1. Marsden’s Regalriver Big Bad She Wolf. Two very different 9 mth old bitches competed here with the win going to this girl. Elegant as desired, she presented a pleasing outline with neck of good length, correct topline for the breed, ribbing carried well back, short loin, correct croup and tail pleased for both set and carriage. Feminine head and expression with very good skull, ears of correct shape and set, dark eyes and scissor bite. She stands on good feet and moved well fore and aft. Lovely rich tan. Best Puppy.

2. Bailey & Hancocks’ Lasagesse Fire Woman. Out of a much smaller mould than the winner and not quite as co-ordinated when gaiting. Feminine throughout with neck of good length, acceptable topline when settled, ok for ribbing, pleasing croup and tail set. Wedge-shaped head with pleasing expression; almond-shaped eyes, very good ears and correct dentition. Pasterns could be firmer. Nice rich tan.

1. Leonard’s Witchstone Nasabe Strikes Back. 13 mth old dog who is all male and quite impressive for type and outline and was so good hands on. Slightly arched neck of good length, compact body with correct topline, ribs well sprung and ribcage extending well back, nice and short in the couplings and tail pleased for set and carriage. Masculine head with narrow, flat skull, dark expressive eyes which are obliquely placed, excellent ears, slight stop and correct dentition. He stands well naturally and has correct feet for the breed. He is quite something on the go around and carries himself with style. Quality coat and excellent rich tan. BOB. Delighted to hear he went all the way through to take BIS.

1. Marsden’s Regalriver Big Bad She Wolf

2. Marsden’s Galvizach Royal Amethyst of Regalriver. 3 yr old bitch beaten by her daughter here. Feminine and of pleasing size. She has a neck of good length, is correct in topline, ribbing extends well back, short loin and pleasing croup and tail set. Wedge-shaped head with eyes of good colour, correct ‘candle-flame’ shaped ears, slight stop and scissor bite. She stands on correct feet for the breed but would like to see a touch more turn of stifle and this reflects when gaiting.

1. Leonard & Gourley’s Ch Witchstone Cheyenne Falls, Three pleasing bitches challenged here with the win going to this 10 yr old. She presented a super outline, being nice and compact and she has the desired elegance of the breed. Long neck which is slightly arched, correct topline, excellent ribbing, short loin, pleasing croup and tail just right for set and carriage. Flat, narrow skull, excellent ears, slight stop and scissor bite and although eyes are nice and dark, age is just beginning to show in them. She stands true in front on excellent feet and when gaiting, she was a joy to watch particularly on the go around. Reserve BOB.

2. Hall & Oakden’s Spawood Proud Mary with Ghilgrange JW. 21 mth old who is also full of quality but quite different to the winner. She is nice and compact with a neck of good length, correct topline for the breed, excellent ribbing, nice short loin and tail good for set and carriage. Super headed girl with the best of expressions; flat skull which is narrow as desired, excellent eye and ear, well filled under the eyes and correct scissor bite. Standing on good feet and moved true behind and went more than ok on the go around but winner had the edge. Lovely rich tan and excellent coat and condition.

3. Serman’s Kikuchi Mulberry among Tymy

Dogue de Bordeaux

1. De Silva’s Adam Tyson Kingbordvictory (Imp Svk). 6 mth old dog who was alone in the breed today. Very much a baby but he has plenty to like and the most wonderful laid back temperament. He pleased in outline with strength to neck, firm topline, ribcage extends well back and tail is correct for length, set and carriage. Head of good proportions with breadth to skull, well defined stop, very good eye and ear, topline of muzzle slightly turned up as desired, very good dentition and correct lip line. Pleasing angulation front and rear. Movement difficult to assess but he went ok on the go around but is a tad closer behind. BOB & Best Puppy.

Slightly arched neck of pleasing length, topline has improved and he also holds it well when gaiting, ribcage extends well back with pretty good ribbing, muscular loin and tail of good carriage. Masculine head with pleasing expression; moderate breadth to skull, feathered ears set and carried well, dark eyes and strength to muzzle. Moving steadily. Hard outer coat and well presented. BOB.

Feminine head with flat skull, excellent ears, dark eyes, strength to muzzle and scissor bite. Stands on compact feet and pleased all round when gaiting. Harsh, well presented jacket. BOB.
