1st – Westmorland & Hutchinson’s – OSCHALBEN OPHILIA – 11mth fawn b who presents a typical outline with correct topline. She has good width between her well placed ears, good dark eyes and good length of muzzle. Nice, open nostrils. Good bone, straight front, chest good for age. Sound hindquarters and movement..

2nd – Fawcett, Fawcett & Smith’s – CHELMBULL STAR OF THE NORTH AT ZILNOR – 13 mth br d. Another with good width to his flat skull, beautiful dark eyes, wide, upturned jaw. Nice width to his chest but still needs depth. Well sprung ribs, correct topline, well muscled rear. Correct, moderate angulation.

3rd – Young’s – LEYENDAS BEDAZZLED

1st – Davis’ – BANDIT KING OF HAMMERBARN AT ROWANPAWS – 2yr old br d. Would prefer a little more of him but he has a balanced head of good width, flat skull and good ears, Defined stop and muzzle. Good depth of chest, good ribs, would prefer his roach to be more defined.

2nd – Westmorland’s – GAILBULLS IT’S EDITH – 2 yr pied b. Lots to like about this girl. Has good width to her skull, good stop and length of muzzle, Good width to her lower jaw which has a nice upturn. Correct eye shape. Good neck, straight front with good bone, compact body and good rear. Not showing well today.

Well defined cheek muscles, good neck, deep, wide chest, straight front, well sprung ribs, short, strong loin with good tuck up. Correct angulation to rear. BOB & BP.

2nd – Young’s – CLONNYSMUSH MY SPARTAN – 5yr old br d. Mature, masculine boy with broad, square head, well placed ears of correct shape, good eyes. Carrying a little too much weight over his neck and shoulders. Good ribs and roach. Moves soundly.

Feminine yet retaining good width to her head and muzzle, lovely dark eyes, ears of good size and shape. Good length of neck, good bone, chest still needs to develop, compact body, good tail set. Typical movement. BOB

2nd – Featherstone’s – JAYSQUARES BETE NOIRE AT FEATHERTTOR – 9 mth blk d. Not quite the balance of 1 yet. Stronger head and broad muzzle, Good mouth and pigment. Well boned throughout, deep chest, straight front. Correct ribs and topline. Moved soundly. BP

2nd – Thorman’s – PETER PARKER AT NAMROHT – 6 yr old red blk d. Good width of skull and muzzle but would prefer a little more length of muzzle. Good neck and topline, straight front and good bone. Not quite the balance of 1. Moved well.

1st – Rogerson’s – CH NOSREGOR SISTER SLEDGE – 5yr old b. I preferred the head on this girl, which was in proportion to her body, had good width, nice eye shape and colour. Well-constructed front, level topline and correct rear. Moves soundly once she settled. BOB

2nd – Holmes’ – LONGSDALE’S MISS HOLMES – 3 yr old b who presents the nearly square outline required. Head of correct proportions, although finer in muzzle than 1. Good rib, nice short loin and high set tail. Preferred the movement of 1st.

Head of good proportions, broad skull, correct stop. Dark, almond shaped eyes. Good front, topline and tailset. Unsettled but did enough to show his sound movement. BOB.

2nd – Heslop’s – FLAMUNA DEFINITELY MAYBE – 3yr old brown b of good type and shape. Feminine head with correct ears and eyes. Good ribs which reach well back, level topline and correct turn of stifle. Moved well.

1st – Vockings’ – PORTUNES WHATSERNAME – 13 mth l/s b. Loved this girls head which had the required proportions, good stop, well placed, nicely spotted ears. Good neck and front, chest correct for age, good topline and tail. Good turn of stifle. Presented in excellent body condition.

2nd – Richardson’s – PORTUNES ST JIMMY AT EXAYEEX – 13mth l/s brother of 1 and similar comments apply. He presents a balanced profile, good head, neck and shoulders. Good depth of chest, level back and correct angulation to rear. Not quite as positive in rear movement as 1.

3rd – Pearson’s – KELEVRA BEAM ME UP BISCOTTI

1st – Barrett’s – DALAMANTI DUKE’S LEGEND JW – 2 yr old l/s d. Balanced in outline with good bone. Good head and eyes, correct stop. Good depth and width of chest, well sprung ribs and level back. Strong loin and well set tail. Moves well.

Lovely dark eyes of good shape. Good length of neck, well laid shoulders, straight front. Good depth of chest, good ribs and topline. Strong loin and well-set tail. Good turn of stifle. In excellent, muscular condition. Flowed round the ring with an easy, long stride. BOB.

2nd – Barrett’s – DALAMANTI CAESARS PALACE – 5 yr old b/s d. Another with a lovely head, skull & muzzle of equal length, high set ears and good eye shape and colour. Nice neck and topline. preferred the chest of 1st. Good turn of stifle and well-muscled. Tends to lose shape on the move.

2nd – Garrett’s – ESTAVA RAIN CRESCENT SKY FOR KRISSIENITE (IMP NOR) – 13mth b. This girl has good substance yet retains femininity. Loved her head which is of correct proportions, well placed ears of good size, lovely dark eyes of correct shape. Good length of neck, chest good for age, good topline. Just needs to settle on the move.

Lovely outline, good head with flat skull, short square muzzle and healthy, dark round eyes. Good length of neck, well laid-back shoulders and straight front. Well sprung ribs, good topline and rear. Moved sound and true. BOB.

2nd – Rowell’s – IVYJEWELL BLACK MAGIC AT CLOVIPOP – This boy also has a very typey head and scores on his open nostrils. Good neck, preferred the front of 1st. Good rib, topline and lovely turn of stifle. Not quite the balance on the move as his brother.

Balanced in profile, good head proportions, well placed ears showing black tips, almond shaped dark eyes and correct pigment. Well laid shoulder, deep chest and level back. Rear angulation balances the front, good tailset. Moved so well with reach and drive. BOB.

2nd – Brook’s – MIDDANWINTER TROJAN HORSE – 14mth d. In contrast to the winner, this young boy has yet to mature, but he has so much to like. Although he is smaller, he maintains balance. He has a beautiful head and eyes, well placed ears with the required black tips. Good chest for his age, correct angulation front and rear, good topline and tail. Moved soundly.

2nd – Chanikos Harper Seven at Evieshu JW – Shih Tzu – This 14mth b is full of quality and type. Still young and needs to mature, but must have a very bright future.

3rd – Swiss Ch Kelevra Dill or no Nill JW – Dalmatian – continued to show his socks off. Deserved this place for his shape and balance.

4th – Crunchcroft Razzle-Dazzle at Taighmuilne – Kooikerhondje – Such a sound boy both in body and movement.

1st – Wyldette Lilith Never Eve – Shar Pei – didn’t put a foot wrong. Will watch her future with interest.

2nd – Denzka Eldritch to Sifrason – Lhasa Apso – 9 mth d who is nicely put together, has a lovely head and expression and handled and presented beautifully.

3rd – Oschalben Olympus – French Bulldog – Such a typey and sound boy. Still showing beautifully.

4th – Rogspa’s Got Yer Back – Tibetan Terrier – 11mth d who is square in outline and is balanced throughout. Just waiting for his chest to develop. Moves with a good length of stride.

Another who is put together so well and this shows in his movement which was typical, effortless with good reach and drive. Not the biggest boy, but has the required substance, good head and eye, lovely strong neck, well laid shoulders and deep chest. Good topline and rear. BOB.

2nd – Adair’s – CHATEAUNEWF MAKE MY DAY FOR DAREBEAR – 2yr blk b. Another from the top drawer who pushed 1 hard. Balanced head with lovely eye shape and colour. Good neck and shoulders, good depth of chest, strong bone. Well turned stifle and good muscle. Moves well but felt 1st just had the edge.
