Many thanks to all the exhibitors who came under me knowing I was a replacement judge, it was a pleasure going over your lovely dogs. Spaniel (Clumber) Open (3,0) 1. STEVENSON’S KNOCKHALON PUT A SPELL ON YOU, A lovely active girl with a pleasing head and well sets ears. Good reach of neck with well set shoulder placement. Well sprung rib with good angulation front and rear. Effortless movement which was straight and true. BOB 2. NICOLSON’s CLUMBUS JOLLY JUMPER OF TARANSTIGH DNK IMP, A gentle head with lovely expression, well angulated front with a muscular rear. Moved well. Retriever (Flat Coated). Graduate (2,1) 1. BLAIN’S ROTHERFIELD MADE TO LAST AT STEELRIVER, A lovely boy with a pleasing head and dark eyes . Good reach of neck with good assembly front and rear. Short coupled with a level top line. Moved well. BOB Retriever (Flat Coated) Open (4,3) 1.BLAIN’S RONEVORG IM A BELIEVER IN STEELRIVER, Appealing head with kind expression. Deep chest with good ribbing and a good level top line with correct tail carriage. Just preferred the movement of one. Irish Setter Graduate (2,0) 1. MACFARLANE’S HARELFERG NEW TRICKS FOR UMFRIDO SHCEX SHCOEX, Lovely head and eyes, with neck flowing into good shoulders. Correct top line and nicely angulated quarters. Good legs and feet, moved well. 2. TUPPER’S ALOLFRANA’S WELSH CRUSADER, Lovely head and eyes. Excellent reach of neck with well laid back shoulders. Lovely coat and well muscled throughout just preferred the movement of one. Irish Setter Open (2,0) 1. Allan,Mrs. Chloe, GLENCARRON SHOW MUST GO ON JW, Typical head with excellent breed feature with kind dark eye. Strong neck with good length leading into well muscled laid back shoulders. Correct top line and tail set. Excellent rear assembly and moved out with purpose and drive. Shown in excellent condition. BOB 2. MACFARLANER’S HARELFERG MACFARLANE FOR UMFRIDO, A 7 month old baby, with a lovely head with a kind and gentle expression. Good reach of neck with well laid back shoulders. Deep in riband good substance. Moved well. Pointer Open (6,3) 1. BLACK’S, RAIGMORE DEFENDER OF FAITH. Lovely head with good balance and proportions not overdone in anyway. Neck of good length cleanly set into well laid back shoulders. Lovely top line with gradual fall to lovely tail set. Good front assembly with complimenting rear quarters. Very sound mover with good reach and drive. BOB 2. FEWSTER’S KIMIFLEUR BACK TO BLACK. Very similar attributes to one. Appealing head and expression with good length of neck. Short coupled with flowing top line. Preferred movement of one. Gordon Setter Graduate (3,1) 1. CUTHERTSON’S LAINNIREACH STAR GAZER. Shown in beautiful condition with a gorgeous head. Long neck into well placed shoulders, level top line. Good strong quarters with good bend of stifle and moved with drive around the ring. 2. MILLER’S CAFOTALIENA HEART OF A HERO. A lovely head with dark intelligent eyes. He is well made in front and rear with good depth of brisket. Moved well. Gordon Setter Open (2,1) 1. MILLER’S LIRIC JUST THE TICKET. A beautiful mature boy with a gorgeous masculine head, darks eyes with intelligent expression. Correct angulation front and rear with well sprung ribs and level top line. He moved sound holding good shape and balance. BOB Italian Spinone Open (2,1) 1. DUNCAN’S DIGGMERE STRUFFOLI AT LARHULY. Appealing head with soft expression, kind eye of good shape. Firm muscular neck and clean strong shoulders, straight forelegs of good bone. Has the correct top line with angulated rear quarters. Moved well. BOB Spaniel (English Springer) (1,0) 1. STEVENSON’S PEASBLOSSOM BROGAN AT GAOLACHCARA. Stood alone but no disgrace in that. I loved his masculine head with a kind expression. He is well constructed in front, good spring of rib to short loin. His body tone is firm hindquarters well muscled. He moved with drive and enthusiasm. BOB Spaniel (English Springer (4,1) 1. SCORGIE & MCNICOL’S PINEREOCH MISCHIEF MAKER. A very pleasing and masculine head, lovely front with good angles and straight legs. Well muscled hindquarters which allowed him to move swell around the ring. 2. ROSE’S PINEREOCH AMETHYST OF ROSANNOCH. A feminine head with sweet expression. Balanced body and moved well. Retriever (Labrador) Special Yearling (3,2) 1. POLLOCH’s POLLHAM BRACARA. Attractive bitch of good proportions with nice head. Eye of good colour and shape. Excellent front and feet, good depth of chest, level top line with correct tail set. Well muscled and moved straight and true. BOB Retriever (Labrador) Limit (2,0) 1. POLLOCH’SPOLLHAM JUMP FOR JOY. She has a lovely head with a good front. Good turn of stifle and well muscled. Moved well. 2. FARQUHARSON’S RAMSAYVILLE RUSSIAN RHYTHM. Well made strong dog. Masculine head with kind expression. Well boned and moved on good tight feet. Spaniel (Cocker) Graduate (10,2) 1. MACLEAN’S LYNWATER SNOW MOON. Very attractive head and well shaped eye. Excellent neck and shoulders, short body and good top line and which she used to her advantage when moving. Well balance and moved with enthusiasm. BOB 2. FLOWERS’S TOTENKOPF DUTCH DEVOTION. Handsome young man with nicely shaped head and good eye, neck and shoulders. Short level top line, moved well. Spaniel (Cocker) Open (9,3) 1. MACLEAN’S LYNWATER SNOW MOON 2. FLOWERS’S TOTENKOPF DRIVING ME CRAZY. Masculine head, kind well shaped eye. Good neck and depth of chest, good sound dog, holding top line and moving soundly. Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla Open (1,0) 1. ELDER’S Sh CH ENRYB SKYE BLUE. Lovely balanced head with dark eyes. Strong neck and well laid shoulders, good depth of chest and well ribbed. Nice bend of stifle with neat feet, level top line and harsh coat competes the picture. Moved well. BOB AV NSC Gundog Graduate (4,2) 1. LOGAN/ROBERTSON’S KENOULA BIG SPENDER - Spaniel(American Cocker). Lovely head, good in muzzle, eye and ear. Good neck length with excellent top line. Correct angulation angulation front and rear. Moved out with purpose. 2. ROLFE’S BYPHAR RUMBURRA - Lagotto Romagnolo. Lovely head of correct proportions. Compact body with level top line. Well angulated backend. Wooly rough coat with good undercoat. Moved out well. AV NSC Gundog Open (6,2) 1. STOKES’S JACLEE BROADWAY MADAM AT TWIZELTREE - Spaniel (American Cocker). A delightful bitch with rounded skull and a soft expressive eye. Stop clearly defined, good chiselling under the eyes. Sound through shoulder forelimb, compact body with depth and substance. Tail set correct, moved with purpose and drive. BOB 2. LOGIE’S GRAF III VOM BUSSHOF AT ALBADHU - Large Munsterlander. Handsome young man, slightly immature but a lovely clean mover. Well muscled, deep chest and well laid back shoulders. GUNDOG GROUP 1. STEVENSON’S PEASBLOSSOM BROGAN AT GAOLACHCARA. (Springer Spaniel) 2. STEVENSON’S SHCH/IR SH CH PLAINFIRE’S THE CAPTAIN OF MY HEART IS STEELRIVER SHCEX, VW - Flat Coated Retriever. Such a beautiful boy with such an appealing head and dark eyes. Excellent reach of neck into well placed shoulders. Correct front assembly with straight forelegs. Deep chest and well ribbed, hindquarters well muscled which allowed him to move with ease. 2. DYER’S BENTON SMALL TALK AMONG TYLWYTH - Welsh Springer Spaniel. Appealing head and expression, straight forelegs with neat round feet. Body in proportion with firm top line and good hindquarters, nice smooth action on the move. AV Gundog Special Beginners 1. BALMER’S MABANIKA OMEGA - Weimaraner. Lovely dog with balanced outline in good condition. Head of moderate length with kind eye and shape. Clean neck with good reach with good balance to fore and hindquarters, moved well. 2. DUNCAN’S CORRALET OPERA OF DUNHERL - Cocker Spaniel. Appealing head with good eye and ear carriage. Clean neck into good shoulders, good angulation front and rear allowing her to move freely.
