My thanks to the committee of this well-run show for the kind invitation to judge today and to the exhibitors who came along with their lovely dogs.

Rottweilers

PG (2,0)

1. Franklin & Hucker Bevanray Carlos

Very smart lad, just out of puppy, very clean in head and profile with great ring presence, spot on for proportions with good bone and a very nice head, good angles, firm in back and moves out very well on tight feet and firm hocks, good hard coat and nice tan BOB

2. Hopgood’s Saintlythans Cleopatra

Feminine, well built puppy of good overall type and balance, strength to head with dark eyes, stands true with chest developing, balanced in angulation with strength to hocks, needs to develop more in muscle but moves soundly BP & RBOB

Pembroke Corgi

J (5,2) a really 3 nice class of youngsters.

1. Rees’ Stadwen Lucia (AI)

Really beautiful just 6 months but full of character and ring presence with super breed type, lovely head, expression and ear set, ears well used, good length of neck, well boned and moulded front, liked her proportions. Totally sound and free moving, with tight feet and driving rear action, destined for top honours BP, BOB, PG3

2. Jones Ermyn Storm Ahead

Masculine boy with good balance to skull and muzzle and width between well set ears, sturdy with a broad chest and firm level back, well constructed with ample bone and straight hocks. Moved freely with good hind thrust.

3. Hill’s Elessar Royal Surprise

Another really nice boy full of confidence and bags of breed type, really well built, strong and low set and really well put together, movement was difficult to assess as he was bunny hopping and having a great day out, nothing wrong with that, when settled, he should do very well, his very patient handler did a great job.

PG (3,0)

1. Rees’ Stadwen Polly Garter

Lovely foxy head with dark eyes and well set medium ears, feminine but with ample bone, good length of neck and firm level back, strong rear with firm straight hocks, lovely action, sound and free in all directions, just pipped by the charisma of her kennel mate today. RBOB

2. Watkins Goldgrove Black Star

A little taller on the leg, has a nice front and rear angles and totally capable of doing the job of a cattle dog with substance, a firm body, short loin and sound action, a little coarser in head than 1 but in good coat and muscular condition.

3. Evans Kensesqui Aster

Such a character, made me smile, smaller and shorter in body but a real little powerhouse of a male, presented in fine fettle and another who could do a good job out in the fields, very typical in head and expression and sound and free on the move.

Bearded Collie

PG (1,0)

1. Carter’s Matley’s Dreamchaser Final Fling with Karmeliann (imp CAN)

Well proportioned, feminine puppy with a good head developing, good length of neck and well angled shoulders, well boned and muscled for age, long rib, correct croup and tail set, stands on nice feet, coat coming on. BPIB, BG4

1. Steer-Eldridge Gwalltafwyn Rhodd Unigryw

Mature male in super coat and well conditioned, presents a nice outline with good height to length proportions , breed typical head and expression, good length of arched neck, balanced angulation, well boned but still lithe overall with a long ribcage and short loin, sound, easy mover. BOB
