Gravesend & Medway Towns CS 4th May 2025 Tania Gardner ( Danwish) Many thanks for the invitation to judge , It was a lovely show, with many good dogs to judge, although it got slightly cold outside . I liked having a larger ring to show the dogs movement. Gundog Group G1 125 - Zakova Santana JW, Breed: Spaniel (Cocker) (Mrs S E Warrington) Very smart Cocker, Typey head with melting expression and balanced outline, compact with good rear quarters which gave that all important cocker sassy action on the move, tail never stopped wagging ,presented in super silky coat and musculature condition couldn’t be denied the group on the day. G2 85 - Sh Ch Barleyarch Skye at Longbarrow ShCM, Breed: German Shorthaired Pointer (Mr M & Mrs B Blay) Super veteran , medium size , stands over her ground well , Loved her head and expression and clean through shoulders. Moderate , balanced angles with strong rear quarters . Moved well showing lovely side gait G3 62 - Wansleydale Amaretto at Latjeata, Breed: English Setter (Mrs L A Beasley), elegant and showed well G4 106 - Mossburn Galloping Major JW, Breed: Retriever (Golden) (Mrs S H Pounds-Longhurst) Puppy G1 115 - Wyncastle’s Saint Laurent avec Chamford (Imp Hun), Breed: Spaniel (Cocker) (Miss R Clifford), A Puppy Ive judged before , just love him, full of sass and moves with great attitude. He looks to be maturing well and look forward to seeing him as a finished dog. Moved steady and needs to strength behind. 2ND Oakmarsh Land of Promise (Miss K & Mrs A & Mrs N Watts & Mellersh-Tett & Mellersh-Tett), 17 months and balanced angulation stands on lovely feet. Little wide in front at the moment but should good reach and drive A.V.N.S.C. Short back , correct tail set , shown in good jacket. Moved well . RBOB 2ND 12 - Cynetkoy River Phoenix (Mrs Kim Holt), anot as mature in body as 1st and larger in frame and still in puppy coat texture , level topline and moved well. Straight front and moderate angulations. Level topline and shown in correct harsh coat , won the class and BOB on movement , correct and showing drive and reach. 2ND 18 - Beaujons Leading Lady JW (Mr S R & Mrs L Wood), another nice example of the breed, pretty expression and correct earset , harsh coat. Moved well although dipped in topline a little . Still has time for all to come together.
