1. Brown & Filby’s Desjiem Rebel Rebel (AI). Two very different bitch pups challenged here. My winner was found in this girl just coming up to 10 mths. Well balanced with slightly arched clean neck, nice short back, good depth to brisket, ribbing carried well back, correct croup and docked tail. Feminine headpiece with very nice expression; slightly rounded skull, good eye and ear and scissor bite. I liked her angles front and rear and she stands true in front on compact feet and she pleased for forechest too. Pleasing action on the down and back and covers the ground in profile but she could have been moved with a tad more pace. Best Puppy and I see she later went on to take Puppy Group 3.

2. Gimbert’s Kazanpaul Parmaviolet. This 7 mth old also has plenty to like and she presents a pleasing outline with correct length of neck to balance, firm topline, ribbing developing well for age, correct croup and undocked tail which is carried correctly when gaiting. Clean-cut head with pleasing eye and ear, correct stop and powerful jaws but for me winner had the edge in overall expression. She stands nice and straight in front on good feet but she is still to develop in forechest. Opened up well when viewed in profile and very well handled.
