Wickford Basildon & District Canine Society

I sincerely thank the Wickford, Basildon & District Canine Society committee for this invitation. I was very pleased and honored that they entrusted me with the terriers to judge at this beautiful show, where we enjoyed glorious weather. I would also like to thank my steward, who was very pleasant and helpful. My gratitude also goes to the exhibitors who showed me fair play and kindness.

TERRIER GROUP

Group 1 – 605 – ALPORT BOLD RULER (STAFFORDSHIRE BULL TERRIER)

A first-class male that truly caught my eye; harmonious, balanced, and powerful but not heavy or mediocre. Excellent head and expression, correct teeth, excellent fore and rear angulations, excellent typical topline, excellent tail carriage. Excellent bone and substance. Parallel movement in the front, slightly tight in the rear. Presented in perfect condition with a resplendent coat, excellent presentation. Undoubtedly the star of the day. 

Group 2 – 584 – CHESTERTON VIVA LAS VEGAS (BORDER TERRIER)

A very handsome male with an excellent typical head, correct teeth, excellent build, and overall proportion give him the ease of free movement typical of the breed. Excellent topline and front and rear angulations, excellent legs and feet. Excellent chest in proportion. Excellent coat. Excellent parallel movement.

Group 3 – 589 – KOELLEN BOOMERANG BERTIE (BULL TERRIER)

A very handsome black-brindle & white male with a superb head, a super regular profile all the way to the tip of the muzzle, correct teeth, substance all the way to the tip of the muzzle, excellent expression, excellent shoulder and neck, correct humerus, excellent rear angulations and tail carriage. The dorso-lumbar junction could be more graceful. Parallel movement in the front, slightly tight in the rear. In excellent condition.

Group 4 – 575 – RIOSSET RIDDLE ME THIS (PARSON RUSSELL TERRIER)

A very beautiful female, excellent head and expression, good teeth, excellent topline, excellent fore and hind angulations, excellent chest proportion, excellent tail carriage, feet could be more compact, excellent coat color and texture, parallel movement both front and rear.

TERRIER PUPPY GROUP

Best Terrier Puppy – 564 - SILVERKINN WITTELSBACH GEM (BEDLINGTON TERRIER)

A very beautiful blue female, elegant and feminine, with a good head length, typical sweet expression, good teeth, excellent fore and hind angulations, excellent neck, excellent topline gracefully curved over the loin, without excess, excellent overall height-to-length proportion, typical movement in the front, slightly tightened in the rear, excellent pigmentation and coat. A harmonious puppy with a promising future. Happy to hear she went on to win Best Puppy in Show.

Very beautiful female with an excellent head and expression, good teeth, very good shoulder, the humerus is a little short, typical topline, parallel movement in the front, slightly tight in the rear.
