Shetland Sheepdog Junior (4, 1)

1st EVAD HALLOWEEN TZARINA FROM DUKESON (Straw, B) 6 month old bitch. Very feminine, with a beautiful head and personality, oozing that “sweetness of expression” in the breed standard. Correctly shaped and set eyes and ears, sensitive in use, and always alert to sounds in the hall. Nice arch to her neck and nice angulation front and rear. Tail reaching to the hock. Moved with correct smooth action, showing graceful elegance throughout. Definitely one to watch in the future as she matures. BP and PG3.

2nd AUBERSWELL STAR TROOPER (Clough-Diprose, Mrs C M) 15 month dog. Nicely shaped masculine head. Good ear set but would prefer a less round eye. Profuse coat and good angulation front and rear. Moved with good drive, but carried his tail a little too high, which detracted from the overall symmetry.

1st BLENMERROW VIVA LA MUSICA (Happel, Ms M) Bitch who left most of her coat at home today, but this just left nothing to hide. She caught my eye when she came in and had a ring presence that kept me coming back to her. Beautifully feminine head, aware of what was going on with nicely shaped eyes and ears, correctly set. Well arched neck carrying her head proudly, leading onto a level topline, which she held on the move. Good angulation front and rear. Moved with the lithe action called for in the breed standard, covering the ground with effortless movement. Could definitely see her doing a day’s work. BOB.

2nd SHELTYSHAM PIERROT AT TRENIC (Singh, Mrs J) Dog of smaller stature who was a bit of a fidget for his handler. Profuse coat. Correctly shaped eyes and good ear set, which were used sensitively. Good angulation, but his gait was a little short.

3rd AUBERSWELL STAR TROOPER (Clough-Diprose, Mrs C M)

1st VALDOSTA LIONKING AT LYNSCOT (Fagg, Mrs L) Dog, with slightly smaller head, although correct proportions, eyes and ear set. Good length of neck onto a level topline, with a graceful sweep over the loin. Good angulation and moved with good drive from the hindquarters. Was a little distracted in the challenge. RBOB

2nd EVAD LITE BREEZE (Clough, Miss S L) Dog of profuse coat and compact shape. Head was slightly domed, giving the impression of a wider and lower ear set. The ears were well used, always attentive to handler. Good angulation and moved well, would just prefer a little more length to the body.

3rd DUKESON JUST ADMIRE (Straw, B)
