1. Burnside & Manley’s Houndseeker Enchanted. 19 mth old black/tan bitch who pleased for type, is feminine all through and has a super temperament. She has a nice long neck, is correct in topline, deep in chest, firm in loin but with a touch more length and tail is good for set and carriage. Pleasing head which is narrow as desired, good planes, expressive eyes of correct shape, ears set on low, good depth to muzzle and correct dentition. She is well off for bone and stands on pretty good feet but elbows could be closer to the chest. Moving pretty well all through.

1. Priestley’s Marksbury Railway of Quikotic. Two quite different dogs competed in this class with this 2 yr old black/tan coming out on top. I thought him an excellent type and he presented a super outline. Neck of good length, firm topline, good depth to chest, well sprung ribs, muscular loin and tail just right for set and carriage. Well proportioned headpiece with masculine expression; narrow skull of good length, super oval-shaped eyes, ears set on low, good planes, muzzle pleased for both length and depth and scissor bite. He stands true in front on excellent feet and has a very good forechest. Moves out well on the go around and has excellent carriage. BOB.
2. Burnside & Manley’s Houndseeker Dragon. 3 yr old red who is quite hefty in comparison to the winner. He presented a pleasing outline with good length of neck, is firm in topline, nice depth to chest, well sprung ribs, muscular loin and tail good for set and carriage. Balanced headpiece with masculine headpiece but with a little more breadth to skull and planes are not as good as those of 1. He has pleasing angles front and rear, and has nice straight well-boned forelegs and stands on good feet. When gaiting, he pleased on the go around and when coming towards but is a touch wider going away.

1. Burnside & Manley’s Houndseeker Dragonfly. 3 yr old red. Feminine all through, this girl pleased in outline with neck of good length, firm topline, brisket reaching the elbows, correct ribbing, well-muscled loin and tail good for both set and carriage. Head of correct proportions and planes, narrow skull of pleasing length, oval-shaped eyes, ears of correct set and scissor bite but she has quite a different expression to others here today. I liked her angulation both ends and she stands true in front and also pleased in forechest. On the go around she opened up ok, is so good when coming at you but another who is a little wider when viewed from the rear.
