Bullmastiff Critique Puppy 1st – ANMENTA ARABELLA ALLEN OF COPPERFIELD (IMP AUS) An 8-month-old fawn bitch who is still very much a baby, but full of promise. Presented in excellent condition. She has all the essentials in place and just needs time to mature. Her overall shape, balance, and effortless movement won her the class today. BEST PUPPY & RESERVE BEST OF BREED 2nd – FOWLERHEIGHT ZOOM An 11-month-old red bitch with the most delightful temperament – clearly thrilled to be in the ring. A very pretty youngster, also shown in excellent condition. She has a good, level topline, tight cat-like feet, and moved out well coming and going. On the day, I just preferred the overall proportions and balance of the winner. ⸻ Junior 1st – COPPERFIELD JONAS MUDGE JW A well-developed 17-month-old red male displaying a most classic Bullmastiff head. He has a broad skull, deep, well-filled cheeks, and a strong underjaw, all softened by a notably kind expression. He is well-boned throughout, with good depth of chest, correctly laid-back shoulders, and moderate angulation. Moved off with purpose, maintaining strength and balance on the move. BEST OF BREED 2nd – BRINKBULL WILFY’S LEGACY AT SUNDABISH (AI) (IMP AUS) TAF At 16 months, this young male is still raw but shows plenty of promise. He presents a pleasing outline, though slightly longer in body than the winner, and will benefit from further maturity. He has a well-arched neck, with good angulation both front and rear. Holds a level topline and moved soundly coming and going. ⸻ Postgraduate 1st – BRINKBULL WILFY’S LEGACY AT SUNDABISH (AI) (IMP AUS) TAF (See Junior critique.) 2nd – KIERLACEYAN EMMA JAYNE A 2½-year-old red bitch with pleasing head proportions and a level topline. She has tight cat feet and moved out well, although not quite as strong behind as the winner today. ⸻ Open Dog 1st – ANGEL’S PHEONIX DYLAN DOG OF COPPERFIELD Approaching 7 years old, this mature male was shown in excellent condition. He is well-boned with a strong, level topline which he maintained on the move. Would prefer a little more rear angulation.
