ALASKAN MALAMUTE

Junior

1st Partridge-Bebb; Kaskae Show Me The Monet Avec Keighanya; 17 month old male, slightly calmer sinceI judged him as a puppy, masculine head with strong neck, firm solid body, good rear angulations, well muscled which allowed steady movement even in this small ring. BOB

Limit

1st Facer; Chayo Unlock The Power; 2 year old male, good head although I preferred the head of the Junior dog, muscular neck with good body proportions, nice hindquarters, another who needed a much bigger ring as didn’t get into his stride. RBOB

DOBERMANN

Puppy

1st Sharpe, Sharpe, Goodall & Goodall; Mianna Full Circle with Martifers; just 6 months, very feminine bitch puppy, nice elongated head, well placed oval eyes, ears fitting nicely to head, neck fitting well into shoulders, nice amount of chest for age, slightly sloping top line with well-muscled hindquarters and tight feet, very steady on the move. BP and Puppy Group 2

Post Grad

Two litter brothers, not a lot between them in profile, felt 1st coped with the small ring slightly better.

1st Ingram, Ingram & Lack; Jojavik Assassin’s Code; 13 months, preferred this boy’s head shape at the moment, elongated head, forward facing eyes, lovely expression, well placed ears, muscular neck sitting into well angulated shoulders with lovely forechest, chest deep, well ribbed, firm loin, well angulated hindquarters, hocks parallel and tight feet, very steady easy movement. BOB Pastoral Group 3

2nd Fogarty, Paisley, Ingram & Lack; Jojavik Shake To Fame; 13 months, litter mate to 1st, slightly heavier in head and body than 1st but balanced, just didn’t settle in this ring, needs much bigger ring to appreciate his slightly longer stride than his brother. Sure they will swap places all the time. RBOB

AVNSC WORKING

1st Rogers; Dancing Queen Of Black Hunar at Saturnsprings (imp NLD) Bullmastiff; 8 month old bitch, nice breadth of head well-padded muzzle, neat ears, dark expressive eyes, solid neck, elbows fitting close to chest, body needs to fill out a bit, broad muscular hindquarters, nicely bent stifle, tight feet. Once she settled she moved with lovely powerful strides. BP, better in puppy group with bigger ring.

2nd Presswell; Expressive Giorgia Grande Leonis at Aslanbek; Leonburger; 10 month old biitch, although a little loose at this stage she was balanced. Lovely face with dark mask, firm neck going into well angulated shoulders, well boned legs, body firm with well rounded hindquarters, good bend of stifle with firm hocks, easy long strides but needed a bigger ring, like her calm manner.

3rd Allen; TK’s Face Time; Rottweiler; D

1st Hatcher; Bhailekernon Wilbur Fudoshin; Bullmastiff; just over a year and full of himself, powerful boy who really made his owner work, solid head with lovely pigmentation, slight furrows on head, strong neck, shoulders and body, well muscled hindquarters, RBOB

Open

1st Ellis; Ch Philoma Wicked JW; Giant Schnauzer; 2 year old bitch who I’ve judged before, always so well presented and handled, another who really didn’t go well in a smallish ring. Powerfully built yet still feminine, Head strong, dark oval eyes, high set ears dropping forward, strong slightly arched neck, well laid back shoulders, chest deep and broad, strong back with firm loin, well developed thigh muscles, firm hock, harsh coat. Neat ears, nice length of neck sitting into well muscled shoulders, body firm with slight tuck up, still very muscled hindquarters, firm hocks, moved out well just preferred 1st slightly easier movement.

WORKING GROUP

Super group and I was spoilt for choice, 1st and 2nd I’ve given both a group before, They really pushed one another hard, but in end the winner had slight edge as she was much more settled in the bigger ring.

1st Rees; Ch Winter Melody Triple Trouble at Amical; Siberian Husky; beautifully balanced both on the stand, in profile and on the move covering it with long easy strides.

2nd Ellis; Ch Philoma Wicked JW; Giant Schnauzer; Super outline that just flows. Very in tune with her handler. Just preferred 1st for steadier movement

3rd Ingram, Ingram & Lack; Jojavik Assassin’s Code; Dobermann; In this much bigger ring really got into his stride and you could see what fluid easy movement he has.

4th Hawkins; Mellhawk Azizam; Boxer;

AV CHARITY OPEN STAKES
