Boyle’s Timeless Destiny Star Actis over Barrenclough JW (imp POL). 2 year old bitch, very well handled and presented, shown in full coat and good condition, nice feminine head, correct stop, I would prefer a little higher set of ears, correct bone, good feet, nice pasterns, moved with a parallel ground covering gait.

1. Boyle’s Barrenclough Heart of Gold JW. Lovely veteran male, well set ears, correct head proportions, correct bone, shown in full coat and condition, strong top-line, somewhat compact in overall proportions however impressed on the move with a balanced efficient gait, BOB.

1. Garland’s Burwen Bejewelled. Feminine head and expression, excellent disposition, this 9 month old bitch is a good prospect shown in full coat and excellent condition, absolutely balanced fore and aft, strong top-line, impressive parallel gait, BOB & BP.

1. Knipe’s Rahima Put A Spell On You. 18 month old male, somewhat ‘aware’ of his surroundings on the day, masculine head, good shoulder, as much length of back as I would like, balanced quick movement but slightly elbowed out on the return.

1. Knipe’s Rahima Im Seren at Xenora. 5 year old bitch, good head proportions, correct shoulder placement, strong top-line, well set tail, moved with an efficient gait.

1. Nelson/Snowdon’s Rozebottel’s Mario Tronti (imp NLD). Lagotto Romagnolo. Lovely masculine head full of vim and vigour shown in a full coat and hard condition, easy ground covering gait.

Murray’s Muireatai Miracle of Dreams. 3 year old Chesapeake Bay Retriever shown in hard condition, excellent shoulder and a good turn of stifle, good ground covering gait, its presentation on the day left a little to be desired.

Draj’s Forrests Impah into Griffonview. A nice Korthals Griffon, 2 year old bitch, good head and expression, shown in full coat, feminine head, I would prefer a little more shoulder and development of the forechest as she tended to be a little close on the out and back.

G1​Merry’s Gleadsbury It Is Destiny for Anacapa. Spaniel (English Springer). Very nice English Springer Spaniel, very well handled and presented, excellent balance throughout, good shoulder, had plenty of reach and drive and was a worthy winner of the Group.

G2​Mann’s Valger Tiggywinkle JW. GSP. A lovely youngster, excelled in her movement on the day and shows plenty of promise as she continues to mature.

G3​Mullinger’s Alladins Genie. Weimaraner. Impressive male as a 2½ year old, very well handled and presented, good shoulder, nice forechest, strong top-line, shown in good hard condition and moved to good effect.

G4​Elders’ Sh Ch. Enryb Sky Blue. Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla. Very impressive viewed in profile, good shoulder, good overall balance, strong top-line and really moved out well, very well handled and presented in good hard condition.

 

GUNDOG PUPPY GROUP

 

PG1​Gammon’s Martgarian Zantara. Hungarian Vizsla. 11 month old Hungarian Vizsla puppy, a beautiful puppy bitch, charming head and expression, very well balanced in profile, good strong top-line, a touch up behind still but moved with a perfect parallel and ground covering gait, very nice prospect.

PG2​Foster’s Auristela Ginger Rogers. Retriever (Golden). Nice youngster, correct leg length to body length proportions, good shoulder, good turn of stifle, strong top-line, shown in good coat and moved to advantage.

PG3​House’s Gleadsburgh Mad About The Boy. Spaniel (English Springer). Male, a year old, balanced when viewed in profile, will benefit with maturity however moved on the day with good reach and drive and is a nice prospect.

PG4​Rayner/Maskel’s Enjager Elegance for Brownbank. Weimaraner. Again another promising youngster, good shoulder, nice underline, good turn of stifle, correct croup and tail set, impressive ground covering gait.

1. Rossiter/Fewster’s Sh Ch/Ir Sh Ch. Joneva Just A Kiss JW ShCEx Osw Cw’25. Beautiful Pointer bitch, 3 years old, well proportioned head, good reach of neck, strong top-line, good bone, correct feet and strong pasterns, easy on the move.

1. Ellis’ Tenfield Dunkeld Dingo. Golden Retriever, male, good reach of neck, level top-line, good croup and tail set, out-moved the opposition.

2. Boyd-McNeil/Edwards’ Glennlokhen Chasing Dreams. Irish Setter, typical head, level top-line, good reach of neck, strong shoulders, good bone, front yet to fully develop but a nice prospect.

3. Morrow’s Ruembers’s Remember Me.

1. Cook’s Ravensett Illusionist of Settavista. A nice English Setter male, good head and expression, well angulated fore and aft, good reach of neck, level top-line, good bone, easy ground covering gait.

2. Balmer’s Trapaleba Carrera. A nice young Weimaraner, feminine head and expression, good reach of neck, nice shoulder, good turn of stifle, impressive movement in profile.

3. Mullett’s Seatallen Damson.

1. Wallis’ Lamancha Roll On Good Times. Golden Retriever, 4 years old, shown in full coat and good condition, comfortably out-moved the class.

2. Balmer’s Trapaleba Dior JW. Another quality Weimaraner bitch, balanced throughout, good feminine head and expression and when settled moved to good effect.

3. Skene’s Maleficent Madam.

2. Dandy’s Lowerleazes Rita. Golden Retriever, lovely head and expression, strong top-line, easy ground covering gait.

3. Balmer’s Mabanika Omega.

 

V 5(2)

1. Douglas’ Hosokter Tisza at Goldpaw. 10 year old Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla, feminine head and expression, balanced angulation and moved to advantage.

2. Ellis’ Tenfield Sparkling Sea. Golden Retriever, very well handled and presented, well angulated, toed out slightly but remains a credit to her breed as a veteran.

3. Murray’s Takoda Nathan.

 

ADULT HANDLING ASSOCIATION

 

17-30 YEARS 2(1)

1. Elanor Brown. Excellent handling of a 2 year old GSP, understated in all her movements, a good rapport between handler and exhibit, very well handled and presented exhibit.

 

31-45 YEARS 6(4)

1. Lucy Abercrombie. Well handled and presented exhibit, followed instructions perfectly and sympathetic to her somewhat nervous exhibit on the day.

2. Rebecca Watson. Handled a Border Terrier that would not cooperate on the day and consequently caused the handler a number of problems however she was persistent and understanding of the exhibit’s concerns but made an excellent effort and will improve with practise.

 

46-59 YEARS 7(1)

1. Dawn Simpson. Very well handled Saluki who was very cooperative and somewhat chilled on the day as a veteran however, they formed a perfect partnership and the exhibitor’s contribution to the pair was such that she was almost invisible showing the dog to advantage, very accurate on carrying out the instructions and took the class comfortably.

2. Rosemary Winkley. A somewhat uncooperative and ‘wiggly’ Whippet however very well handled and presented and the exhibitor managed to extract all the qualities of this young male whilst following the exercise instructions perfectly.

3. Kirsty Biggs.

 

60+ YEARS 6(1)

1. Sandy Nokes. Very high quality of handling, never put a foot wrong, good synchronisation with her dog and set an excellent example for others in the class.

2. Sheila Swan. Nicely handled Whippet, she was extremely kind and had a good rapport with her exhibit and followed the instructions exactly and never put a foot wrong.

3. Carolyn Snowdon.
