Border Collie - Post Graduate


1st Kempton’s Borderbrook Final Destiny JW – promising young black and white bitch, liked her head and expression, good shoulder, well made bitch, covered the ground well and showed to advantage.

2nd Walker’s Borderbrook Final Straw at Ravenskirk – another nice young bitch, similar in some ways to the class winner, good head and expression, however appealed for overall shape, pushed winner of the class hard but just lost out on movement.


Border Collie – Open 


1st Walker’s Ravenskirk Pretty in Pink – Really eye catching 3 year old bitch, with a beautiful head and expression, very well made, covered the ground so well, presented and handled to advantage, quality bitch who won BOB and late took Group 2 in a very competitive group that was full of quality. 

2nd Kempton’s Art of Blossom Drowned in Emotion into Borderbrook JW (IMP ESP) – I liked this young dog, just felt he needs a bit of time to fully mature, masculine head and expression, well presented, well constructed dog, moved and showed well.


Rough Collie – Post Graduate


1st Welsh’s Thistlewing Amber Heart – s/w bitch, who had such a lovely expression, liked her eye, good stop and correct head proportions, well made bitch, with good front and back end, was presented to advantage and despite being a little unsettled done enough to win the class.

2nd Welsh’s Thistlewing Gold Mist – s/w bitch , who had a lovely head and expression, despite being out of coat, had nothing to hide, liked her shape and overall construction.


Rough Collie – Limit


1st Welsh’s Thistlewing Spell On You – eye catching bitch who caught my attention upon entering the ring, such a lovely head and expression, well constructed, with a particularly good shouder and moved with purpose as construction would suggest, well presented and attentive to handler.

2nd Taylor’s Thistlewing Fire Dancer at Bryany – this s/w boy is quite lovely to go over, masculine head withgood eye and proportions, well made, moved well, however a slightly more settled performance and would have pushed hard for the class.

3rd Macdonald’s Brilyn Look at Me for Farauya


Rough Collie – Open


1st Welsh’s Thistlewing Magic Lady – Quality s/w bitch, who immediately caught my eye, such a lovely head, nice eyes, used ears well good stop, all combining to present the desired expression, well made, with good front, correct topline and good back end, really moved with drive and covered ground so well, had no hesitation in giving her the class BOB & G3

Australian Shepherd – Open


1st Simpson’s Lamintone For The Drive at Applecreek RL2 EX – 2 year old tri, with lots of promise, such a beautiful head to go over, liked the construction on this boy, good front, and rear, moved so well and in good condition, jet black coat, which was well presented, stood alone and won BOB, pushed hard for group placing, shall watch out for this boy.


Samoyed – Post Graduate


1st Dodd’s Bondsmoor Moonlight Kiss - typical head and expression, well presented, good shoulder and front, moved really well, covering the ground with ease, won her class and BOB.

2nd Walton’s Brilantico Cloudy Dreams – nice head and expression, was out of coat, none the less well enough constructed and once settled, moved well enough.

Welsh Corgi (Pembroke) – Post Graduate


1st Pike’s Unita Mentale Genrietta at Eivisah (IMP UKR) – appealing two year old bitch, had such a lovely head and expression, good front and liked the body shape and angulation, moved so well and handled to absolute perfection, won a quality class of Corgi’s

2nd Irving’s Twinan Dance to the Beat – 10 months old, impressive youngster, loved her head and expression, very well made bitch, moved and handled to advantage, unlucky to meet one, however later got PG2.

3rd Abraham’s Twinan Rock the Beat at Sirahdis


Welsh Corgi (Pembroke) - Open


1st Haslam’s Monarchcor Chase Your Dream avec Meitza – caught my eye upon entering the ring, this impressive boy had the most beautiful and typical head, good shoulder and well made dog, with correct topline, moved really well and handled and showed to absolute perfection, won BOB and later got G4

2nd Pike’s Unita Mentale Hollywood Paul at Eivisah – another quality Corgi, this young dog has such a typical expression, liked his front and moved well, showed to advantage and pushed hard for the class.

Briard – Open 


1st Steel’s Fosterbrie Schmitten Noir VW – this 8 year old dog, looks great for his age and so well presented, appealed for head and expression, liked his shape and well made, moved well and whilst standing alone was BOB


Bearded Collie – Post Graduate


1st Glasgow’s Viva the Diva De Chester at Gallus NAF TAF – this young Bearded Collie bitch, certainly caught my eye upon entering the ring, appealed for head and expression, carrying so much breed type, very well constructed, good front, correct topline and back end, which allowed her to drive and cover the ground so effortlessly, showed and handled to advantage, getting the best from this gorgeous bitch at all times, should have an exciting career in the show world, won BOB and then went BIG.

2nd Ryan’s Gallus Midas Touch into Razal – another lovely youngster, such a beautiful yet masculine head, with appealing eye and expression, very well made, with good shoulder and front, moved as construction would suggest with real drive, not quite the maturity of the class winner, however this youngster should trouble the best of them, when fully mature.

3rd Gibb & Dungawell’s Debbeacol Devil in Disguise at Pirateer 

This was a top quality class, which was a pleasure to judge.

2nd Savage & McLean’s Talraz Comic Relief at Canaich JW VW – Quality veteran, appealed for head and expression, good to go over, moved so well and presented to advantage.

3rd Walker’s Allachoy Dances With Wolves


AVNSC – Pastoral Open


1st Meikle & Henderson’s Elbereth Etainen at Lintukoto (Finish Lapphund) – such a typical head and expression, alert and attentive to handler, very well made, with the desired front and topline and he moved so well, was very well presented, full of quality, pushed hard for place in group, just unlucky on the day.

2nd Stevenson’s Peregos Lone Ranger (Catalan Sheepdog) – nice head on this boy, well made, showed well for handler and went well, unlucky to meet the class winner.

1st Hepburn’s Dippersmoor Dare to Dream at Leterikhills (Shetland Sheepdog) – eye catching tri puppy, appealing head with good proportions, liked his overall shape and make, good angulations front and back, correct topline, moved well, presented and handled to advantage, promising youngster.

2nd Irving’s Twinan Dance to the Beat (Welsh Corgi (Pembroke))

1st Gibb’s Ch Snikkles Bluebeard at Pirateer JW SHCM VW (Bearded Collie) – I have doe this beautiful boy well in the past, looks great for his age, lovely head, appealing expression, as ever presented to perfection, very good dog to go over, such good construction, moved and handled to advantage.
