Thank you to the officers and committee members for their kind hospitality and to my stewards for looking after me throughout the day. Thank you to the exhibitors who managed to get to the show with your beautiful dogs. I would also like to say thank you to all the other exhibitors that entered, but were unable to attend, due to the terrible storms leaving those without electricity and storm damage to their homes, I wish you well and hope you soon get back to normality. PUPPY DOG (5.4a) 1st (BPD) TULLOCH, MRS D - BINNAIG SEA THE STARS OVER TULLOCHMOHR Quality yellow boy 10 month old. Presented in good coat and condition. Clean in outline and looking balanced throughout. I have had the pleasure of judging him before and he did not disappoint me today. His head is maturing nicely not overdone, clean strong neck, good shoulders, firm in topline, good set tail. He has ample bone and length of leg and stands on neat feet. He moved well covering all ground coming back to a good stance. It was a close decision between this lovely boy and his litter sister for best puppy in breed today. GRADUATE DOG (6.5) 1st HULLOCK, MISS K - SCOTSDYKE MARCHBANK BOY Chocolate boy 3 ¾ years old standing alone in his class, very attentive with his handler. Pleasing head, good width and depth of muzzle, clean strong neck, firm topline and set on tail. Neat feet and good length of leg and moved well. LIMIT DOG (2.1a) 1st ROBERTS, MR K & MRS B F - STORMROSE GOOD AS GOLD Yellow 2 ¼ years old another sweet boy standing alone in his class. Mature masculine head kind expression, good width and depth of muzzle, strong neck, good topline and set tail. Good width and depth of chest, well sprung ribs, strong hindquarters good turn of stifles and stands on good feet. Moved well. OPEN DOG (2.1a) 1st (BD -BOB- BIS GROUP 4) TULLOCH, MRS D - BINNAIG BONNACH FOR TULLOCHMOHR JW Stunning yellow boy in good coat and condition, another nice type from this kennel. I had the pleasure of judging him before he is a typical showman and was on top form today. Clean in outline and balanced throughout, carrying the correct amount weight of nothing overdone. Attractive masculine head, good eye colour and shape, giving his kindly expression, clean strong neck, good shoulders, firm level topline and set tail. He is well up for bone with good length of leg and stands on neat feet. Moved with good reach and drive. Top quality line up for Best in show. Group 4 PUPPY BITCH (1) 1st (BPB –BPIB - RBPIS) CAMPBELL, MS C - BINNIAG SEA SALT Yellow girl only 10 month old, a little bouncy at first but settled having moved around the ring once. Pretty head, good pigmentation correct eye colour and shape. Strong neck well laid back shoulders. Balanced in front and rear, good for chest width and depth, well sprung ribs not overweight. Ample bone and length of leg stands on good feet. Correct texture of coat and super condition. She looks very promising one to watch for the future, Won Reserve Best Puppy in show out of a large quality class. GRADUATE BITCH (6.3a) 1st CAMPBELL, MS C – BINNIAG SEA SALT Critique as above in puppy 2nd MORROW, MRS N – SERENGOCH’S NINE TO FIVE Chocolate bitch attractive head with good width and depth of muzzle, good eye colour and shape. Sweet expression, strong neck set into well laid shoulders, good depth of chest, ample length of leg good coat and feet moved well. 3rd HIBBS, MRS P - BINNAIG BLISSFUL LIMIT BITCH (5.3a) 1st ROBERTS, MR K & MRS B F - STORMROSE SIMPLY HEAVEN Black bitch 3 ¾ year old feminine head in proportion with the rest of her body. Good eye colour and shape, ample length of muzzle and good stop. She has a lovely expression, clean reach of neck and correct set tail. Ample length of leg and good feet moved well. Would have preferred a bit more substance. 2nd MORROW, MRS N - RHYTHM LACEY Chocolate bitch 3 ¾ years old, feminine head with kind expression eyes of correct colour and shape, good pigmentation and enough length of muzzle. Clean reach of neck, short coupled, good spring of rib. Good coat, very attentive with her handler she moved well. Would have preferred a better tail. OPEN BITCH (4 - 1a) 1st (BB) CAMPBELL, MS C - BINNAIG BUPPSALA JW Quality 2 - year old black girl, presented in super coat and condition. I liked her feminine head she is slightly broader in skull with a defined stop in proportion. Good width and depth of muzzle, correct eye colour and shape neat set ears. Balanced in front and rear with a good topline and correct set tail. She has ample bone and length of leg and stands on good feet. She was the best mover in this class today. Won best bitch. 2nd HOPKINSON & KLEINHANS, MRS D M & R A, REBBECCA KLEINHANS - SHCH ROCHEBY HAZELBERRY Yellow bitch 5 ¼ years old. Sweet feminine head with correct eye colour and shape, ample length of muzzle clean neck flowing into a good topline. Correct texture of coat to touch.
