Masculine head, sufficient bone and substance, OK lay of shoulder in full coat. Moved well in profile with good extension and balance, still needs to tighten in front and rear on the move. Sound moving away with very good side gait, co-ordinated, brisk and balanced which ultimately won him BOB. 2ND Ms A Fowler’s Tabanyaruu Unelma Kukinta at Lapinruska Longer cast style of bitch, Ok head proportions, preferred her eye shape over first, good front assembly with good shoulder and upper arm, balanced rear angulation. Sound out and back but did not display the side gait of one. 3RD Mrs N A Birks Pavoskas Galena Open (1, 1a) Old English Sheepdog Special Yearling (1,0a) 1ST Mr G & Mrs D A Castle’s Molyneux Just You Wait Pleasing head properties, good neck, excellent shoulder, ok ribs, still to fully coat up, excellent rear angulation with strong parallel hocks. Sound coming and going, good rear drive. BOB Limit (1, 0a) 1ST Mrs C Adams Makaylen Majestic Lady Nice style with correct body proportion, ok neck and shoulder, balanced rear angulation. Correctly defined head with active well positioned ears. Lovely front assembly, correct shoulder, good upper arm, nice length to foreleg. Good ribbing and length of loin, OK rear. Very sound out and back, firm topline. Best Vulnerable Breed Puppy 2ND Lewis & Morelands Potterdale Prime Rose TAF Lovely balanced 6 month old Bearded Collie bitch very close up to 1st. Excellent front assembly with OK neck, well laid shoulder and excellent length and return of upper arm. Correct in ribcage and balance of loin, excellent rear angulation with well let down strong hocks. Sound out and back, excellent low light footed side gait with good reach fore and aft. Just needs to finish in head/muzzle. 3RD Crosse’s Cairnstorm Lullaby RES Saletti’s ojase Blarney Magic Blue VHC Kerr’s Latjeata Angel Blue A.V. Moved extremely well, sound out and back with great reach and drive in profile,2 close up to first. 3RD Jones’s Clanwillow Crown and Glory RES Kinns’s Kinnuva Expresso Elixir VHC Salmon’s Obi Wan Kenobi of Kindergarten at Seasmolt (Imp Hun) A.V. Vulnerable Native Breeds Open Stakes (28, 15a) 1ST Williams’s Nyliram The Alibi for Trebettyn JW This Welsh Springer Spaniel of pleasing type headed a really nice class. He has a good head, sufficient neck leading into a very good lay of shoulder, good foreleg and feet, correct ribs, firm loin, well set and carried tail, excellent rear angulation with strong hocks. He was shown in lovely hard condition and was so very sound out and back and his side gait had plenty of drive. Just a shade longer cast than I prefer but I could not deny his virtues particularly on the move. His handler got the very best out of him to win this class and ultimately Best Vulnerable Breed in Show. 2ND Latheron & Trenchard’s Sh Ch Fynder Reacher ShCEx Well presented 4 year old Irish Water Spaniel. An impressive male of good size and bone, lovely head proportions, good neck, correct length of foreleg, good feet, dense tight coat, firm loin, excellent rear angulation. Moved soundly out and back, appealing side gait holding a good shape at all times. It was very close between 1 and 2.
