2nd Bailey & Yates’ Ch/Ir Ch Tarmachan Ice Cool VW, 8-year-old sable and male. Masculine head with skull of good length and shape, with dark eyes and well-set ears of good length. Good depth of chest and spring of rib, a touch longer than the class winner.

Irish Wolfhound
P: (2,1) 1st Crosse’s Cairnstorm Lullaby, 8-month-old brindle bitch. Nice head and eye with slight rise behind the eyes and neat ears. Good outline with nice length of neck and lovely topline when standing. Good depth chest with a well laid shoulder. Ok for upper arm, just a touch short and slightly steep. Lovely standing but a bit unbalanced on the move and she tended to roach her back. Best Puppy
SY: (1) 1st Connor’s Hydebeck Eternal Love, 17-month-old dark brindle dog. Good head which is long and in balance with his overall size. Lovely dark oval eye and small ears. Long neck with a deep chest and a well laid shoulder although a touch upright in upper arm and I would have preferred more bend of stifle. On the move was a handful for his handler today and just wouldn’t settle into his stride.

Lovely head of good length and in balance with a slight rise behind the eyes which are dark and oval with small ears. Super neck and level topline and good depth of chest. Good bone, shoulders well laid back with short hocks and well bent stifle. Lovely on the move, Best Puppy
SY: (1) 1st Kass’ Fostebrie I Am Mika at Kimarlaz, 18-month-old fawn dog. Balanced head with a good eye and strong muzzle. Lovely topline and is excellent in profile on the move. Super front and rear angulation which allowed him to cover the ground well but a touch close behind going away.

Best of Breed.
Old English Sheepdog
P: (1) 1st Twigg & Wright’s Greydrover Poseidon, so good to see this happy 9-month-old boy again as I judged and liked him at his first show and he is showing the same promise he had then. Head is developing nicely with a square skull and strong muzzle of equal length. Super square outline, with a level back and deep chest, well angulated front and rear. Was balanced on the move showing reach and drive. Best Puppy.
L: (2) 2 lovely boys in this class 1st Howsam’s Melleonars Keep It Cool Branston at Jandoes (Imp Deu) JW, nearly 2-year-old boy. Square skull of good size with good stop, strong square muzzle of good width and excellent underjaw. Eyes of good size set relatively wide. Square in outline with short loin, firm back with gentle rise over the loin and good depth of chest. Well angulated front and rear which allowed him to move effortlessly. Coat of good texture which was beautifully presented. Best of Breed.
2nd Fawcett’s Starjanda Mr Bright Sky, 2-year-old dog I have judged and placed well before. Lovely, well-proportioned head with well-defined stop and good eye. Lovely square outline with a super neck and short loin, well angulated front and rear and good depth of chest. Lovely on the move but a bit of a handful for his owner on the stand.

L: (4,2) 1st Kennedy & Roberts’ Kalkasi Graceful Shadow for Joamjess, 5-year-old white & blaireau bitch. A bit finer in head and skull but skull and muzzle were of equal length and broken by a gentle rise between eyes of good shape and set. Super outline with short neck and good topline. Well angulated front and rear with good bone. Lovely on the move.
2nd Kennedy’s Pyrcot Spirit of Hanai, 4-year-old white & blaireau dog. Lovely skull and muzzle, of good size and well-proportioned. Short neck and level back with depth chest and good spring of rib. Well laid-back shoulder and good return of upper arm but this was a touch short. Was crabbing on the move which meant he was throwing a hind leg out.
OD: (3,1) 1st Pollard & Maggs’ Ch Gillandant Thief of Hearts at Dewyche ShCEx, 5-year-old white & blaireau dog who just stood out. Lovely head with an excellent skull, slightly curved from side and front, strong muzzle of equal length. Lovely dark almond eye set slightly obliquely. His outline is superb with a short neck, deep chest, firm back and super leg to height ratio. So well angulated front and rear with well laid-back shoulder, good return of upper arm and good bend of stifle. In excellent coat and condition, he simply flowed round the ring with powerful yet effortless drive. He could not be denied Best of Breed and Group1. Well done and thank you for bringing him.
2nd McBain’s Lisjovia Flaming Drambuie for Willmac, 4-year-old white & blaireau dog. Good head of excellent shape and width with strong muzzle and a lovely eye but a bit too much stop. Powerfully built, with a short neck and strong back, super angulation front and rear but I’d have preferred a touch more length of leg. Moved beautifully.

Lovely dark eye with super pigmentation. Lovely outline, with good angulation and good topline. Sadly, lacking enthusiasm today.
