I would like to thank the society and all those exhibitors that entered under me today. I thoroughly enjoyed my appointment judging some of my favourite breeds.
Great Dane
Special yearling (4, 1abs)
1.White’s JUTLANDERS EAT YOUR HEART OUT AT TARADANES.
Attractive young girl with a nice outline Liked her angles front and rear Being very well put together. Fawn coat of good texture Attractive head with attractive expression. Lovely dark eye. Was very composed on the move, she gave her all in the challenge and was handled well to bring out the best in her for a well deserved BOB BPIB
2.Page and Concannon’s NOVAVIDA SHIELDMAIDEN.
Feminine head Well set ears Pretty expression and good bite. Good length to neck. Ok bone for age Just needs time to broaden all through, Not as settled as 1 on the move.

Lots to like here in profile. Attractive head. Blue coat of good texture Good bone and tidy feet Correct, balanced angulation Just needs to tone up all through Moved well once settled.

Pretty young brindle girl with good head and neck. Dark eye. Scissor bite Well off for bone for age. Another who needs time to mature.

Portuguese Water Dog
Some super exhibits presented here today and what a positive experience it was to have so many lovely dogs. Nice to see some consistency in type and some tidy effective movement. I really look forward to judging this breed again.

I loved this youngster So full of character and enthusiasm yet when she moves is so composed and together. Beautiful eye shape and colour, broad skull and well set ears. Strong jaw, moderate neck and firm topline She is beautifully balanced all through and so well put together. Well ribbed Good bone and feet. An exciting future ahead I’m sure. BPIB
2.Hopkins and Gottdenker’s CLAIRCREEK SEA VOYAGER (IMP CAN)
Another super youngster with a super head and outline and brother to my class winner Masculine headpiece with attractive expression Excellent coat texture and bone in proportion to body Firm topline well toned Not as settled on the move as his sister today but im sure he will have his day too.

Very nice outline and attractive head on this 19 month old female Presented a very nice profile and good firm condition underhand. Good coat texture moderate bone Handled sympathetically. She covered the ground with ease and clean in all directions.
2.Green’s GRANDWAYS EXQUISITE BLACK.
4 ½ year old bitch who presented well in profile Feminine in head I would like a little more bone and substance at this age However she moved well.

A classy exhibit and the ultimate showman today He was beautifully presented and handled and he just commanded my attention on the day Beautiful head and expression, good neck, strong firm topline and well-muscled and toned under hand. Well balanced angles and super coat texture and condition He excelled on the move. Lovely male. A pleasure to award him BOB.

Brown and white bitch who presented well. Confident in attitude and well developed Pretty head and expression. Balanced angulation front and rear Good height to body ratio. Well handled and presented The male just had that little bit extra on the move today.

What a cracking youngster to go over with a super shape. Beautiful head and expression with trength yet retaining femininity Good neck into well laid shoulder and firm strong topline on the stand and on the move. At just out of puppy she had plenty of exuberance and enthusiasm yet she was handled sympathetically to bring out the best in her Put in an even better performance in the challenge to be awarded BOB Such a shame she didn’t stay for the Group.

3 year old bitch with attractive head, broad skull and strength in muzzle Well set ears and strong neck. Dark eye good bite Well off for bone Would prefer more leg length and a little less weight.

I really like this girl and have judged her on several occasions before. She has a beautiful strong yet feminine head and expression with well set ears. Good stop and breadth and depth to muzzle A very well balanced outline and correct angulation. Excellent bone and substance Well set tail, strong topline and good firm condition. Tidy feet. A little unsettled on the move today but she has plenty of power on the move.

Lovely 9 month old dog with a very attractive head and foxy expression Ears well set and of good size Neck of good length. Well balanced angles front and rear with a well set and carried tail. Coat in excellent condition and he has moderate bone. Brisk and light on his feet he was very clean in all directions BPIB
2. Spratley’s WINTERLUMI NIGHT FURY
Really liked this puppy for type. Pretty foxy head with high set ears. Chest just to above elbow Good length of loin Well toned all through Moderate bone and good feet Good coat texture just not the confidence underhand or on the move as one However hopefully this will improve with time.

Grey and white male of good size. Attractive head and expression. Good bone in proportion to size and tidy feet Presented in excellent condition and handled well He covered the ground well with a quick brisk gait

Another lovely young puppy with a delightful head Well set ears and a lovely character Many similar attributes to his sister A little ringcraft and or show acclimatisation would be beneficial to give them both more confidence.

1.Cunningham’s SIBERIADRIFT DARING MINX FROM ICEBEX
Bi-eyed bitch with a very pretty foxy head and lovely, cheeky expression. Good length to neck and balanced angulation front and back Chest just above elbows. I really liked her outline and she was very well muscled and toned underneath Put on a good performance in breed class but was very unsettled in the challenge unfortunately.
2.Spratleys SIBERIADRIFT HOWLAWEEN
Another really nice exhibit from this Kennel Masculine yet enchanting expression with eyes that really draw you in Well set ears Balanced body proportions and strong hocks and pasterns Good bone for size and in proportion to body Well toned all through. You have some lovely dogs so please do not give up You get back what you put in.

1.Tinker’s Multi CH ZALTANA KISS MY PAWS AT LOLOTEA JW SHCEX (IMP POL)
Black and white male who is heavier in type than would be called for, however after judging him previously the owner has taken my comments on board and he has dropped some weight and toned up considerably and this was evident not just under hand but in his movement also Attractive head with soft expression Well balanced front and rear He has a lovely coat texture super temperament and very nice feet Presented in immaculate condition, handled beautifully and put on his best performance to be awarded BOB.

What a lovely entry I had the pleasure of judging today It’s a shame there was no junior or puppy class for this breed as maturity had to come into play Some dogs could have been cleaner and I do not like to see a dog jerked by the neck so aggressively as the dog has not been placed as highly as the exhibitor had liked That being said I thoroughly enjoyed judging you all. Thank you.

1.Salter’s WHOLE LOTTA LOVE FROM NOONIE BEARS BY IRISADDITION JW (IMP BEL)
This young male won on overall balance and movement Not thee biggest but all in proportion Attractive masculine head and good neck. Nice angulation front and rear strong topline and well set and carried tail Excelled in movement which gave him the class.
2.Atkins and Charles’ CLANWILLOW CROWN OF ROSES FOR SNIKKLES JW
Pleasing outline Head in balance to body and of balanced features Arch to neck of moderate length. Firm topline. Strong firm topline Balanced angulation presented in good coat and condition. Moved well in all directions.
3.Cooper’s TYBURY’S ORIGIN OF HOPE
This young lady deserved a critique as she was my BPIB I loved her outline and her head and she was unlucky to have come up against much more mature dogs HOWEVER That does not deny her quality. Feminine throughout with a delightful expression and character.Slight arch to neck, Level back and good ribbing and firm loin Tail well set and carried Moved clean and true One to watch BPIB.

Strong, feminine head with lovely eye shape and colour and lovely expression. Well balanced angulation good breadth and depth to chest Coat presented well Moved with ease around the ring.

Masculine head and expression Good neck and topline Moderate bone, firm topline Correct coat texture Moved well.

Lovely veteran bitch ultimately in her prime She knows what she has to do and she just does it. Particularly liked her head to body size and proportion which was very well balanced Ears used well Very soft expression. Deep chest with good ribbing Well put together all through Firm topline on stand and on the move. Very fluid movement and super footfall BOB
2.Wood, PEPPERJAY BARTHOLOMEW JW
Lovely male with lovely expression and balanced head features. He was balanced in profile and had good bone and feet. Well muscled all through with moderate breadth and depth of chest. He moved out well in all directions maintaining a firm topline

Tidy black and tidy youngster with lovely head and expression Good eye shape and colour and his ears were used well. Nice body proportions and strong back held well on the move. Tail well set and very happy. Balanced angles strong hocks and moved well in all directions.BOB

Brother to class winner with many of the same attributes however not as composed on the move as 1 but still lots of promise.

A very diverse entry here today in size and type. Fronts definitely need improving in some cases however I was very pleased with my winners on the day.

What a cracking young dog he is Pleasing to the eye Balanced proportions and super coat which was profuse and presented in excellent condition. A lovely front assembly, firm topline well set and carried tail Well off for bone for size and age I loved his head which had that typical smiley expression, dark eyes and black pigment When he moved he drew your eye as he was just faultless and showed such composure for such a youngster Will be watching him for sure.
2.Lord’s NOVASKAYA YANA LEFAY
Well how lovely to see my second place is sister to my class winner. Another beautiful example of the breed with breed type and balanced, correct angulation. Lovely head coat and the same happy smiley expression. Moved cleanly in all directions.

This girl showed her socks off today She presented well on the stand She does have a tendency to pace at times but once she settles her foot fall is spot on. She has strength yet softness in head and she has a super character and temperament and a happy tail was shown at all times. Balanced angulation front and rear Well muscled and toned all through.BOB
