Thank you so much to the officers and committee for their kind invitation to judge at their club open show and to Vikki and Sue for their stewarding on the day. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with your lovely breed. Temperaments were, without exception, excellent as was presentation.
MPD: (4) What a super class of babies to start with. I’m sure they’ll swap places many times. 1st Rojowska’s From Oslo With Snow White Touch Of The Sky To Arcticuno (Imp.Pol) 8-month-old who appealed for his length of stride. Broad skull tapering to a muzzle of good length and width with good underjaw. Lovely dark almond eye, set obliquely and neat ears set well apart. Level back and good depth of chest, good bone and feet. I’d prefer a touch more neck to complete the outline. Well angulated front and rear which allowed him to move with ease, showing reach and drive.
2nd Hunt & Honey’s Artsam Bring The Moon, at just 6-months, this boy is showing a lot of promise. Balanced outline with good length of leg, good reach of neck and level back. Head developing nicely with broad skull, moderate stop and balanced length of muzzle. Super eye and well-set ears giving a super expression. Steady on the move, but I preferred the length of stride on the winner today.
3rd Forster & Forster’s Artsam Shining Future Hiro For Hakumichi
PD: (1) 1st Collinson’s Vandreem Imperial Mario At Norjack, 9-month-old boy I judged and liked when I awarded him PG1 at Boston open Show at just 6-months and it’s nice to see he is still fulfilling that early promise. In balance throughout. Super wedge head, with a broad, flat skull and well-rounded muzzle of good length with clean stop and good underjaw, lovely eye of correct set and shape and well-set ears of good size giving an alert and smiling expression. Neck of good length with well laid shoulder and super return of upper arm. Level back of good length with short loin and super hind angulation, with well bent stifle and short rear pasterns and high set tail carried well. Sound on the move, covering the ground with ease and with effortless drive. Pleased to award him Best Dog, Reserve Best in Show and Best Puppy in Show. Best of luck with him in the future
JD: (2) 2 boys of very different styles in this class. 1st Kosmane’s Rosnorske Royal Qui Gon At Glamyarn JW, 17-month-old who appealed for his overall proportions and size. Good head of good size and shape with a super muzzle and underjaw, with lovely eye and ears of good size, set correctly well set. Good depth chest and length of leg with a well angled front and rear. A touch close behind but good drive and reach going round.
2nd Haffenden’s Novaskaya Yolo Lefay, 16-month-old of smaller build. Lovely head and muzzle with a super eye. Well set ears, but I’d prefer a touch smaller. Lovely neck and level back with a well laid-back shoulder and good return of upper arm but a touch shorter. Well angulated rear with good bend of stifle. I’d have preferred more length of leg. Good length of stride but a bit close behind going away.
YD: No Entries
ND: (2) 1st Willcock’s Dynar At Mignight, 8-month-old. Flat skull and well-rounded muzzle of good length with almond eye of good size. Ears wet wide, but I’d prefer a touch smaller. Good length of neck and back with good length of leg and depth of chest. Well laid shoulder but a touch steeper in upper arm. I’d prefer a touch more bend of stifle but was balanced and sound on the move.
2nd Haffenden’s Novaskaya Yolo Lefay, as before.
GD: (2) 1st Gwynne’s Rosnorske Royal Kylo, 17-month-old brother to the JD winner. Lovely wedge-shaped head with a broad, flat skull and well-rounded muzzle of good length and good underjaw. Super almond eye and well-set ears of good size and texture. Good outline with a neck of good length and level back, good depth of chest and length of leg. Well angulated front and rear with good bone and feet. Well set tail carried correctly. Sound and balanced on the move, with reach and drive.
2nd Haffenden’s Novaskaya Yolo Lefay, as before.
PGD: (2) 1st Haffenden’s Novaskaya Yolo Lefay, as before.
2nd Hawkins & Wintle’s Rosskaja Giorgio Armani, 3-year-old. Head of good width with a super muzzle. Eye of good size and ears set apart but rather thin and missing the rounded tips. Just enough neck and good length of back, but I’d prefer more length of leg. Super hind angulation which gave plenty of drive but straighter in front which affected his length of stride.
LD: (1) 1st O’Dwyer’s Aspenbeauty Making Dreams For Kalinski (Ai) (IMP AU) 4-year-old boy who I really liked as he has a super outline. Broad flat skull and muzzle of similar length but I’d have preferred a little longer throughout. Lovely eye of good size and set, with well set ears of good size. Lovely neck with good depth of check and good length of level back and well-set tail. Well angulated front and rear. Moved well in profile but was throwing a leg out going away, which was a shame.
OD: (2) 1st Navratilova’s Ch Holy Archie Orleansnow (IMP CZE), 3-year-old. Very masculine with a lovely head and expression. Flat skull of good width, strong muzzle and good stop. Super almond eye, of good size and set correctly and well-set ears. Good outline with lovely neck and back of good length with deep chest and well sprung rib. Well laid-back shoulder, but a touch steeper in upper arm. Well bent stifle and short rear pasterns. Balanced and sound on the move, but I’d prefer more reach.
2nd Webb’s Gold Charm Polaris Royal Dreams (IMP UKR) 5-year-old who is very similar in style to the winner. Lovely head, although I preferred the eye on 1st. Good outline with good length of neck and back and well-set tail although I’d prefer just a touch more length of leg. Super hind angulation but also a touch steeper in upper arm and was pinning in slightly coming towards me.
VD: (1) 1st Short’s Zakaytia Angel Of Mine, 10-year-old in super condition, and happy to tell everyone how much he was enjoying his day. Lovely, well-proportioned head with flat skull and good length of well filled muzzle, super eye and well-set ears of good size with excellent teeth and underjaw. Lovely, balanced outline with a well arched neck of good length and level back with good depth of chest and high set tail. Well angulated front and rear which meant he could move easily, with reach and drive, not showing his age at all. Pleased to award him Reserve Best Dog and Best Veteran in Show
GCD: (1) 1st Hawkins & Wintle’s Rosskaja Giorgio Armani, as before
MPB: (4,1) Another class of 3 lovely babies, again I’m sure they’ll change places often. Interesting to note that my first two in this class are litter sisters to 2nd and 3rd in MPD, what a super litter! 1st Hunt’s Artsam Beloved, very moderate throughout and nothing exaggerated about this 6-month-old girl. Lovely wedge head and good length of muzzle of good width and good underjaw. Super almond eye and neat ears of good thickness set wide apart giving a super, feminine expression. Lovely outline with a neck of good length with a lovely arch, and level back and deep chest. Good leg to height ratios and good bone and feet. Well laid shoulder with ok return of upper arm, in balance with her hindquarters. Balanced and free on the move. Best Puppy Bitch and Reserve Best Puppy in Show, best of luck with her in the future.
2nd Roberts’ Artsam Shady Lady For Archaeus, as you would expect, so very similar to her sister and so much to like, I really was splitting hairs between the 2. I preferred her return of upper arm, but today I’d like a bit more length of leg for a more balanced overall outline. I’m sure they’ll swap places many times and, again, best of luck with her in the future.
3rd Avsiukevich’s Vitvarg Algiz Shieldheart
PB: No Entries
JB: (3,2) 1st Webb & Bates’ Rosskaja Ginato Clementino, 17-month-old with lots to like. Shorter and broader in head but balanced and a clean wedge. Lovely eye of good shape and size, set correctly and the neatest of ears of good texture set wide apart giving a lovely, feminine expression. Super outline with a good length of neck and level back giving a balanced outline with high set tail. Well laid shoulder and good return of upper arm, with good bone, flattish feet and good pasterns. Super rear pasterns and well bent stifle. On profile, moved well with reach and drive, just pinned in slightly coming towards. Was in my mental shortlist in the challenge later on.
YB: (1, 1)

GB: (2,1) 1st Avsiukevich’s Vitvarg Blossom Juliet Rose, 3-year-old and finer throughout. Wedge head but lacking width in skull and muzzle. Lovely eye of good size and shape, well set ears, although I’d prefer a touch smaller. Good outline with a well laid shoulder but shorter in upper arm. Good feet and short rear pasterns. Moved soundly but would prefer more length of stride.
PGB: (3,1) 1st Willcock’s Dynar Viennese Whirl ,3-year-old and moderate throughout. A touch longer in body but with good leg length. Balanced head with good width of skull, good stop and lovely eye. Ears set well giving an alert expression. Well laid-back shoulder but a touch shorter in upper arm. Good hind angulation with short hocks and well bent stifle and good feet. Sound on the move with plenty of drive, but I’d have preferred more reach.
2nd Bramley & Watts’ Santaviga Aurora Adasca, 3-year-old with a lot to like standing. Good head with skull of good side, slightly shorter muzzle but of good width. Lovely eye and well-set ears of good size. Nice outline and well angulated front and rear but a touch longer in body and I would prefer a stronger topline. Enough reach on the move but lacked drive.
LB: (3,1) 1st Cornwell’s Jewel Child Of Joy Orleansnow, 3-year-old who appealed for her overall soundness and balance. Lovely wedge head with a flat skull, well rounded muzzle of good length, good stop and good underjaw. Super almond eye of good size, set obliquely and well-set ears of good size and texture which all gives an alert expression. She has a super outline, with a lovely arched neck of good length and good length of firm, level back with short, strong loin. Chest is deep and well sprung, with good length of leg. Well laid shoulder and good return of upper arm with super hind angulation in balance. Good bone and feet. Very balanced on move, with an easy stride and sound coming and going. Delighted to award her Best Bitch and Best in Show, well done.
2nd Mann’s Silbertips And All That Jazz JW, 3-year-old with a lot to like standing, just sadly didn’t get into her stride which made her movement difficult to assess. Well balanced head with well set ears. Slightly fuller in eye, but a good expression. Good outline and well angulated front and rear, although I’d prefer a touch more length of leg and stronger front pasterns.
OB: (2,1) 1st Short’s Silbertips Star Attraction At Zakaytia (A.I.), lots to like about this 4-year-old. Lovely head with a super eye and well set, neat ears. Muzzle of good size, in proportion to her skull, and good underjaw. Super neck with a level back and good depth of chest. Well angulated front and rear with well laid shoulder and good return of upper arm, short rear pasterns and good bend of stifle. Moved with reach and drive. Just lost out in the challenge as she wasn’t quite a positive coming towards me as the limit winner, but thoroughly deserved Reserve Best Bitch, well done.
VB: (2) 1st Hawkins & Wintle’s Rosskaja Show Me The World, 7-year-old who appealed for her overall size and outline. Nice head, well balanced with a broad skull and well filled muzzle of good length. Lovely eye of good size and shape with neat ears set well apart giving a feminine expression. Lovely outline with good neck and length of back, good depth of chest and proportion of leg. Well angulated front and rear which allowed her to move with reach. Best Veteran Bitch and Reserve Best Veteran in Show
2nd Collinson’s Ch Nikara Secret Love By Norjack JW, 7-year-old of a very different style, and with lots to like. Very pretty with a skull of good width tapering to a well filled muzzle. Lovely eye of good shape, set correctly and ears set well apart. Good neck and length of firm back with well sprung rib. I preferred the leg proportions of the winner. Super bone and feet and well angulated front and rear. Balanced on the move.
GCB: (2,1) 1st Cornwell’s Jewel Child Of Joy Orleansnow, as before
Brace D/B (1) 1st Willcock with mother and son, who matched each other perfectly on the move, well done.
