Class 34 - Retriever (Labrador) Junior
(3 entries, 1 absentee)

1 Tulloch’s Binnaig Sea The Stars Over Tullochmohr; lovely young yellow dog, full of breed type, flows from nose to tail. Such a pleasing head with the gentlest expression. Good neck, level topline, correct angulation front and rear. He is well boned and in excellent coat and condition. Moved very well with reach and drive. Pushed hard for BOB and just lost out on maturity

2 Mullett’s Seatallan Damson; 17 month old black dog. Nice head with correct eye colour and shape. Very good front angulation with plenty of forechest. Lovely calm temperament and very attentive to handler. Moved ok

Class 35 - Retriever (Labrador) Special Yearling
(4 entries, 1 absentee

1 Campbell’s Binnaig Sea Salt; eye-catching yellow bitch, litter-sister to 1 in Junior. She commands attention with her vibrant personality and quality. She is well made throughout and has such a lovely feminine head with correct eye colour and shape. She is well muscled and in fabulous coat and condition. Moved well when settled

2 Givan’s Sudeo Our One N’ Only; quality yellow bitch full of breed type. She has the most beautiful head with a gentle melting expression. Level topline, well boned, and stands on neat feet. Shown in great coat and condition and moved well

Class 36 - Retriever (Labrador) Novice
(2 entries, 0 absentees)

1 Hibbs’ Binnaig Blissfull; darker yellow bitch. Good neck into well placed shoulders, level topline, well bodied with barrelled ribs and short coupled. Balanced, with good angulation front and rear. Moved well

2 Grant’s Pollham Morroch; smaller yellow bitch. Very sweet and appealing head with gentle expression. Would prefer if she was carrying a little less weight and had a better topline and tail. Moved ok

Class 37 - Retriever (Labrador) Graduate
(2 entries, 0 absentees)

1 Mcdill’s Kathgrah Toffee; chocolate bitch, not in the best condition today and lacking coat. Would prefer more bone and substance throughout. She has a well-set otter tail. Moved ok

2 Grant’s Pazanne Dionne; very finely built working-type yellow bitch. Very narrow head and has an untypical Labrador tail. She was very nervous and therefore it was difficult to go over her properly, however she has good angulation front and rear and moved ok

Class 38 - Retriever (Labrador) Post Graduate
(4 entries, 3 absentees)

1 Mcdill’s Kathgrah Toffee

Class 39 - Retriever (Labrador) Limit

2 Givan’s Sudeo Roxy; lovely compact yellow bitch. Nice head, level topline and a well developed powerful rear assembly which assisted her excellent movement round the ring with drive. Great muscle tone and condition, in full coat and standing on neat feet

Class 40 - Retriever (Labrador) Open

1 Tulloch’s Binnaig Bonnach For Tullochmohr JW; upstanding yellow dog who is simply outstanding! Oozes breed type. So masculine, with a chiselled head, yet no trace of coarseness. Correct angulation front and rear, good neck sweeping into well placed shoulders, level topline leading to a well-set otter tail. Good width of second thigh and well let down hocks. Good bone and neat feet. Shown in excellent coat and condition. Moved with power and drive covering the ground effortlessly. BEST OF BREED and I was thrilled he went on to be awarded RESERVE BEST IN SHOW in a quality Group under Tanya Lewis

2 Gardner’s Rewari Emilly; beautiful black bitch. Balanced, compact and well made throughout. Very pleasing head, in good coat and condition. Very attentive to handler and clearly has the sweetest nature. Would prefer a little more enthusiasm on the move
