Thank You so much to the committee for inviting me to come judge the golden retrievers. I had a lovely entry with good quality and many hairsplitting decisions. Thankyou to all the exhibitors for the bringing your dogs under me 

Thankyou to my two lovely stewards that made the ring flow smoothly and a happy and fun day. 


Junior (12,3)

1st saunderson’s Drumkilty rebel song for crobeag 

This 17mnths old pale girl filled my eye with her balanced outline. With the most feminine head with dark pigment, clean neck onto correct shoulder placement with a level topline and short coupled, depth through the rib and good spring of rib. Excellent angulated front & rear, standing on straight hocks and neat feet. She powered around the ring with reach and drive, so deserving of BOB pleased to see her go further onto group 3 


2nd vane’s Bluebraes dragonfly amber 

This 8mnths old boy had a nice masculine head, well laid shoulders, level topline, well angulated, well let down hocks on good bone and cat-like feet. Once settled moved very well 


3rd Grady’s Thornywait bring it back glenrioch 


Graduate (11,5) 

1st Munro’s Thornywait royal destiny for glenbuie 

What a well balanced girl, feminine head with a kind expression, good reach of neck onto well laid shoulders, short coupled with spring of rib and level topline. Correct angulation with no exaggeration, correct tailset and carriage. Moved around the ring covering the ground with reach & drive. 


2nd Saunderson Moloko izipizi at crobeag 

Pale girl with balance although, pleasing head, lovely neck, and layback of shoulders, good return of upper arm on straight well boned legs. Level topline with well sprung ribs. Correct hocks on tight feet. Moved extremely well. Pushed hard for 1st just lacking her jacket today.

Post graduate (10,3)

1st Harper’s Tullochmohr ray of sunshine at glynerva JW

Mid gold bitch in good coat today, pretty head, good pigment with a kind gentle expression. Good length of neck, shoulder well laid, short coupled with correct depth and strong loin. Well bent stifles on strong legs. Moved well 


2nd Palmer’s Linirgor lady of cairnglen 

Nice feminine head with correct ear set, she was in good coat today, level topline with correct tailset and carriage, well bent stifle, well muscled hindquarters, strong hocks, on correct feet . would just prefer more length on the return of the upper arm. 


3rd Munro’s Linirgor walk the line of glenbuie 


Open (6,1)

1st Hain’s Fhairmhor wee midden at strathain 

A lovely happy gold bitch that showed herself well, free stood with the most waggy tail. She had lovely balance, correct shoulder placement onto well constructed front, straight forelegs with close fitted elbows. Short coupled with deep ribs. Level topline, stifle well bent. Well muscled with well let down hocks. Moved with reach and drive 


2nd Wallis’s Blue gemstone katrina at camellis 

Most masculine of heads with a gentle eye and correct earset, correct length of neck with shoulders well placed. Well balanced front and rear angulation, well sprung ribs and short coupled, moved well around the ring. 


3rd Wardern Noblemoon tak the high road to glentochty
