firm in topline, pleasing rib development for age, muscular loin and tail set on high. Attractive head and expression of good proportions, flat skull, expressive eyes of good colour, correct ears and good dentition. She moves out well when viewed in profile but just needs to firm up in front. Reserve BOB.

1. Satherley, Satherley & Bye’s Silkcroft Perfect Symmetry (AI). This 10 mth old dog is the litter brother to the winner of the previous class and they certainly are of a type. This lad was so good to go over and I thought him a great prospect. Correct length of neck to provide balance, firm topline, good length to ribcage, firm loin and tail correct for set and carriage. Quality headpiece of good proportions, flat skull, expressive eyes, parallel planes, strong jaws and correct dentition. Soundly built all through and moved freely when viewed from all angles. BOB & Best Puppy.

1. Lloyd’s Kalostaff Es Lo Que Es JW. 2 yr old black brindle dog. Pleasing lad who presented a good outline with muscular length of correct length to balance, level topline, ribbing extending well back, firm loin and tail correct for set. Balanced head with breadth to skull, correct eye shape, rose-shaped ears and scissor bite. He stands on good feet with width in front and moved freely. Shown in excellent muscle-tone and condition. BOB.
2. Haworth’s Fairlenium’s Moon Knight. 2 yr old black brindle dog. Correct length of neck, firm topline, short in the couplings and tail set on low. This boy is quite different in head and expression to winner; pleasing breadth of skull, rose-shaped ears, strong underjaw and correct dentition. He stands correctly in front and has a good turn of stifle. Not quite action of winner.

1. Haworth’s Aixit Rosie Bluebell. 20 mth old black brindle bitch. Powerful girl carrying good bone. Muscular neck, very good topline, well sprung ribs and tail pleased for both set and carriage. She has strength to head but retains femininity; correct ears, eyes are dark enough, short muzzle and scissor bite. Stands well naturally and has width in front. Moving freely. Reserve BOB.
2. Rowland’s Bilrosestaff Shes The One. 3 yr old black brindle bitch. This girl has a tad more length to her and therefore wasn’t quite as good in outline as 1. Pleasing neck, excellent topline, ribbing could be tad more developed, tail set on low and of good carriage. Feminine headpiece with very good eye and ear, correct short foreface and scissor bite. Stands with width in front and moved out freely.
3. Parry & Gill’s Leebee’s Zakiyah at Saxstaff

1. Kisby’s Genmerian Ellsworth. 2 yr old dog who pleased in head and expression with good skull to muzzle proportions, dark eyes, distinct stop, nice dark pigmentation and excellent dentition. Pleasing neck but I would like a little more breadth all through. Nicely angulated hindquarters. Moving pretty well all through but insisted on keeping his nose to the ground. Reserve BOB.

1. Welbourn’s Zumarnik Made You Look. Quality 2 yr old dog who was shown here in super coat and condition. I thought him correct for type and he presented a lovely outline with correct length of neck, super ribbing, short in the couplings and tail set on well. Attractive head and expression, lovely dark pigmentation and scissor bite. He stands straight in front and elbows are close to body. A tad exuberant on the move but when settled went so well in profile. BOB.

1. Reid’s Swansford Daphnedora at Maudaxi. 16 mth shaded red bitch. This girl pleased for overall type and presented a pleasing outline with slightly arched neck of good length, firm in topline with ribbing carried well back, correct croup and tail of good carriage. Nicely proportioned head with feminine expression, super eye, ears of correct set and scissor bite. When gaiting, she moves out with nice length of stride and is nice and parallel when going away but not quite as good coming towards. Reserve BOB.

1. Reid’s Cavallibrook One Final Kiss at Maudaxi. 18 mth shaded red bitch. Feminine all through and another who appealed for type. She has sufficient length of neck, correct topline, excellent ribbing, short in the couplings and tail good for both set and carriage. Well constructed front and rear, prominent sternum and stands on very good feet. Moving parallel on the down and back and pleased on the go around too. Good quality coat and presentation. BOB.
2. Foley’s Loggeta Wynn By Myles at Clavennae. 4 yr old red bitch who pleased in outline with slightly arched neck, firm topline, correct croup and tail, however I would have liked more length to ribcage. Balanced headpiece with ears of correct set, eye of good colour but not quite shape of those of winner and correct dentition. She moves well when coming and going and went pretty well on the go around.

1. Wood’s Faulksfollie Lady Gemima. 7 yr old black/tan bitch with strong bone. She presented a balanced outline with neck of good length, correct topline and tail pleased for both set and carriage. Femine head with good skull to muzzle proportions and scissor bite. Pleasing front assembly with good sternum and keel and correct return of upper arm. Went ok when gaiting but would just have liked a tad more drive from the rear.

1. May’s Scrumptious Red On The Dot. This was a rather varied class and my winner was found in this 7 mth old red dog who was the most pleasing hands on. Neck of good length to balance, firm topline, pretty good length to ribcage and tail good for set and carriage. Eyes of correct colour, ears set on high, slight arch to muzzle and good dentition. Could use a tad more forechest but he has good rear angulation. Scored here on the go around. Best Puppy.
2. Aneke’s Dachadam Hopes and Dreams. 11 mth old red bitch who presented a balanced outline with slightly arched neck, firm topline, slight slope to croup and tail of correct carriage but I would have liked a shorter loin. Feminine head and with dark expressive eyes, ears set on high and scissor bite. She moved out pretty well on the go around but the winner had the edge today.

Feminine youngster with firm topline, correct croup and tail for both set and carriage but would like to have seen a touch more neck. Eyes of good colour, ears set on high and correct scissor bite. Still to fully develop in forechest but has pleasing rear angulation.

1. Taverner’s Brackenfire My Honey Bee at Tavertekal. 12 mth old black/tan bitch who comfortably won this class for me. Pleasing outline with slightly arched neck, correct topline, good length to ribcage and tail of good carriage. Nicely proportioned head with eye of good colour and ears set on well. Prominent sternum, good angles both ends and moves out well when viewed in profile. Reserve BOB.

Attractive head of good proportions with feminine expression, almond-shaped eyes, ears set on high and good dentition. Moves out very well on the go around with good carriage. Good quality coat. BOB.
2. Pretty’s Jaxrubydax Just Bernice. 5 yr old black/tan bitch. Pleasing topline, slight slope to croup and tail of good carriage but another who would benefit from more length to neck. Feminine head of pleasing proportions, correct scissor bite but eye a little prominent. Moving pretty well all through.

1. Wood’s Hundpoint Meena Tils. This 4 yr old black/tan bitch was the only Smooth from an entry of 6 to turn up on the day. Unfortunately she wasn’t entirely settled on the table. Very good length of neck, firm topline, correct croup and tail carriage but would like more length to ribcage. Feminine head of good proportions, very nice eye, ears of correct set, slight arch to muzzle and good bite. Lovely keel and layback of shoulder and nice firm hindquarters. Extends well on the go around. BOB.

He was good to over and presented a lovely outline with slightly arched neck of good length to balance, firm topline, super rib for age, short loin, correct croup and tail for set and carriage. Masculine headpiece of correct proportions, expressive eyes, ears of correct set, slight arch to muzzle and good dentition. Good angles front and rear, excellent keel and moved well all through. 2. Douglas’ Debbiejay Pippa Funnel mit Kieferjagen. Chocolate/tan bitch of 7 mths. Nicely balanced with neck of good length, pleasing topline, ribbing carried well back, short loin and tail of correct carriage. Feminine in head with pretty good proportions but not quite expression of winner. Prominent sternum and standing well in front on good feet. Moving out with good carriage but winner had the edge.

1. Kent’s Lokmadi Don’t Bring Lulu. 15 mth old black/tan bitch who appealed for type and outline. Excellent neck, firm through the topline, slight slope to croup and tail good for both set and carriage. Pleasing front assembly with good keel and return of upper arm and stands on good feet. Quality head of correct proportions, expressive almond-shaped eyes and slight arch to muzzle. Goes so well when viewed in profile and more than ok on the down and back.

She is very good in topline, has pleasing rib development for age, slight slope to croup and tail of good carriage. 3. Foley’s Loggeta Lucky Swirl at Clavennae

1. Bullingham’s Rozamie Making Magic. 2 yr old shaded red bitch. Nicely balanced with slightly arched neck, correct topline, ribbing carried well back, short in the couplings, correct croup and tail for set and carriage. Correctly proportioned head with feminine expression, eyes ok for shape, slight arch to muzzle and scissor bite. She has good angles both ends and moved out well on the go around and pleased fore and aft too.
2. Hambling’s Chaseover Pascala. 22 mth old black/tan bitch who is out of a larger mould than the winner and not entirely settled on the day. Clean neck of good length, firm topline, ribbing could be carried further back, correct croup and tail of good carriage. Good skull to muzzle proportions with feminine expression, dark eyes of good shape, ears set on high and good dentition. Pleasing keel and went pretty well when viewed in profile.

1. Corominas’ Scenterbay Rafael for Ruichango. 19 mth old shaded red dog. I thought this young lad a super type and he presented a lovely outline. Long, muscular neck, excellent topline, correct croup and tail for set and carriage. Masculine head of good skull to muzzle proportions, eyes of good colour, ears set on well, slight arch to muzzle and correct dentition. Good angles front and rear, excellent keel and stands on good feet. Excels on the go around with good carriage but BOB just had the edge when coming towards. Reserve BOB.
2. Kent’s Lokmadi Oh What A Circus. 3 yr old black/tan bitch. This girl also pleased and presented a nicely balanced outline with good length of neck, correct topline, muscular loin but with a tad more length, slight slope to croup and tail of good carriage. Most attractive head and expression, almond-shaped eyes, slight arch to muzzle and scissor bite. Well constructed forequarters and stands well naturally. Pleasing on the down and back but winner had the edge when viewed in profile.

1. Corner’s Carcorn Chrissy’s Girl. Two very different exhibits challenged in this class, My winner was this 7 mth old wild boar bitch who scored for overall balance. Muscular neck, firm topline, pleasing length to ribcage and slight slope to croup. Nicely proportioned head with pleasing expression; dark eyes of good shape, ears set on high and correct dentition. She stands well in front on good feet and moved pretty well all through. Best Puppy.
2. Dickinson’s Dakotadax Legend of Zelda. 9 mth old wild boar bitch. Right now I felt she has a touch more daylight beneath, however she has a super length of neck, is firm in topline, ribbing developing well for age and tail of good carriage. Well proportioned head with good eye and ear, slight arch to muzzle and scissor bite. Pleasing angles front and rear. Good texture to coat.

Lovely length of neck which is slightly arched, correct topline, ribbing carried well back, correct croup and tail carriage. Head of good proportions, expressive eyes, ears set on well, slightly arch muzzle and correct dentition. She has a good keel and front assembly and also pleased in hindquarters. Goes so well on the go around with good carriage. BOB.
2. Dickinson’s Derdledash Skyfall at Dakotadax. 12 mth wild boar bitch who was also good hands on and carries strong bone. A little more length than the winner, long slightly arched neck, nice and firm in topline and tail carried correctly. Very nice expression; good skull to muzzle proportions, dark eyes of correct shape and scissor bite. Pleasing angulation front and rear and also open up well in profile.

1. Lowe’s Nasiriyah’s Last Kiss. 2 yr old wild boar bitch. Not entirely settled but this girl pleased for type and was good to go over. Muscular neck, correct topline, ribbing carried well back, strong loin and tail of good carriage. Feminine headpiece of pleasing proportions, expressive eyes and good dentition. Good keel and layback of shoulder and moved out nicely on the go around.
2. Coverley’s Aventine The Poacher. 19 mth old wild boar dog. This lad has an excellent length of neck, is nice and firm in topline, correct slope to croup and tail of good carriage. Balanced head with masculine expression, eyes of good colour, slight arch to muzzle and scissor bite. Not quite sternum of winner but he stands true in front. Could extend a tad more in front on the go around. Good coat.

Good sternum and keel and pleasing angles front and rear. She moves out very well when viewed in profile and is nice and parallel when going away. Reserve BOB.

Feminine throughout, she pleased in outline with clean neck of good length to balance, firm topline, ribbing developing well for age and carried well back and muscular loin. Attractive head with flat skull, expressive eyes, correct ears, powerful muzzle and good dentition. Still has to fully develop in forechest as you would expect but she has pleasing angles front and rear and opened up well on the go around. Good ridge. Reserve BOB & Best Puppy.
2. Pearce’s Kinyemi Song of Serengeti Sepiwi Sekayi for Msingi (Imp Dnk). Dog just coming up to 7 mths who also has plenty to like. He is nicely balanced with a fairly long neck, firm in topline, ribcage of good length, muscular loin and tail good for set and carriage. Masculine headpiece with good skull, eyes of good colour but differing in shape to those of winner, powerful foreface and correct dentition. Stands nice and straight in front on very good feet. Good ridge. Winner just had the edge in profile action.
3. Collier & Cox’s Carlincox Knock Ya Socks Off

Approaching 13 mths, this girl pleased for overall type and outline with neck of correct length to provide balance, firm topline, good depth of chest, strong loins and tail of correct carriage. Feminine head with good eye and ear and scissor bite but could have a tad more strength to foreface. She has good angles front and rear, stands true in front on excellent feet and certainly didn’t let herself down when gaiting. Good ridge. Very well handled.

Not quite angles of winner and therefore could have opened up more on go around. Good ridge. Well handled.

She pleased in outline with clean, strong neck, firm back, excellent ribbing, muscular loin and tail good for set and carriage. Attractive head with breadth to her flat skull, correct round eyes, powerful muzzle and good dentition. Super angles both ends and she stands nice and straight in front on compact feet. When gaiting she has great freedom of movement and excellent carriage. BOB.
2. Picton & Ince’s Priorpark Point and Click JW. 4 yr old dog who carries such good bone and substance. Nicely balanced in outline with muscular neck, firm level back, moderately sprung ribs and powerful loins but tail carried higher than preferred. Balanced headpiece with masculine expression; flat skull, round eye of correct colour to match pigmentation, powerful muzzle and correct bite. Standing well naturally and moves freely on the down and back but winner had the edge on the go around. Well handled.
